LOVE DOES NOT BOAST

Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud.

1 Corinthians 13:4 NIV

In life most of the times we like to brag on what we possess or achieved in life. I am writing this while being guilty in this area too! We all have some degree of show off mentality. We like to be seen as successful people and hence we tend to advertise to people what we have.

We are living in a Social Media era where everyone is trying to prove that he/she is successful to the world. Some have gone great length in this and lied about their lives that they may impress the crowds of their followers. In the Church we have people from different walks of life. Some are successful while others are still struggling to put food on the table.

There are some getting daily food is a miracle while others are beyond that; and trust God for bigger things. It doesn't matter what stage you are in life; but you are not called to boast. God has given us richly all things to enjoy. He has given us a certain access of materials things than others that you may use them to bless those who don't have.

This morning, I want you to know God has given you good things that you may share with others. All what you have, the fat bank account, that luxury car, that big house and education is for the profit of the body of Christ. God didn't intend all of those blessings to be used by you alone. He wanted all people in your circle of influence to benefit from what you have.

Don't be selfish, learn to share. There are some people who will not appreciate your heart of love; but keep sharing with them where you can. You are doing it for God, one day you will come to understand that it was not about them. It was all along about Jesus, you were doing for God and God will reward you for that. We shall continue with this Series of Love according to 1 Corinthians 13 tomorrow if God wishes, God bless You!

****Morning Prayer****
Pray this prayer with me by faith and God is going to answer your prayer....

Dear Heavenly Father, I thank You for your word. Help me to be humble in all of my dealings in life and know that You are the one who has given me all things that I may enjoy. In Jesus' Name, Amen.

Morning with Ebenezer

LOVE DOES NOT ENVY

Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud.

1 Corinthians 13:4 NIV

The Greek word translated “envy” means “to burn with zeal.” Literally, the sense is “to be heated or to boil over with envy, hatred, or anger.” In the context of 1 Corinthians 13, the idea is that love does not focus on personal desires. It is not eager to increase possessions. God’s type of love is selfless, not selfish.

In contrast to God’s command, the Corinthian believers were ranking some spiritual gifts as more important than others and envying those who had the “best” gifts. In chapter 12, Paul points out that the different gifts are meant to serve one another and build up the church. No one person has all the gifts, but each child of God has at least one, and love demands that each gift be used to serve others rather than self.(http://www.gotquestions.org/)

Most of the time we envy others people gifts in the Church. We tend to want to be like so and so and think by that we will be seen as powerful people in the body of Christ. In the mean time in our normal lives; we tend to desire being like some people who we think are more successful than us. We don't appreciate what God has given us and end up hurting ourselves.

This morning, I want to encourage you to learn to rejoice when others people are blessed. We are not called to envy others but to love and rejoice with them in their success. If there is a friend or a person you know and has been promoted. You just rejoice with that person knowing that God has a good plan for you too!

I believe you have been given something with God. You are neither talentless nor gift-less; there is something in you that is so unique. If you seek the face of the Lord and ask Him to show you the purpose of your being. He will surely reveal everything you need to know about the gifts and talents He has deposited in you. We shall continue with this Series of Love according to 1 Corinthians 13 tomorrow if God wishes, God bless You!

****Morning Prayer****

Pray this prayer with me by faith and God is going to answer your prayer....

Dear Heavenly Father, forgive me where I felt bad seeing others blessed. Help me to rejoice with those who rejoice and to love everyone in my life. In Jesus' Name, Amen.

LOVE IS KIND

Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud.

1 Corinthians 13:4 NIV

Kind is a state of having or showing a friendly, generous, considerate nature. Kindness is the quality of being friendly, generous and considerate. The Bible teaches us that love is kind, in other words love has an ability of being friendly, generous and considerate to everyone.

We are taught in early stages of our lives to be kind to all people but never trust strangers. As we grow older we learn that there are some people who tend to take advantage of us when they see we are kind to them.

