Morning with Ebenezer

THE LORD IS GOOD

The Lord is gracious and compassionate; slow to anger and rich in love. The Lord is good to all    he has compassion on all he has made.

Psalm 145:8-9 NIV

The Lord is good His love endures forever. The Bible talks about the goodness of the Lord from Genesis to Revelation. He is the one who lift up those who have fallen, and help those who are in trouble. He gives food to every living thing in due season and satisfy their desire.

He is the one who heal the broken hearted and mend their wounds. He saves the sinners from sins and deliver those who are oppressed by the devil. He hears the cry of those who call Him and answer their prayers. He is the protector of those who fear Him and provider of His righteous.

He has a good plan for each one of us; we are all precious before His eyes and He loves each one of us equally. He causes His sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous. (Matthew 5:45b)

This morning, I want to encourage you to meditate the goodness of the Lord in your life. Think about where you came from and where you are right now and where you believe the Lord is taking you. Think about the way He helped you in various problems and trials that would maybe put you to shame.

No matter what you are going through right now; just know that the goodness of the Lord is with you. If you will put your trust in Him, then He will make the way for you. He will meet all your spiritual and physical needs; He will protect you against the enemy and sustain you in the dry land. Have faith in Jesus and everything will turn out to be alright.

****Morning Prayer****

Pray this prayer with me by faith and God is going to answer your prayer....

Dear Heavenly Father, thank You for being good to me since the day I was born. Lord I praise You for the gift of life and thank You for saving me from death and hell. Lord I'm asking that You may touch my heart that I may continue loving You and dwell in your presence. Help me to become a person who You created me to be according to your plan and purpose in my life. In Jesus' Name, Amen.

Morning with Ebenezer

CONTINUE....

So then, just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live your lives in him, rooted and built up in him, strengthened in the faith as you were taught, and overflowing with thankfulness.

Colossians 2:6-7 NIV

We need to encourage each other in this journey of salvation. We need positive people who would encourage us and give us direction where we should go in life. We need those who will help us to understand the word of God and comfort us in the time of trials.

There is a constant battle that continues within our bodies, the battle of doing right and wrong. We can't fight this battle alone, we can’t resist the devil by our strength we need the help of the Lord in each step along the way. The Bible encourages us to live our lives in Christ Jesus, to be rooted and built up in him; this includes walking in faith and living the life worth of our calling.

Jesus said these words; I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing. This means without remaining in Jesus we cannot fight and overcome anything in this journey of salvation. Our success in everything is to remain in the Lord, to continue walking with Him in everything and all seasons of our lives. (John 15:5)

This morning, I'm here to encourage you to continue remaining in the Lord. We are living in the busy world, where everyone is rushing for success and better life. Many do this without even consulting the Lord for help including those who call themselves good Christians. I want to encourage you to continue being faithful no matter what the life brings in your way.

If you remain in Jesus, one day true success will come and your heart will be content. Jesus will bring in your life people who will cover every gap that people in your past left. He will wipe your tears and calm your fears; hold on Jesus and don't ever let Him go. I believe the best days in your life are yet to come so have faith in the Son of God.

****Morning Prayer****

Pray this prayer with me by faith and God is going to answer your prayer....

Heavenly Father, thank You this wonderful morning. Lord is another day that You have made, I will rejoice and be glad in it. Help me to continue contending for the faith even in this day; give me courage to say no to sin and temptations on this special day that You have given me. In Jesus' Name, Amen.

BELIEVING IN GOD

“Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father.  And whatever you ask in My name, that I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask anything in My name, I will do it.

John 14:12-14 NKJV

When this year started each one of us in one way or another believed God for some things in this year. Some believed God for their spiritual growth, others believed God for better life this year compared to the rest of their years before. Some believed God for their life mates and that God will give them their heart desires this year.

