REDEEM THE TIME

Making the very most of your time [on earth, recognizing and taking advantage of each opportunity and using it with wisdom and diligence], because the days are [filled with] evil. Therefore do not be foolish and thoughtless, but understand and firmly grasp what the will of the Lord is.
Do not get drunk with wine, for that is wickedness (corruption, stupidity), but be filled with the [Holy] Spirit and constantly guided by Him.

Ephesians 5:16-18 AMP

Each one of us has been given 24 hours a day. No nation under the sun has more hours than others but still some nations are super rich and others are very poor. It is the same when it comes to individual levels; some people are super rich while others are very poor. There are many factors that can contribute on this but there is a single factor that we all have given in common which is time. We will have a short Time Series for the coming couples of day. I believe God will talk with us through His word concerning time.

Everything that takes place in our lives is bound in time. There are some things that you will never experience them until their time comes. When their times come, they will last according to their time frame and go away. That is why as much as we like to remain young and active always. There will reach a point that we will need to accept and embrace the fact that youth hood don't last forever; and old age is waiting for us in the next exit of life freeway!

It is important for us to learn the act of making the most of every opportunity in life. There are some opportunities that don't come twice; even if they come twice they won't be the same as they came before. People of this world, know how to redeem the time than the sons of light. It is about time the church learns the act of redeeming the time knowing the days are of evil.

This morning, I want to remind you to redeem the time. The time you have with your loved ones is limited.  Make sure you show them love and help them whenever you can that you may not have regrets when they are gone. You have a day that have 12 hours, make sure you work and maximize every second of it if you want to be successful in life.

You have been given this life to develop your relationship with your Creator. Don't wait the lasts minutes of your life that you may come back to God. You may never know when will be your last day on this earth. The time to repent and reconcile with God is now, don't wait for tomorrow or give sin a chance to control your life. We are going to continue with this Time Series tomorrow, may God bless you!

****Morning Prayer****

Pray this prayer with me by faith and God is going to answer your prayer....

Dear Heavenly Father, help me to redeem the time that I may make the most of every opportunity that will come in my life. In Jesus' Name, Amen.

LIVING THE LIFE OF FAITH

This is the sum of the years of Abraham’s life which he lived: one hundred and seventy-five years. Then Abraham breathed his last and died in a good old age, an old man and full of years, and was gathered to his people.

Genesis 25:7-8 NKJV

The Bible explain in details the life of Abraham, he was a man of God who lived by faith. He obeyed the will of the Father and walked in the way of righteousness. God was with him and showed Himself faithful in Abraham's life.

These things were written to teach us that we ought to live the life of faith, they were written to show us that if we put our faith in God will receive the reward from Him. The story of Abraham shows that God is in control over every event that takes place in someone's life. It shows He has the ability to do anything and choose whoever He wants to use in this life.

This is why you shouldn’t look yourself down or think you are of no importance in this life. We see God calling Abraham when he was 75 years old. It doesn't matter how many years you were away from God but still God can use you mightily. The story of Abraham teaches us to depend on God in everything and trust God even in the times of darkness in life.

This morning, I want to encourage you to live the life of faith. I don't know what you have been going through this year; but I believe with all of my heart that God wants you to have faith. He wants you to live by faith and not by sight. God wants you to trust Him even if all things seem to be different from what you expected them to be.

There are some things that have happened in your life that God intended to use them to build your faith. That's why you have seen God because you had no choice but believe in Him in your trials and temptations. In your prayers ask the good Lord to perfect your faith everyday; ask Him to help you live by faith while you are waiting for His Second Coming.

****Morning Prayer****

Pray this prayer with me by faith and God is going to answer your prayer....

Dear Heavenly Father, I'm asking that You may help me to live the life of faith in all the days of my life. In Jesus' Name, Amen.

