LIVING WITH UNBELIEVERS

Dear brothers, you are only visitors here. Since your real home is in heaven, I beg you to keep away from the evil pleasures of this world; they are not for you, for they fight against your very souls.

Be careful how you behave among your unsaved neighbors; for then, even if they are suspicious of you and talk against you, they will end up praising God for your good works when Christ returns.

One of the arts that each one of us needs to learn is how to live with people who don't believe in Jesus Christ that we believe. These people need to see God in us no matter what the situations are in life. Jesus prayed that God may not take His church out of this world, but that He may keep them from the evil one. (John 17:15)

Many Christians fell to act right before unbelievers and run to pass judgments on people. They forget that one day they were also in the mess of sin and it took the love of God to pull them out of their sinful lives. We judge others and try everyday to take the position of God by thinking that we have figured out all and nothing is wrong with us.

This doesn't mean that we need to be equally yoked with unbelievers, but it means to walk with wisdom in our contacts with them. They need to know the Lord through us and if we don't show our godly attitude before them, then they will be no one who can lead them to the way of truth. Many once known as good Christians did things that destroyed the faith of many, but you and i who are still walking in the truth need to be the good examples before the world.

This morning, I want to encourage you to ask wisdom from God that will help you to live with those who don't know Him yet. Maybe you have been having a judgmental mentality on those who do things that are not pleasing before the Lord. You need to remember without the Spirit of God in you; even you can do things that may amaze many including those who follow your example in Christ Jesus.

Stop boasting and think that you are holier or better than others. If you live the life that is perfect before the Lord then you need to be thankful and humbly help others to reach where you are right now. I pray that God may help you to know His word and live it without subtracting or adding anything into it. I pray that you may live according to the Gospel of Jesus Christ without watering down the truth or twisting it to please your own selfish interests in life.

Pray this prayer with me by faith and God is going to answer your prayer....

Dear Father, I give myself to You that You may change me. Lord help me to have a good attitude towards people who you don't know You. Use me to tell people about your love and help anyone who wants to know in this life. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