As the year goes by and things study gaining momentum in different sides of our lives; there is a thirst of seeing the result of our faith before God. We want to start seeing the tangible answers of our prayers; that God will start working within our time frame that we once gave Him at the beginning of the year.

The Bible says whoever believes in Christ, the works that He did, He will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because Christ has gone to the His Father. Then it continues saying that; whatever you ask in the name of Jesus, that He will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask anything in the name of Jesus, He will do it.

This morning, I just want to encourage you to continue asking God in the name of Jesus. If there is anything you want to see God doing for you this year; then you need to continue believing God for it and let Him do it for you in His time. Sometimes we push things to happen in our timeline and end up walking outside the will of God in our lives.

If it the will of God to give you that desire of your heart this year; then you need to be sure before the end of this year, God will answer your prayer. If it will not be the will of God to give you that desire of yours within this year; then be content knowing that you put the deposit of your prayers before God and these prayers are going to be used bring your answers in due time.

****Morning Prayer****

Pray this prayer with me by faith and God is going to answer your prayer....

Dear Heavenly Father, I'm asking that You may help me to continue believing in You. Give me strength to wait on your proper time for everything knowing that You make everything beautiful in your time. In Jesus' Name, Amen.

Morning with Ebenezer

 ASK BIG

And there are also many other things that Jesus did, which if they were written one by one, I suppose that even the world itself could not contain the books that would be written. Amen.

John 21:25 NKJV

The four books of the Gospels record 37 miracles of Jesus, not all people were made whole by our Lord Jesus but His ministry touched and changed countless lives. John the revelator who wrote one Gospel famously know as the Gospel of John; who then came to write the three letters of John to all people and the book of Revelation gives this record about what Jesus did.

In the last verse of his last chapter of the book of John, he says: And there are also many other things that Jesus did which if they were written one by one, I suppose that even the world itself could not contain the books that would be written. This was the disciple who was loved by the Lord and believed to be the youngest disciple of Jesus Christ.

He says that there were also many other things that Jesus did, this means Jesus performed many miracles that they were not recorded. He then says a strange thing that if these things were written one by one, even the whole world would not be big enough for all the books that would be written. This means that when it comes to Jesus people of God need to widen our thinking and imagination and ask Big.

This morning, I just want to encourage you to start asking the Lord for more without looking your present situation. We need to start thinking big, dreaming big and increase our faith ; knowing that our Lord Jesus can do exceedingly and abundantly that all what we think and ask.

I want to encourage you to ask the Lord for anything and let His will be fulfilled in your life. You need to know if you ask anything in His name He will do. If we ask anything according to the will of God, He will hear us and answer our prayers. God bless you.

****Morning Prayer****

Pray this prayer with me by faith and God is going to answer your prayer....

Dear Heavenly Father, I thank You for your loving-kindness towards me. Lord today I want to believe You for more than what my normal mind can comprehend. Lord I rebuke fear within me; Lord I'm asking that You may help me to have faith in your name. Knowing If I will ask anything according to your will, you will hear me and answer my prayers. In Jesus' Name, Amen.

Morning with Ebenezer

FILL ME LORD

Stephen, a man full of God’s grace and power, performed amazing miracles and signs among the people.  But one day some men from the Synagogue of Freed Slaves, as it was called, started to debate with him. They were Jews from Cyrene, Alexandria, Cilicia, and the province of Asia.  None of them could stand against the wisdom and the Spirit with which Stephen spoke.

Acts 6:8-10 NLT

The Bible is talking about Stephen who is traditionally regarded as the first martyr of Christianity. He was a deacon in the early church at Jerusalem who was hated by various members of synagogues by his teachings. He was accused for blasphemy and stoned to death by the Jewish authorities while Saul of Tarsus (later better know by his Roman name, Paul), witnessed his martyrdom, a Pharisee who would later become a follower of Christ and Apostle.