CONQUER ENEMIES GATES BY FAITH

The Angel of the Lord called to Abraham from heaven a second time and said, “By Myself (on the basis of Who I Am) I have sworn [an oath], declares the Lord, that since you have done this thing and have not withheld [from Me] your son, your only son [of promise], indeed I will greatly bless you, and I will greatly multiply your descendants like the stars of the heavens and like the sand on the seashore; and your seed shall possess the gate of their enemies [as conquerors]. Through your seed all the nations of the earth shall be blessed, because you have heard and obeyed My voice.”

Genesis 22:15-18 AMP

Abraham obeyed the Lord, and he was willing to sacrifice Isaac his only son. When the Lord saw Abraham's obedience, he called him from heaven and proclaims the blessings that will follow Abraham with his descendants. These include Abraham descendants in the fresh and those who are in the spirit who came forth from Jesus Christ, the Church of Jesus Christ in this world.

The LORD God said, “By Myself I have sworn, says the Lord, because you have done this thing, and have not withheld your son, your only son— blessing I will bless you, and multiplying I will multiply your descendants as the stars of the heaven and as the sand which is on the seashore; and your descendants shall possess the gate of their enemies.

He promised to bless Abraham, multiply his descendants as the stars of the heaven and as the sand which is on the seashore; and your seed shall possess the gate of their enemies as conquerors. All descendants of Abraham who came forth from Isaac in the flesh are destined to conqueror the gate of their enemies. The descendants of Abraham in the spirit that came forth from Jesus Christ are destined to possess the gates of their enemies both in the flesh and spirit.

This morning, I want you to know by faith you can conquer the gate of your enemies. Whatever enemies you are fighting with in life, the Lord has given you in your hands. He has given you power over all kinds of diseases, demons and power of the evil one. He has given you the ability to accumulate wealth and the wisdom to use it.

You need to learn to live the life of faith and put your faith in the Lord your God. It is not easy to walk with the Lord in this life. There are many things that will come in your way but if you will be faithful then the Lord will help you to overcome them all. We are going to conclude this Faith Series tomorrow, God bless you, Abraham.

****Morning Prayer****

Pray this prayer with me by faith and God is going to answer your prayer....

Dear Heavenly Father, I know by faith I will conquer all my enemies according to your promise in Christ Jesus. Help me to stand strong that I may receive that promise. In Jesus' Name, Amen.

Morning with Ebenezer

HE WILL PROVIDE FOR YOU BY FAITH

“Don’t lay a hand on the boy!” the angel said. “Do not hurt him in any way, for now I know that you truly fear God. You have not withheld from me even your son, your only son.”

Then Abraham looked up and saw a ram caught by its horns in a thicket. So he took the ram and sacrificed it as a burnt offering in place of his son. Abraham named the place Yahweh-Yireh (which means “the Lord will provide”). To this day, people still use that name as a proverb: “On the mountain of the Lord it will be provided.”

Genesis 22:12-14 NLT

Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, and the evidence of things not seen. Abraham passed his test because he was willing to sacrifice his only son before the Lord. When God saw it, He came with an alternative. He gave Abraham a ram instead who died on the place of Isaac; this ram represented our Lord Jesus Christ who will die for our sins.

Abraham named the place Yahweh-Yireh (which means “the Lord will provide”). In English we say Jehovah Jireh; on the mountain of the Lord it will be provided. If you go before God in prayers, tell him all of your needs and surrender your will to Him. He will provide for you, He will make a way where seems to be no way then restore all the years; and things that the enemy had stolen from you.

God is the one who provides all things we need in this life. If you need love then God will raise people who will come in your life and show you the love of God. They will act like the brothers and sisters you didn't have; mothers you desperately wanted and fathers you strongly desired. If you didn't have children then God will raise young men and women who will consider you like their parent and fulfill the innermost desire in you.

This morning, I want you to know that God will provide everything you need by faith. He is Jehovah Jireh, your provider! He knows what you need and God will meet all your needs according to the riches of His glory in Christ Jesus. So don't worry about what you will eat, wear or drink; because God knows you are in need of all of those.