If you have the heart of giving, there are some people who will keep on asking you money and things even if they don't need them. In life you need to learn to say no to some people; but never stop being kind to all people. A person, who has the love of Christ in him; will give generously without expecting anything in return.

This morning, I want to encourage you to be kind to everyone. Maybe people have been taking advantage of you. It reaches a point you feel like you should stop being kind to them and be a mean person. Jesus fed 5000 men without counting women and children; but still at the end of the day they shouted crucify him before Palate.

You may help people today, who will later badmouth you; but still help them anyone way. If you are struggling to help some people just ask the Lord for a direction. There are some people who are real in need; but they don't appreciate the help they get from people. God may want you to continue helping them and leave Him to deal with them in His time. We shall continue with this Series of Love according to 1 Corinthians 13 tomorrow if God wishes, God bless you!

****Morning Prayer****

Pray this prayer with me by faith and God is going to answer your prayer....

Dear Heavenly Father, help me to be kind to everybody who come in my life in all the days of my life. In Jesus' Name, Amen.

LOVE IS PATIENT

Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud.

1 Corinthians 13:4 NIV

According to New Oxford American Dictionary patient is being able to wait without becoming annoyed or anxious. I have met many good Christians who are struggling in this area of patience. There are some people who are not patient drivers so they risk their lives daily that they may get ahead of everybody else.

We have some people who can't wait other to finish their sentences without interrupting. There are some of us who can't keep our promises. We tend to break them after sometime because we can't afford to keep waiting. I have seen Christians losing their temper and get annoyed easily; especially when they found themselves in the situations that they are forced to wait for something or certain people.

The Bible says love is patient, I was asking myself why Paul put patient to be the first component that forms love. I came to realize that patient is a foundation of all things, if you are patient enough great things will come in your way. If you are patient and wait for God, you will get the best of God in every thing in life. You can't say you walk in love, if you don't have patience in you, they all go together.

This morning, I want to encourage you to ask our Lord Jesus to help you be patient in all situations. You may be working with some people who get on your nerves every day. You have prayed God to take them in another department; but they are still there in front of you every new morning. Maybe God hasn't answered your prayers; because He wants you to learn to be patient and live with all sorts of people.

Sometimes God allow difficulties in our families, ministries and place of work that He may perfect our love. He wants us to be patient enough to live in any environments with anyone who may come in our way. He wants in all things to walk in love and be the source of hope in this hurting world that we live in today. We shall continue with this Series of Love according to 1 Corinthians 13 tomorrow if God wishes, God bless You!

****Morning Prayer****

Pray this prayer with me by faith and God is going to answer your prayer....

Dear Heavenly Father, help me to be patient with all people and in all situations. In Jesus' Name, Amen.

LOVE THE MOTIVATOR

Even if I dole out all that I have [to the poor in providing] food, and if I surrender my body to be burned or in order that I may glory, but have not love (God’s love in me), I gain nothing.

1 Corinthians 13:3 AMPC

There is a difference between doing charity works and walking in love. Many people things people who own charity organizations; and those who give themselves in doing charity works in the society have love in them. I believe most of these people do these good works for good intentions; but in order they can a reward from God they need to offer their services through love.

Paul says If I gave everything I have to the poor and even sacrificed my body, I could boast about it; but if I didn't love others, I would have gained nothing.  In other words giving your things to the poor, feeding them won't profit you anything; if love is not a motivator of your actions. If you will sacrifice yourself to die for others; but if you don't have love, your sacrifice will be nothing before God.

Love should be a motivator of all of our charitable deeds. We shouldn't do charity works that we may be counted as good people in the society. We shouldn't start charity programs or organizations that we may get material gains; or profit from donors contributions. Love should be the motivator of our giving, offerings and sacrifices in life.

This morning, I want to urge you to make sure that love is the motivator of charitable deeds in the society. If you want to help someone make sure that you do it by love. Don't help people because you to be known as helpful person in your community or Church. Don't do things that you may get praise from people and maybe leave your mark in history books.