This man Stephen was full of Spirit of God; He performed amazing miracles and signs among the people. The Bible also talks about the wisdom that He had; He would debate with elders of the Jews and overcome them with the wisdom that the Spirit of God gave Him. He was a good example on how a man full of faith can act before people who did not know God. He had a courage that no man could have if not by the Spirit of God.

We are living in the age that many of the Christians are powerless; many of us call ourselves Christian but we walk in weakness. We don't have enough power to resist temptations; we don't have power to stand for our faith. There are many powerful Christian leaders who have decided to compromise our faith for sake of having large congregations. There are some who have been water down the Gospel that they may have a chance to build their small kingdoms alongside the Kingdom of God.

This morning, I just want to challenge you to ask the Lord to anoint you once again by His Spirit. I don't know how you walk with the Lord; but deep in my spirit I hear the agency of you to be filled by the Spirit of God once again. It does not matter if you are speaking in tongues, you are seeing vision, and dream dreams or prophesy; you need the power of the Holy Spirit in your life.

Maybe you have a gift of music, you can sing and bring the heaven down here but if you walk in sin then your work is in vain. Men like Stephen walked with the Lord in power and died a glorious death while serving our precious Lord Jesus. You don't have to die in sin while the grace is still available to all who go to God with their repentant hearts. You don't have to walk in weakness while the Spirit of God can empower you everyday to face the chaos of that day and come forth victorious. Ask the Lord to anoint you today by His Spirit.

****Morning Prayer****

Pray this prayer with me by faith and God is going to answer your prayer....

Dear Heavenly Father, I thank You for your word. Lord I have been tired and weary with carrying heavy loads of this life. Lord I need the refill from You today; I'm asking that You may fill me once again with your precious Spirit. Baptize me once again with the power of your Holy Spirit that I may walk in the power and wisdom of God. I need You the Spirit of God, come to my heart and make me a new creature in Christ Jesus. In Jesus' Name, Amen.

Morning with Ebenezer

DON'T MISS

“There will be weeping and gnashing of teeth, for you will see Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, and all the prophets in the Kingdom of God, but you will be thrown out. And people will come from all over the world—from east and west, north and south—to take their places in the Kingdom of God.  And note this: Some who seem least important now will be the greatest then, and some who are the greatest now will be least important then.

Luke 13:28-30 NLT

Everyone is aware that one day we are all going to die; but not all people are aware that there is still life after death. That's why we preach the Gospel in every way possible telling to all people about heaven and the life after this life. We are telling people there is a second death if they will die in sin, but there is life and life more abundantly if they will die in the Lord.

Jesus came to save me and you from the punishment that they will face all who die in sin. This punishment was intended to Satan and his fallen angels but a man was involved when he sinned against God in the Garden of Eden. Since that time God has been sending his servants the prophets to return man back to God; no one was one hundred percentages successful that's why Jesus had to come himself to die for us.

He was the man who talked about the Kingdom of God than any man ever lived. He talked about the Kingdom He knows because He came from that kingdom. He talked about heaven, because He was there before He came and He went back to heaven when His mission was completed. He talked about many who will miss heaven and they will weep and gnashing their teeth; when they see Abraham, Isaac, Jacob and all the prophets in the Kingdom of God, but they will be thrown out.

This morning, I just want to encourage you to continue walking in holiness that you may not miss the Kingdom of God. The Bible is clear that people will come from all over the world-from east and west, north and south- to take their places in the Kingdom of God. There will be people from Australia, America, Europe, Africa, Middle East, Russia and every part of the world you name it.

You need to make sure you will be among them; the power is in your hands. It's very simple what you need is to make Jesus be the Lord and Savior of your life. If you have made that decision then you need to stick on it and make sure you continue being faithful until the end of your life. God bless you.

****Morning Prayer****

Pray this prayer with me by faith and God is going to answer your prayer....

Dear Heavenly Father, I don't want to miss your Heavenly Kingdom. Lord help me to live the righteous life before You all the days of my life. Help me to obey your word and treat other like the way I want to be treated while keeping the faith in all aspect of my life. In Jesus' Name, Amen.