I want to encourage you seek Kingdom of God above all else, and live righteously, and He will give you everything you need. He gave Abraham a child, riches and glory in his life. It is the will of God to prosper us and help us live the life of peace. That's why His Kingdom is the Kingdom of peace, and He is the Prince of Peace. If you want to obtain true riches and live gracefully the rest of your days; then you need to put your faith in our God and His Christ. We are going to continue with this Faith Series tomorrow by continue exploring the life of the Father of Faith, Abraham.

****Morning Prayer****

Pray this prayer with me by faith and God is going to answer your prayer....

Dear Father, I give myself in your hands. I surrender my will and my life into your hands. May you be my provider and the Lord of my life. In Jesus' Name, Amen.

THE TEST OF FAITH

Sometime later God tested Abraham. He said to him, “Abraham!”
“Here I am,” he replied.
Then God said, “Take your son, your only son, whom you love—Isaac—and go to the region of Moriah. Sacrifice him there as a burnt offering on a mountain I will show you.”

Genesis 22:1-2 NIV

What do you do when the things that you have worked for your entire life fall apart? What do you do when the husband that you believed God for runs away? The child that you trained in the way of the Lord and make sure you prayed for him or her everyday goes astray?

What do you do when the business you built from the scratch; you used all of your resources that it may stand end up in huge loss and you are unable to recover it?  What do you do when people start doubting your calling in Christ Jesus; and say every harsh word against your ministry? What do you do when you lose the job that helped you to feed your family; and no any other company seems interested to hire you, because of the economy is bad or because you were fired?

People ask themselves why bad things happen to good people. It is a difficult question to answer; sometimes you can't have answers why you faced what you faced in your life. I don't know why some unfortunate things happened to me in the past. But I know through it all, I have learnt to trust in Jesus, I have learnt to trust in God. God was there in everything; and He is still here giving me strength from day to day that I may walk in His will and purpose over my life.

This morning, I want you to know that God knows the way that you take; when He has tested you, you shall come forth as gold. He has allowed that test to come to you, because He wants to see your reaction in all seasons of your life. He tested Abraham to see if Abraham loved Him more than his son only son Isaac. When Abraham was willing to obey God and offer Isaac to God, that act of obedience touched the heart of God.

The Bible says in Hebrews 11:19, Abraham reasoned that if Isaac died, God was able to bring him back to life again. And in a sense, Abraham did receive his son back from the dead. In figuratively speaking, he did receive him back from dead. He has faith on God, that's why he obeyed Him. I don't know what you are going through right now, but whatever the enemy buried, God will turn it to be a seed! It will rise back to life and becomes a big tree; so do not be afraid. What you need is to have faith in God in the midst of your trials, and God will never let you down. We are going to continue with this Faith Series tomorrow by continue exploring the life of the Father of Faith, Abraham.

****Morning Prayer****

Pray this prayer with me by faith and God is going to answer your prayer....

Dear Heavenly Father, I will put my faith in you in the midst of my trials. I know that all things will work together for my own good and all things will be alright. In Jesus' Name, Amen.

OVERCOME UNBELIEF BY FAITH

And not being weak in faith, he did not consider his own body, already dead (since he was about a hundred years old), and the deadness of Sarah’s womb. He did not waver at the promise of God through unbelief, but was strengthened in faith, giving glory to God, and being fully convinced that what He had promised He was also able to perform. And therefore “it was accounted to him for righteousness.”

Romans 4:19-22 NKJV

Since the day I have started writing this series of faith; I have been facing opposition from the enemy. I find myself even sometimes unable to write. I know that God wants us to walk by faith and not by sight. The enemy knows that if we will know the secret of walking by faith then will be able to unlock all closed doors in our lives.