If you do things that you may be seen, then you won't get anything from God. Your efforts and hard work will be in vain. God won't count anything; people may praise you and mention your name every now and then. But honestly that is what you are going to get, and you won't get anything from God. We shall continue with this Series of Love according to First Corinthians 13 tomorrow, God bless you!

****Morning Prayer****

Pray this prayer with me by faith and God is going to answer your prayer....

Dear Heavenly Father, I thank you for your word. Lord help me to let love be the motivator of all of my actions. In Jesus' Name, Amen.

Morning with Ebenezer

I AM NOTHING

And if I have prophetic powers (the gift of interpreting the divine will and purpose), and understand all the secret truths and mysteries and possess all knowledge, and if I have [sufficient] faith so that I can remove mountains, but have not love (God’s love in me) I am nothing (a useless nobody).

1 Corinthians 13:2 AMPC

Yesterday we started discussing the Series of Love according to first Corinthians 13. Today we will continue with our Series. Paul the Apostle continued by saying, "And if I have a prophetic power”; this is the gift of interpreting the divine and will and purpose, mostly known as prophetic gift.

Then he says if I understand all the secret truths and mysteries and possess all knowledge. Here Paul was talking about those people in the body of Christ who have been given gifts such as word of wisdom, word of knowledge and prophecy. God reveals to them hidden mysteries for the edification of the Church; and give them understand on the things that mere man can't understand. Then he says, “If I have sufficient faith so that I can remove mountains, but not love (God's love in me) I am nothing!”

This is so scary; sometimes we think people who have the gifts that are much seen in the body of Christ will receive the greater reward. The reality is the opposite, the Lord will reward our works according to the amount of love we put in it. If we loved the Lord as He commanded us and love our neighbors as our own selves.

This morning, I want you to know that at the end of the day only the things that done through love will be counted. You can prophesy to all people who will come in your life and help many understand their purposes in life. If you will not do them by love, you will not have any reward at the end of the day.

Your work will be in vain, your struggle will not be counted nor will you get anything from the Lord. You need to learn to love others; you need be genuine in your love and make sure you do not be like the hypocrites. You can be a source of joy and hope to someone who is hurting right now out there. I want to encourage you to ask the Lord to give you the strength to walk in love. We shall continue with this Series of Love according to 1 Corinthians 13 tomorrow, God bless you!

****Morning Prayer****

Pray this prayer with me by faith and God is going to answer your prayer....

Dear Heavenly Father, teach me to love like your Son Jesus Christ. In Jesus' Name I pray, Amen.

Morning with Ebenezer

THE GREATEST GIFT

If I [can] speak in the tongues of men and [even] of angels, but have not love (that reasoning, intentional, spiritual devotion such as is inspired by God’s love for and in us), I am only a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal.

1 Corinthians 13:1 AMPC

We are going to start another Series of Love according to chapter 13 of the Book of first Corinthians. We are going to read verse by verse that we may get the meaning behind of every verse through the power of Holy Spirit.

Paul the Apostle said, “If you can speak in the tongues of men and even of angels, but have not love, I am only a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal.” In the Church of Corinthians many people had different gifts of the Spirit; and there were some people who can pray or speak in different tongues by the help of the Spirit of God. It is believed that the gift of tongues was placed first as the most over-estimated gift at Corinth.

Apostle Paul was trying to say greatest gifts are valueless without love. If we don't have love while operating in our gifts we are only a noisy gong [simply a piece of metal, which when struck will merely produce noise]. Or clanging cymbal [This instrument can produce by itself no intelligible tune]. In other words we become people who have no meaning before our Heavenly Father.

This morning, I want to encourage you to ask the Father that He may give you the ability to love. Maybe you can pray until the heavens come down or you speak in all spiritual languages that the Spirit can grant to a person. If you can’t love, then it doesn't mean anything and you will not go anywhere after this life.