WORDS

Don’t use foul or abusive language. Let everything you say be good and helpful, so that your words will be an encouragement to those who hear them.

Ephesians 4:29 NLT

Have you ever thought of how you use your words in your daily basis? Do you use them to help and lift others and help them to reach their potential in life; or you just you use them as the tool to destroy other's confidence and cause conflicts among brethren?

There are some people who don't have friends because they tend to be outspoken; they speak their mind in everything without sometimes considering the consequences that follows. They hurt others by their words and no one seems to like them; because they have what is so called the tongue of the sword.

Here Paul the Apostle is trying to teach the Ephesians that they should not use polluting language, nor evil word or  allow worthless talk ever come out of their mouth. Then he continues by telling them that they should talk good speech that will be beneficial to the spiritual progress of others, while making sure that is fitting to the need and the occasion, that it may be a blessing and give grace to those who hear it.

This morning, I just want you to know who keep his mouth and his tongue keeps himself out of trouble, Proverbs 21:23. If you want to stay away from troubles in this life you need to learn to tame your tongue. You need to learn to use your words properly and know the exactly time you need to express your message for those who are in your circle of influence.

The author of the Book of Ecclesiastes says there is a time to tear and a time to mend, a time to be quiet and a time to speak, Ecc 3:7. I want to encourage you to ask the Lord to give you wisdom to know a time to be quiet a time to speak. You need to ask Him to set a guard over your mouth and keep watch over the door of your lips.

****Morning Prayer****

Pray this prayer with me by faith and God is going to answer your prayer....

Heavenly Father, forgive me for hurting other people by my words. Lord I'm asking that You may give me wisdom that I may know a time to be quiet and a time to speak. Help me to use my words for bringing encouragement for those who hear from this day forward to the days to come. In Jesus' Name, Amen.

TEACHING OF JESUS

When the Feast was already half over, Jesus went up into the temple [court] and began to teach. The Jews were astonished. They said, How is it that this Man has learning [is so versed in the sacred Scriptures and in theology] when He has never studied? Jesus answered them by saying, My teaching is not My own, but His Who sent Me.

John 7:14-16 AMP

If you want to find a good example of a man who walked with Spirit of God one hundred percentages in this life was Jesus Himself. He walked in the will of His Father; He did not do anything that He didn't see the Father doing. He performed all the miracles, signs and wonders through the direction of the Spirit of God.

He purely taught what He was told by the Father. His teaching brought forth life, healing and through His word miracles happened and are still happening up to this day. When the Jews were astonished by His teaching, He answered them by saying: My teaching is not My own, but who sent Me.

He did not seek His own glory but He sought the glory of the Father. He was a humble man though He knew everything and had the answer of every difficult question in this life. When He was twelve years old He was able to challenge the teachers of the law and they were amazed by His understanding and His answers, Luke 2:46-47.

This morning, I just want you to know that in the midst of the disputes in this world; if you want to seek the will of God, then you need to read and understand the teaching of Jesus. There is a powerful message behind those four Books of the Gospel. There is a timeless message for every generation until His second coming in this world. There is a power to deliver you and set you free from every kind of bondage you name it through those teaching of the man who changed the history of the world.

Every faithful minister of the Gospel should humbly adopt the teaching of Jesus and tell people about the promises found in it. If you want to build the kingdom of God then you need to teach the doctrine of the kingdom; if you want Jesus to be glorified and miracles to take place in your life then is about time to start keeping the truth of God's word in your heart. God loves you!

****Morning Prayer****

Pray this prayer with me by faith and God is going to answer your prayer....

Dear Heavenly Father, I'm asking that You may touch my heart that it may accept your teaching. Remove the rebellious spirit within me and create a clean heart in me that will obey your word and keep your commandments. In Jesus' Name, Amen.