Abraham believed God, and it was counted to him as righteousness. His faith to God paid off, and in due time Isaac was born. It was not an easy process trusting God for the impossible given the fact Sarah passed child bearing age. Still Abraham believed God and did not waver at the promise of God through unbelief, but was strengthened in faith, giving glory to God.

We have been talking about faith, we have been giving different examples and we have looked the life of our father of faith Abraham. Still after all of this you may be struggling with the spirit of unbelief. The disciples of Jesus saw all the miracles that Jesus did before their own eyes but they still experienced this state of unbelief. The Scriptures says, “Then the disciples came to Jesus privately and said, “Why could we not cast it out?” So Jesus said to them, “Because of your unbelief; for assuredly, I say to you, if you have faith as a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you. (Matthew 17:19-20)

This morning, I rebuke the spirit of unbelief in you. If you hear the word of God, you see the miracles of Christ but still there is something in you that keep on doubting the works of God; then know you are walking in unbelief. I believe we are living in a generation that has heard and seen things of God than any other generation. God has raised many good teachers, faith healers and miracle doers who preach the Gospel of God in all reverence and humility.

We have Christian Television that shows the things that God is doing among His people throughout the world. People are being born again everyday in every part of this world. In those countries which forbid Christianity still God is revealing Himself in different ways such as through Satellite TVs and Radio broadcasting; and people believe in Jesus. Don't allow the unbelief to cloud your knowledge of the truth in Christ Jesus. Let the Lord be the Lord of everything in this life.  We are going to continue with this Faith Series tomorrow by continue exploring the life of the Father of Faith, Abraham.

****Morning Prayer****

Pray this prayer with me by faith and God is going to answer your prayer....

Dear Heavenly Father, help me to overcome every impurities of unbelief in me by the faith I have in my Lord Jesus Christ. In Jesus' Name, Amen.

Morning with Ebenezer

HAVE FAITH IN HIS PROMISES

Then one of them said, “I will surely return to you about this time next year, and Sarah your wife will have a son.”

Now Sarah was listening at the entrance to the tent, which was behind him. Abraham and Sarah were already very old, and Sarah was past the age of childbearing. So Sarah laughed to herself as she thought, “After I am worn out and my lord is old, will I now have this pleasure?”

Then the Lord said to Abraham, “Why did Sarah laugh and say, ‘Will I really have a child, now that I am old?’ Is anything too hard for the Lord? I will return to you at the appointed time next year, and Sarah will have a son.”

Genesis 18:10-14 NIV

Sarah was past the age of childbearing and the Lord came with the promise of the child. When Sarah heard this the first time she laughed because she didn't believe if that will be possible. Then the Lord said to Abraham, “Why did Sarah laugh and say, ‘Will I really have a child, now that I am old?’ Is anything too hard for the Lord? I will return to you at the appointed time next year, and Sarah will have a son.”

It was the promise of God that changed the history of this world. The child who was born continued the lineage that brought forth our Lord Jesus Christ. Then we see in chapter 21 on the book of Genesis the Lord visited Sarah as He had spoken. For Sarah conceived and bore Abraham a son in his old age, at the set time of which God had spoken to him. And Abraham called the name of his son who was born to him—whom Sarah bore to him—Isaac.

Abraham received his promise in an old age, but he rejoiced the fact that God was faithful. Maybe you are waiting for a certain promise of God in your life. It may be possible you are just like Sarah; you have believed God for a child for a while now. Some of you believe God for certain miracles in your life. It may be healing miracles, financial breakthrough, reconciliation or salvation for loved ones.

This morning, I want to encourage you to have faith on God's promise over your life. He has given us many promises in the Scriptures that if we walk right before Him we will receive them. I don't know what kind of things you want to receive from God that are written in the Bible; but I know that God is able and willing to give them to you freely if you will trust Him.

There are those personal promises that God gave us in different periods of our lives. Some of these promises seem to be unattainable because of the way we see our environments, where we came from and what we have right now in life. I'm here to encourage you that God will do it, no matter how you life looks like right now. He will surely do it; you just keep on trusting Him. We are going to continue with this Faith Series tomorrow by continue exploring the life of the Father of Faith, Abraham.