We were commanded to love one another; you don't have any excuse when it comes to love. You are commanded to love regardless the situation including your enemy. I want to challenge you to love someone today, and love not by words alone; but by deeds and truth. We shall continue with this Series of Love according to first Corinthians 13 tomorrow, God bless you!

****Morning Prayer****

Pray this prayer with me by faith and God is going to answer your prayer....

Dear Heavenly Father, help me to love like your Son Jesus Christ. In Jesus' Name, Amen.

THE FORGIVING LIFE

He has showed you, O man, what is good. And what does the Lord require of you but to do justly, and to love kindness and mercy, and to humble yourself and walk humbly with your God?

Micah 6:8 AMPC

I believe you have been brought from the mighty long way by our Heavenly Father. I believe you have a testimony of your life. I believe God has invested so much in you to make you who you are today. There are things that have changed since the day you gave your life to Jesus; you have experienced the peace that surpasses all understanding of men.

God has done great things in your life. He wants you to live a life worth of your calling in Christ Jesus our Lord. He wants you to have a forgiving heart, and be merciful to all people. God spoke through the mouth of Prophet Micah these things, "He has showed you, O man what is good. In other words God has taught us what we are supposed to do in life.

Then the prophet continues by saying, what the Lord require of you is to do justly, and to love kindness and mercy, and to humble yourself and walk humbly with your God. In other words God wants us to try everyone right, and live humbly and walk humbly before Him.

This morning, I want to encourage you to live a forgiving life. People will come and offend you; some of them will hurt you so bad. You will meet people who will insult you, curse you and despise you for no reason. You need to learn to live above all those things, don't give people power to control your moods; but you need to be in full control of your life.

They say life is not fair; some people will take what is rightfully yours. Some of them will be your close friends or relatives the people you love. Some will betray your trust, other will speak behind your back and some will treat you like a piece of crap. That's life! As a Christian you need to prepare for the worst and be calm in all situations in life. You need to be a good example to unbelievers by living and loving like Jesus. We will start New Series tomorrow, God bless you!

****Morning Prayer****

Pray this prayer with me by faith and God is going to answer your prayer....

Dear Heavenly Father, help me to live a forgiving life in all the days of my life. In Jesus' Name, Amen.

FORGIVING HEART

Then He said to the disciples, “It is impossible that no offenses should come, but woe to him through whom they do come! It would be better for him if a millstone were hung around his neck, and he were thrown into the sea, than that he should offend one of these little ones. Take heed to yourselves. If your brother sins against you, rebuke him; and if he repents, forgive him. And if he sins against you seven times in a day, and seven times in a day returns to you, saying, ‘I repent,’ you shall forgive him.”

Luke 17:1-4 NKJV

In life we will all get offended in one way or another. People will come that will cause us to stumble daily. The Bible says it is impossible that no offenses should come, but woe to him through who they do come! The person who will cause other to stumble will be dealt with accordingly. God has His way to punish all of those who cause offenses to other people.

Then Jesus said, if your brother sins against you, rebuke him; and if he repents forgive him. And if he sins against you seven times in a day, and seven times in a day returns to you, saying, 'I repent,' you shall forgive him. Here Jesus was teaching us not to get tired forgiving others. He wanted us to know that offenses will always come in our way.

If we know we will be offended every now and then, then we need to learn to live with people of different personalities. We need to develop an art of understanding people and know that not all the offenses that come in our way are personal. There are some people ends up offending others; because they are hurting inside. They have things that bother them so they tend to bring their frustrations to other people.

This morning, I want to encourage you to ask God to give you a forgiving heart. We are in need of forgiving people in the body of Christ. We need people who will understand that each one of us can make mistakes and quickly forgive those who repent. God wants you to be that particular person. He wants you to be able to forgive without putting forward any conditions to people.

The world needs people who will be forgiving and merciful. There are too much people who tend to hold grudge and hate people with no reason. You can be a source of hope by giving people second changes by forgiving them without any conditions. We shall continue with this Series of Forgiveness tomorrow, God bless you!