LOOK UP

When I look up into the night skies and see the work of your fingers—the moon and the stars you have made—  I cannot understand how you can bother with mere puny man, to pay any attention to him!
And yet you have made him only a little lower than the angels and placed a crown of glory and honor upon his head.

Psalm 8:3-5 TLB

Have you ever gone outside during the night and try to view the night skies, the moon and the stars that can be seen? I don't think if we have enough technology up to date to build what we can see outside during the night. This means the technology of God is far beyond what men can do with their minds so far.

If you consider the ocean is another story. I believe there are still many things inside the ocean including the living beings that are yet to be discovered. There are many wonderful things out there, animals, fishes, mountains and valleys that no architect could be able to design or build.

This wonderful God gave you a family, for some He gave you wonderful children and spouses that you can't trade them for anything. He gave you places where you can call home and people to surround you and help you in life. In advance He saved you from sin and gave you the promise to inherit His eternal life if you will continue walking in His righteousness until the end of your life.

This morning, I just want you to know that God cares about you. Sometimes we face problems in this life and those problems tend to cloud our minds and we forget that no matter what we face in life God is still able to get us through. We forget the goodness of God in our lives and what He has for us from the beginning and hence we give in to despair.

If you feel like giving up in life, sometimes it’s nice to go outside and then look upon the night skies. If you will find the sky is still there and those stars are still shinning; then know that God is still in control and one day your problems will be over. Encourage and strengthen yourself in the Lord; He will give you strength to overcome everything you are facing now in life.

****Morning Prayer****

Pray this prayer with me by faith and God is going to answer your prayer....

Dear Heavenly Father, thank You for loving me. Lord I pray that You may meet my inmost needs; I pray that You may give me wisdom I need that I may face and solve my problems according to your will. In Jesus' Name, Amen.

LOOKING FOR COMFORT

All praise to God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. God is our merciful Father and the source of all comfort. He comforts us in all our troubles so that we can comfort others. When they are troubled, we will be able to give them the same comfort God has given us. For the more we suffer for Christ, the more God will shower us with his comfort through Christ.

2 Corinthians 1:3-5 NLT

Paul started chapter one of the second book of Corinthians by praising God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. He describes God as a merciful God and the source of all comfort. Paul understood the comfort of God because He suffered many trials for the sake of Gospel. If it was not God who was with Him; He would maybe somewhere given up on the work that was set before Him.

Here Paul says that God is comforting them in order that they may go and comfort others. The same comfort they received from the Lord himself; they used to give that kind of comfort to others. Many of us are looking for comfort in the midst of our troubles. We looking for people who will show that they care and willing to be there for us when we need someone to stand with us.

Some walk extra miles that they may seek comfort; they engage themselves in even ungodly relationships that they may get some people who may understand them. Some are willing even to giving themselves to certain men or women in exchange for comfort. Some pay money and use their wealth that they may get comfort from people who sell it; today I want to tell you about the man who give it freely.

This morning, I just want you to know that God is the source of every comfort and encouragement in life. He gives that comfort freely through His son Jesus Christ. This Jesus came from heaven to earth, to show the way. From the earth to the cross, my debt to pay; from the cross to the grace, from the grave to the sky. That's why we lift His name on high.

This Jesus will comfort you and help you to overcome whatsoever you are going through right now. Go to Jesus today and tell Him about your life problems. He will take care of each single detail and set you in broad way. He will help you and fill you with His peace.

****Morning Prayer****

Pray this prayer with me by faith and God is going to answer your prayer....

Dear Heavenly Father, I come to You by the blood of Jesus. Lord I'm asking that You may comfort my heart and fill me with your peace. Help me to overcome every obstacles in life and give me wisdom to be able to comfort others who are in need of my comfort for the glory of your kingdom. In Jesus' Name, Amen.