****Morning Prayer****

Pray this prayer with me by faith and God is going to answer your prayer....

Dear Heavenly Father, I know you will fulfill all the promises that You have given me. Help me to continue walking by faith before You. In Jesus' Name, Amen.

HAVE FAITH IN THE BLOOD

When Abram was ninety-nine years old, the Lord appeared to Abram and said to him, “I am Almighty God; walk before Me and be blameless.  And I will make My covenant between Me and you, and will multiply you exceedingly.”  Then Abram fell on his face, and God talked with him, saying: “As for Me, behold, My covenant is with you, and you shall be a father of many nations. No longer shall your name be called Abram, but your name shall be Abraham; for I have made you a father of many nations.

Genesis 17:1-5 NKJV

Many things happened in Abraham life that is recorded in the Book of Genesis starting chapter 12. He passed through many different things in life, but he endured them all while trusting God in everything. When he was ninety-nine years old, the Lord appeared to Abram and said to him, I am Almighty God; walk before Me and be blameless.  And I will make My covenant between Me and you, and will multiply you exceedingly.”

God wanted Abraham to walk blameless before Him. Then He will make His covenant between Him and Abraham, and He will multiply him exceedingly. All these promises came to pass and Abraham was faithful before the LORD God. He promised him that he will be the Father of many nations, and changed his name from Abram to be Abraham, and made him the father of many nations.

Remember this time Isaac was not yet born, Ishmael was born through Hagar who was Sarah maidservant. Still God wanted to give Abraham a son through Sarah, and that he may inherit the covenant that God established with Abraham. God is the God of covenants, and He has made a covenant with us through Christ Jesus. You are required to have faith in Him that you may walk in the covenant of God in Christ Jesus.

This morning, I want to encourage you to walk by faith in the covenant that God has given you in Christ Jesus. There is a covenant of blood of Jesus in your life, the blood that has cleans us from all sin. It has set us free from the curse of law, and give us the peace we desperately need in our lives.

Oh, the blood of Jesus! It washes white as snow. You need to put your faith in the blood, and know that it will do its perfect work in your life. God will make sure the blood of His Son protects you all the way and break every chain and bondage of the enemy in your life. Have faith in the blood today, have faith in the covenant of the blood of Jesus; and your life will never be the same.  We are going to continue with this Faith Series tomorrow by continue exploring the life of the Father of Faith, Abraham.

****Morning Prayer****

Pray this prayer with me by faith and God is going to answer your prayer....

Dear Heavenly Father, I thank You for the blood of your Son Jesus Christ. Lord I'm pleading the blood over my life; help me to keep the covenant of the blood in all the days of my life. In Jesus' Name, Amen.

GIVE BY FAITH

Then after Abram’s return from the defeat (slaughter) of Chedorlaomer and the kings who were with him, the king of Sodom went out to meet him at the Valley of Shaveh (that is, the King’s Valley). Melchizedek king of Salem (ancient Jerusalem) brought out bread and wine [for them]; he was the priest of God Most High.  And Melchizedek blessed Abram and said,

“Blessed (joyful, favored) be Abram by God Most High,
Creator and Possessor of heaven and earth;

And blessed, praised, and glorified be God Most High,
Who has given your enemies into your hand.”
And Abram gave him a tenth of all [the treasure he had taken in battle].

Genesis 14:17-20 AMP

There are many doctrines of giving out there until sometimes you can feel it's too much. Some preachers encourage people to give and sometimes you can feel like they are forcing people to give to their ministries. One thing I have learnt that it's biblical for us to give to God. Since we can't see God then we give our money, time and talents to the institution that Jesus left for us that His Church.