****Morning Prayer****

Pray this prayer with me by faith and God is going to answer your prayer....

Dear Heavenly Father, create in me a forgiving heart, that I may be able to forgive quickly with no conditions at all. In Jesus' Name, Amen.

Morning with Ebenezer

LET IT GO

For I will forgive their wickedness and will remember their sins no more.

Hebrews 8:12 NIV

We have been talking about forgiving others, ourselves and God. There is something that many Christians are still struggling in this subject of forgiveness. Many are willing to forgive but they don't want to forget what was done to them.

The Bible says God will forgive us our wickedness and will remember our sins no more. When God forgives us He forgets all what we have done to Him and starts with a clean slate. I believe He wanted us too to forgive and forget too.

Most of us struggle in this area. We are willing to forgive but we like to remind ourselves what people did to us and; this may cause us to mistreat them every now and then. It’s like a hidden form of revenge on them. We want to remember that we may categories them in a certain group in our minds; then refuse to accept that they may somehow come to change one day.

This morning, I want to encourage you to ask God to give you strength to let it go. I know you may be bothered by the presence of some people who hurt you in the past. Forgiving people doesn't mean that you have to trust them as you did before; but it simply mean to look beyond their faults. You need to give them a chance to show you that they can change and if possible earn your trust once again.

No one is perfect, so we all need to learn to live with each other. We need to let love have its way in our lives. I want to encourage you to let go that anger, pain, and hate before the Lord. He will help you to live the life worth of your calling in Christ Jesus our Lord. We shall continue with this Series Forgiveness tomorrow, God bless you!

****Morning Prayer****

Pray this prayer with me by faith and God is going to answer your prayer....

Dear Heavenly Father, help me to forgive and forget. Help me to let go all the pain that people caused me in the course of my life. Help me to be willing to give people second chances knowing that anyone can change one day by the help of Holy Spirit. In Jesus' Name, Amen.

Morning with Ebenezer

FORGIVE GOD

My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience. But let patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing.

James 1:2-4 NKJV

We have Christians who are secretly mad with God. They are mad with God because they ask themselves why God allowed some painful things to take place in their lives. They ask themselves where was God when some painful tragedies hit them where it hurts.

I do have questions too and I don't have all the answers in many difficulties life questions. I don't know what you went through in a course of your life. I haven't even walked a mile in your shoes, so i can't real understand that pain you went through in life.

I know one thing that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose. God allowed what He allowed to shape you to become who you are today. He could stop all those events in your life but He allowed them because He had something good in mind for you. If you are still alive to this day, then know He has a plan for your life.

This morning, I want to ask you to stop looking God as an enemy. Apostle James says, "My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials. It amazing Apostle James asks as to maintain good attitude in the middle of our troubles. He gives us the reason that is knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience. So if we maintain our good attitude in the middle of our hardships, we will build patience that God wants us to have in this life.

Then He teaches us to let the patience do its perfect work, that we may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing. After we have gone through all the experience that we are going through in life. We will have patience in all season of life and hence succeed in every environment that we will find ourselves in. So forgive God and thank Him for being there for you and forgiving you from all the wrongs you did in your life. We shall continue with this Series of Forgiveness tomorrow if God wishes, God bless you!

****Morning Prayer****

Pray this prayer with me by faith and God is going to answer your prayer....

Dear Heavenly Father, I want to thank You for everything that happened in my life. I will trust You in all seasons of my life knowing that you all things will work together for my own good at the end of the day. In Jesus' Name, Amen.

Morning with Ebenezer

FORGIVE YOURSELF

Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.

2 Corinthians 5:17 NKJV

We have talked about forgiving others, and how the Bible wants us to forgive others before we go to God in prayers. There is another part that most of us forget and it as important as the part of forgiving others.