RELATIONSHIPS

Never speak harshly to an older man, but appeal to him respectfully as you would to your own father. Talk to younger men as you would to your own brothers. Treat older women as you would your mother, and treat younger women with all purity as you would your own sisters.

1 Timothy 5:1-2 NLT

Life is always changing; people come and go in our lives. Some bring forth positive effects and other come with their negativity. If you will be quickly asked what kind of people you want in your life, you will answer without hesitation the positive ones; but its fun that sometimes God allows even the negative ones to come.

I came to understand that all of these people come for a purpose; there are some things that you can't learn in life without meeting those negative ones. It may happen that you have been hurt by the people who came in your life every now and then. You have been having what so called bad luck with people who come close to you.

There are some women who find themselves meeting wrong men every day. Every man they get involved with in life appears to have some issues that they won't be able to tolerate. It is the same to some men who keep on getting some women who are not in their preferences list. This problem doesn't face secular people only but it also faces Christians; they sometimes don't understand how in the world the good Lord will continue permitting them to meet such kind of people.

This morning, I just want to encourage you to submit your relationships to the Lord. Some people think that we need to go to ask the Lord for big things: like to heal our loved ones from certain diseases, financial miracles and protection over power of darkness. They look at God who created heaven and earth and they admit He is the awesome God; so He can't be dealing with things like relationships.

I came to realize that although our God is awesome, and He is magnificent in wisdom; but still He cares for us personally. He cares your struggle on the side of relationships; He sees your tears and He is willing to help you if you will ask Him today. Ask God to bring people who will be used to lift you up in life and help you to discover the unknown potential in you; ask Him to help you live with wisdom whenever you encounter negative people in life and to use you to impart positivity in them.

****Morning Prayer****

Pray this prayer with me by faith and God is going to answer your prayer....

Dear Heavenly Father, I thank You for your word. Lord I'm asking that You may help me in my relationships, help me to understand those who need my understanding. Help me to love those who need my love and help me to respect each one according to your word. In Jesus' Name, Amen.

 HEALING

“He himself bore our sins” in his body on the cross, so that we might die to sins and live for righteousness; “by his wounds you have been healed.”

1 Peter 2:24 NIV

Jesus said these words, greater love has no one than this: to lay down one's life for one's friends, John 15:13. Here Jesus was talking about Himself, because He came and died for us. This was the sign of His love for us, He gave up His love that we may have life.

We see the record of crucifixion of our Lord Jesus Christ in all the four books of the Gospel. This death of Jesus was predicted many years ago with prophets who lived in ancient Israel. For example Isaiah who lived 750 years before Christ wrote the following:

People made fun of him, and even his friends left him. He was a man who suffered a lot of pain and sickness. We treated him like someone of no importance, like someone people will not even look at but turn away from in disgust.

The fact is, it was our suffering he took on himself; he bore our pain. But we thought that God was punishing him, that God was beating him for something he did. But he was being punished for what we did. He was crushed because of our guilt. He took the punishment we deserved, and this brought us peace. We were healed because of his pain.(Isaiah 53:3-5)

This morning, I just want you to know that there is healing in the blood of Jesus. The Bible says by his wounds we were healed. We have been healed from the wounds of the past, we have been healed from the guilt of sin and we have been forgiven from His death there on the old rugged cross.

Through Jesus we have the assurance of seeing the Father; because He is the only way, the truth and the life and no one will go to the Father without Him. Use this weekend to thank Jesus for the sacrifice that He has made for you and me. Thank Him for the healing, miracles and joy He has fill your heart. Thank Him for His is good and His love endures forever.

****Morning Prayer****

Pray this prayer with me by faith and God is going to answer your prayer....

Dear Heavenly Father, I thank You for your Word. Lord thank You for your love that You have shown us by the sending your only begotten Son that He may come and die for us. I'm free today because of the sacrifice that Jesus made there on the Cross. Lord I praise You for everything that You have done in my life, thank You for your forgiveness of sins. In Jesus Name, Amen.