We need to learn to forgive ourselves. In my personal life I have made mistakes and made some choices that I wish to go back and change them. I have done some things that end up in pain and regret. When I went before God asking for His forgiveness still there was a part in me hurting even after receiving the forgiveness from God!

Later I have learnt that as much as I needed forgiveness from God and those who I hurt along the way. I also needed to forgive myself and leave the past behind. I learnt that I needed to learn from my foolish decisions and choices; tap the wisdom from it and move on with my life. I learnt that there is nothing good you can get if you will continue blaming yourself for things that you did in the past. If you will continue blaming yourself, you will end up being confused; and unable to focus for what is ahead of you.

This morning, I want to encourage you to forgive yourself. I know you made many stupid decisions in the past. You involved yourself with the people who you were not supposed to be involved with. You opened your heart to people who end up hurting you and take you for granted. You trusted people who kept on betraying you over and over again. You unwisely spent your money and end up broke.

No matter what you did to yourself and others. In order to get the peace you need to focus on your future goals you need to forgive yourself. You need to let go the past and start afresh; learn from your mistakes and know that our God is the God of second chances. If He has given you another chance in life, then use it wisely that one day you may be proud of yourself! We shall continue with this Series of Forgiveness tomorrow, God bless you!

****Morning Prayer****

Pray this prayer with me by faith and God is going to answer your prayer....

Dear Heavenly Father, I forgive myself from every kind of thing I did unwisely. Help me to use the chance I have right now in life for your glory. In Jesus' Name, Amen.

Morning with Ebenezer

YOU WANT TO BE ANSWERED?

“And whenever you stand praying, if you have anything against anyone, forgive him that your Father in heaven may also forgive you your trespasses. But if you do not forgive, neither will your Father in heaven forgive your trespasses.”

Mark 11:25-26 NKJV

Many people are asking themselves why their prayers are not being answered. They fast for days and sometimes read a lot of books about prayers. They practices every way they think will help them to get answers from God. Still they don't get the answers they desire after they have prayed.

Some of them have decided to give up and stop praying. There are many things that can block your prayers answers from God; including sin or praying against the will of God. Another thing that can prevent your answers is unforgiveness.

The Bible teaches us that whenever we stand praying, if we have anything against anyone, forgive them, that our Father in heaven may also forgive us our trespasses. In other words when we fail to forgive people who offended us; then we won't receive forgiveness from our Father in heaven. This block our prayer answers because we will be praying while we still have sin in us. We read in John 9:31 that God doesn't listen to sinners. In other words if you have anything against anyone, and you don't forgive that person; then that's explain why God don't respond to your prayers.

This morning, I want to encourage you to examine your life and start offering forgiveness to people who wronged you. If you want to see God in higher level, you need to forgive all people who have hurt you in the course your life. Don't allow unforgiveness to block your blessings from God. I believe God has many things in store for you. He has good plans for your life. You need to let go those people that you may enter into the realm of supernatural.

The Bible says unless we are converted and become as little children, we will by no means enter the kingdom of heaven. If you want to enter that coming kingdom of the Son of His love; then you need to forgive. I know it's easy and it won't be easy throughout your life; but that is the right thing to do. You can change your life and set yourself free today. We shall continue with this series of Forgiveness tomorrow. God bless you!

****Morning Prayer****

Pray this prayer with me by faith and God is going to answer your prayer....

Dear Heavenly Father, I thank You for your word. Lord help me to let go all unforgiveness in me. I want to experience you in higher level. Help me Lord to live according to your will. In Jesus' Name, Amen.

Morning with Ebenezer

FORGIVE

But if you do not forgive, neither will your Father in heaven forgive your trespasses.”

Mark 11:26 NKJV

We will start a Series about Forgiveness. I know the reason the Holy Spirit keeps on returning this in my heart is because there are some people who need to forgive some people or situations in their lives. Jesus was very direct when He said if we do not forgive, neither will our Father in heaven forgive our trespasses.

One day I was talking with someone who was struggling in the area of forgiveness. She told me its okay if we may not forgive; because even God knows that is so hard to forgive. God understands it so she will not forgive some people in her life because it’s hard. I gave her above verse and told her the only way for us to receive forgiveness from God is through forgiving others.

I told her that with our own strength we can't forgive; but with God all things are possible. I told her that's why the Spirit of God came to this world to help us in our weaknesses. God knew there were so many areas that we struggled in this life; so He sent Him specifically to help us overcome our struggles in different areas. I told the only way you can receive that Spirit of God is through accepting Jesus as the Lord and Savior your life. Then you will be saved and receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.

This morning, I want to encourage you to forgive. I know that you heard of this subject before and it is not a new thing to you. If there is still some sort of unforgiveness in you then you need to let it go too! You may be able to forgive your co-workers, neighbor who throws the trash in your backyard; or a driver who cursed you on your way to work this morning.

In the mean time you may be struggling to forgive your mother in law who tends to boss you around in your own house every time she visits. Your sister in law who thinks she is better than you simply because you are married to her brother. Your ex who cheated on you with your best friend; or that relative who it is believed bewitched your family members and make them suffer. You need to forgive all of them no matter how big the offenses. God help you in this! We shall continue with this Series of Forgiveness tomorrow, God bless you!

****Morning Prayer****

Pray this prayer with me by faith and God is going to answer your prayer....

Dear Heavenly Father, I thank You for your word. Lord I'm asking that You may give me the grace to forgive. I can't do it by my own, help me Lord. In Jesus' Name, Amen.

Morning with Ebenezer

THE SET TIME HAS COME

You will arise and have mercy on Zion; For the time to favor her, Yes, the set time, has come.

Psalm 102:13 NKJV

I believe we live in the period that God wants to favor His Church. We are seeing great revelations of the God word as never before. Prophecies of the last days are being fulfilled as never before. We see the Gospel being preached in all parts of the world, including those areas that no one knew about Jesus.

BEAUTIFUL IN ITS TIME

He has made everything beautiful and appropriate in its time. He has also planted eternity [a sense of divine purpose] in the human heart [a mysterious longing which nothing under the sun can satisfy, except God]—yet man cannot find out (comprehend, grasp) what God has done (His overall plan) from the beginning to the end.

Ecclesiastes 3:11 AMP

Have you ever eaten unripe fruit? Maybe you have, and did you like its taste? I know the answer of most of you will be no. It is the same in life, if you do anything or access anything before its maturity time; you may not like its result.

The Bible says, God has made everything beautiful and appropriate in its time. This means anything becomes beautiful when it's done in its time. Many people are not patience enough to wait for the things to mature that they may last. Many of us want to fulfill all of our dreams now; and get prosperity that we desperately desire now.

This has caused many people to involve themselves with illegal deals and sometimes cheat to get ahead. God planted eternity a sense of divine purpose in our hearts. This is a mysterious longing which nothing under the sun can satisfy, except God. If you want to know if the blessings you have received come from God; they always come with this satisfaction with them. You can gain the whole world, but if God was not the one who gave you access to it; you will remain to be unsatisfied always.

This morning, I want to urge you to wait for a proper time for everything. If you a young man or woman who is unmarried, then sure you remain undefiled until marriage. Many people can say many things to cause you to sin. I came to understand that the best way to live a regret free life is to follow the word of God without questioning it. The Bible calls God the Father the Ancient of Days. He was there before the beginning of days and He will be there forever.

If He forbids you to do something, you need to be sure that He is the wise God. He knows the side effects of you doing that particular thing. Follow the Lord's timeline; don't mix yourself with any kind of sin. Live your life following His will and while waiting for a proper time for everything. Your life will be beautiful, and full of peace. You will eat the goodness of the land and live to see many days. We are going to conclude this Time Series tomorrow, may God bless you!