RUN TO GOD

It is better to trust in the Lord
Than to put confidence in man.
It is better to trust in the Lord
Than to put confidence in princes.

Psalm 118:8-9 NKJV

David understood that it was better to run to God than to run to men. When He sinned by counting people, God sent the Gad who was David's seer with three choices of punishment. The LORD gave the following choices to David, three years of famine, three months of being swept away before his enemies, with their swords overtaking him, or three days of the sword of the LORD-days of plague in the land, with the angel of the LORD ravaging every part of Israel.(1 Chronicles 21:8-14)

David responded to Gad by saying, “I am in deep distress. Let me fall into the hands of the Lord, for his mercy is very great; but do not let me fall into human hands.” David knew if he would run to the LORD, he would find mercies and grace. He knew the Lord would not completely cut him off and He would eventually forgive him from all of his sins.

The lesson David is teaching us through His life is that no matter how far we have gone away from God; we need to go back to Him alone and not human beings. He knew that there would always a room for mercy and grace before the hands of the Lord no matter how astray we have gone in our lives. It doesn’t matter how many years you have lived a selfish life of sin; but still as long as you have this breath, then there is a hope for you.

This morning, I just want to encourage you to run to God. He is the only one who can understand what you are going through in life right now. He knows your pain, He knows your good desires and He will sympathize with you in your weaknesses and give you the strength to overcome them.

It is better to trust in the Lord than to put confidence in man. Learn to share your things with Jesus instead of telling anyone who comes in your way. You will avoid many things and save yourself the pain that you will have when someone recklessly shares what was meant to be your secret. Jesus will keep your secret and protect your dignity; put your confidence to Him today.

****Morning Prayer****

Pray this prayer with me by faith and God is going to answer your prayer....

Dear Heavenly Father, I'm coming before You by the blood of Jesus. Lord I give you all the things in my life; Lord I have many doubts and questions about tomorrow. Lord I struggle with many things within me and I need You to stretch your hand and touch me. Touch me and change whatsoever has gone astray in my life; restore the joy of salvation within me and fill me with the power of your Spirit once again. In Jesus' Name, Amen.

WAY OF THE LORD

Commit your way to the Lord,
Trust also in Him,
And He shall bring it to pass.

Psalm 37:5 NKJV

Before many of us knew the Lord we used to live for the world. We did everything to fulfill the desire of the flesh and follow what seems to be right before our own eyes. We made many decisions according to the dictates of the flesh and regretted later for what we did.

The Bible is talking about ways of the man; there are few Scriptures in the book of Proverbs that example those ways. Let me share with you here that you may see what the Bible says about the ways that one's can choose.
All the ways of a man are pure in his own eyes,
But the Lord weighs the spirits. (Proverbs 16:2)

Every way of a man is right in his own eyes,
But the Lord weighs the hearts. (Proverbs 21:2)

There is a way that seems right to a man,
But its end is the way of death. (Proverbs 14:12, 16:25)

There are ways that the Bible calls the ways of death; these are ways that end up in death as the wages of those ways. The Bible is clear that the wages of sin is death; so in other these ways are the ways of sin that bring forth death to people if they are not repent them and ask the Lord for forgiveness.

This morning, I just want to encourage you to live the way of the Lord. I know you may be falling every now and then; but I'm here to encourage you not to lose heart. I know you have gone through many things in life and there were times you felt like giving up on things; but thanks to the good Lord who gave you strength to move on. Even now if you ask Him, He will help you to overcome any kind of sin in your life.

You will never live a holy life before the Lord without the help of the Spirit of God. You will never win over sin and all weaknesses in your life by your own strength. You will not be able to please God by your good deeds and efforts to be a better person. You need Jesus; you need the good Lord to help you fulfill that wonderful desire of living a holy life in you. Go to Him today as you go to a friend; ask Him to help you overcome whatsoever you are going through right now and trust me He will never let you down.

Dear Heavenly Father, I submit my ways before You today. Lord I'm asking that You may guide my steps; help me to live according to what your word says I'm supposed to live. Morning with Ebenezer

THE NAME

And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient to the point of death, even the death of the cross.

Philippians 2:8 NKJV

We are in the Easter week; we remember the death and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ. We remember the victory that our Lord won over sin; He came for this purpose in this world that He may save the lost mankind from death and hell.

This is no ordinary week, this is the week that Jesus was tempted to leave the original plan of God and maybe to seek another way to save humanity. He did not want to do it like the way He felt like in His human soul but He let the will of the Father to prevail. He let the Father to fulfill His original plan in His life for the sake of all of us.

Paul says after Jesus obeyed the will of the Father, God also highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name. Then He continued by saying, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the end, and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. (Philippians 2:9-11)

This morning, I just want you to know that Jesus is the name above every name. I don't want the name of your problem, what is the name of your diseases, I don't know what the name of your situation is, but I know one name that is above all those names which is the name of Jesus.

If you submit yourself to Jesus today, your diseases will bow down before Him; your problems will confess His greatest after He has helped you to solve them all. Use this week to ask Jesus for forgiveness, ask Him to give you strength to overcome sin that has been entangled you all this time. Don't give up on yourself; don't give up on God, because He won't give up on you.

Dear Heavenly Father, I come to You by the blood of Jesus. I'm asking that You may forgive me from all my sins; Lord I have done many things that are against your will in my life. Forgive me for being disobedient in so many ways and live the life that I think is right before my own eyes. Help me to live according to your word in my life. In Jesus' Name, Amen.

Morning with Ebenezer

BE PATIENT

Brothers and sisters, follow the example of the prophets who spoke for the Lord. They suffered many hard things, but they were patient.  We say they are happy because they did not give up. You have heard about Job’s patience, and you know the Lord’s purpose for him in the end. You know the Lord is full of mercy and is kind.

James 5:10-11 NCV

Maybe you have reached a point where you don't understand God anymore. You have found yourself in a position where all that you once hoped for to happen at this time in your life have gone south. You thought you had all things figured out and believe that God will bless the work of your hands but things have come against your wishes.

We all reach a point in life where we fail to understand God in some things. There are questions like why God has allowed these things to happen in this time of my life; questions like why me Lord? I have walked in faithfulness and feared your name, but still I find myself in this mess. In my personal life, I sometimes ask God many questions that I don't get instant answers and then I choose to trust Him in all seasons.

One day Andrae Crouch sang these powerful words in his song Through it all: I've had many tears and sorrows, I've had questions for tomorrow, there's been times I didn't know right from wrong, But in every situation, God gave me blessed consolation, that my trials come to make me strong. Then He continued by a chorus saying: Through it all, through it all, I've learned to trust in Jesus, I've learned to trust in God.

This morning, I just want to encourage you to continue putting your trust in Jesus knowing that God is not a man He just can't lie. In spite of what the devil does God will never leave nor forsake you. The Bible speaks about the prophets who spoke for the Lord; these men suffered many hard things, but they were patient. They did not give up no matter what came in their way; they firmly put their trust in God.

It gives the example of Job who suffered many things but God delivered him from all of his troubles. You may be suffering now but I have a prophetic word for you that God is going to deliver you from all your present troubles and crown you with endless joy. God is about to do a miracle in your life; hang on in there don't give up just yet!

****Morning Prayer****

Pray this prayer with me by faith and God is going to answer your prayer....

Dear Heavenly Father, I have been asking You a lot of questions and sometimes blame You for what have been happening in my life. I know you have the thoughts of peace and not of evil, the thoughts to give me hope in my final outcome. But Lord I sometimes fail to see all of this and find myself in the valley of despair; today I'm asking that You may help me and give me strength. Help me to continue trusting in You in all things that I will be going through now and the days to come. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