Dear Heavenly Father, help me to wait for the proper time of everything. I want to live a beautiful life, help me to have that life. In Jesus' Name, Amen.

RESPECT TIME

There is a season (a time appointed) for everything and a time for every delight and event or purpose under heaven.

Ecclesiastes 3:1 AMP

Yesterday we started discussing the topic of time. There is a famous saying that says time is money. In other words if you use your time properly, you can make money out of it. While others uses their time to sleep and doing nothing; other people uses the same time to develop their lives and do things that will benefit their future.

The Bible says, “For everything there is a season, a time for every activity under heaven.” This teaches us to respect time and not to ignore any event that takes place in our lives. Nothing happens by chance, everything has a reason. God allowed many things to happen in your life that He may shape you to become who you are today.

Many people of God fail to invest in the time that they have. People of this world invest their time properly and they tend to succeed in their things compared to the sons of light. It is about time now we need to teach and emphasize the importance of time in the Church. We know that we will live forever in Christ Jesus; but we need also to know that our assignment in this world is bound in time.

This morning, I urge you to respect time. If it is a time for work, you should make sure you work and concentrate on it. If it is the time for prayers, then you need to pray and completely submit your will to the Father. If it is the time to study, you need to study and make sure you understand what you are studying.

In the meantime you need to wait for the time of some things to happen in your life. It is not possible for a young man to get riches in few years; unless you inherit it or win a lottery. It takes years to accumulate wealth and there is no shortcut of it unless you involve yourself in illegal deals. It is the same in ministry, work or anything in life. It is not possible to get an overnight success and think that that success will last; but what you worked for will last because it is not a thing that you obtained overnight. May God give you wisdom to use your time properly. We are going to continue with this Time Series tomorrow, may God bless you!

Dear Heavenly Father, help me to respect time and be patience to wait for proper time for everything. In Jesus' Name, Amen.

Morning with Ebenezer

REDEEM THE TIME

Making the very most of your time [on earth, recognizing and taking advantage of each opportunity and using it with wisdom and diligence], because the days are [filled with] evil. Therefore do not be foolish and thoughtless, but understand and firmly grasp what the will of the Lord is.
Do not get drunk with wine, for that is wickedness (corruption, stupidity), but be filled with the [Holy] Spirit and constantly guided by Him.

Ephesians 5:16-18 AMP

Each one of us has been given 24 hours a day. No nation under the sun has more hours than others but still some nations are super rich and others are very poor. It is the same when it comes to individual levels; some people are super rich while others are very poor. There are many factors that can contribute on this but there is a single factor that we all have given in common which is time. We will have a short Time Series for the coming couples of day. I believe God will talk with us through His word concerning time.

Everything that takes place in our lives is bound in time. There are some things that you will never experience them until their time comes. When their times come, they will last according to their time frame and go away. That is why as much as we like to remain young and active always. There will reach a point that we will need to accept and embrace the fact that youth hood don't last forever; and old age is waiting for us in the next exit of life freeway!

It is important for us to learn the act of making the most of every opportunity in life. There are some opportunities that don't come twice; even if they come twice they won't be the same as they came before. People of this world, know how to redeem the time than the sons of light. It is about time the church learns the act of redeeming the time knowing the days are of evil.

This morning, I want to remind you to redeem the time. The time you have with your loved ones is limited.  Make sure you show them love and help them whenever you can that you may not have regrets when they are gone. You have a day that have 12 hours, make sure you work and maximize every second of it if you want to be successful in life.

You have been given this life to develop your relationship with your Creator. Don't wait the lasts minutes of your life that you may come back to God. You may never know when will be your last day on this earth. The time to repent and reconcile with God is now, don't wait for tomorrow or give sin a chance to control your life. We are going to continue with this Time Series tomorrow, may God bless you!

****Morning Prayer****

Pray this prayer with me by faith and God is going to answer your prayer....

Dear Heavenly Father, help me to redeem the time that I may make the most of every opportunity that will come in my life. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