When you give your tithes and offerings to a Church or ministry; know you are giving it into God. Don't concentrate to look at a person who is receiving your offerings but give it by faith knowing that God is receiving it. If you want to prosper in financially, you need to learn to give to God knowing that God will bless you back for you generous giving.

Abraham gave tenth of all the treasure he had taken in battle after defeated five kings. He gave it to Melchizedek king of Salem (ancient Jerusalem) who brought out bread and wine for them at the Valley of Shaveh. Melchizedek is compared to Jesus because He is, first of all, by the translation of his name, king of righteousness, and then he is also king of Salem, which means king of peace. Without [any record of] father or mother, nor ancestral line, without [any record of] beginning of days (birth) nor ending of life (death), but having been made like the Son of God, he remains a priest without interruption and without successor.(Hebrews 7:2-3)

This morning, I want to encourage you to give by faith. Make sure you give your tithes and offering unto the Lord. Give for the Gospel, give to His minister that they may get enough resources they need to spread the Gospel to the lost. If you give with all of your heart, the Lord will bless you abundantly and give you peace in everything you do.

He will give your enemies in your hands and protect your family from every attack of the evil one. Learn to give by faith and Abraham did. Learn to give with all of your heart, and your financial situation will improve and you will see the increase in all areas of your life.

****Morning Prayer****

Pray this prayer with me by faith and God is going to answer your prayer....

Dear Heavenly Father, help me to give to you according to your command in Christ Jesus my Lord. In Jesus' Name, Amen.

Morning with Ebenezer

FAITH ALONE IS NOT ENOUGH

Abram traveled through the land as far as the site of the great tree of Moreh at Shechem. At that time the Canaanites were in the land. The Lord appeared to Abram and said, “To your offspring I will give this land.” So he built an altar there to the Lord, who had appeared to him.

Genesis 12:6-7 NIV

Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, and the evidence of things not seen. God foretold Abram before his name changed to be Abraham the things that will happen in his future and future of his descendants. He promised Abraham a land, he land that he gave him and his descendants forever.

Here God was not talking about spiritual land somewhere in the spiritual realm. God was talking about the actual peace of land in the Middle East of this present world. The Bible says, "Declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times the things that are not yet done, saying, My counsel shall stand, and I will do all my pleasure, Isaiah 46:10." The Eagle prophet Isaiah talked about this God who declare our end from the beginning. he says things that are not yet done, and make sure all that He says come to pass.

The promise that He gave to Abraham came to pass but there was a part that Abraham needed to play. He needed to trust God and wait for His promise to come to pass in his life. Many times we receive promises from God and we think that God will do everything for us. We think that we will never face opposition because God said that something will happen in their lives.

This morning, I want you to know that faith alone is not enough you need to put actions in order to receive your promise. You need to pray for your promise, discipline yourself and make sure that you wait for the Lord to fulfill it. Make sure you don't share your dreams with your dream killers and ask the Lord to bring the right people in your life who will help take you to the next level.

Make sure you pray for your promise, and make sure you study all things you need to know in the area that you think God is taking you. If you feel that God is calling you to be a doctor without borders then make sure you do well in medical school that you may become excellent doctor in the near future and help many who will need your help. We are going to continue with this Faith Series tomorrow by continue exploring the life of the Father of Faith, Abraham.

****Morning Prayer****

Pray this prayer with me by faith and God is going to answer your prayer....

Dear Heavenly Father, help me to put action into my faith while I'm waiting for your promise for my life to be fulfilled. In Jesus' Name, Amen.

Morning with Ebenezer

FEELING FORGOTTEN?

So Abram departed [in faithful obedience] as the Lord had directed him; and Lot [his nephew] left with him. Abram was seventy-five years old when he left Haran.  Abram took Sarai his wife and Lot his nephew, and all their possessions which they had acquired, and the people (servants) which they had acquired in Haran, and they set out to go to the land of Canaan.

Genesis 12:4-5 AMP

Maybe you are one of those people who have waited for something for a long time. You were once so excited to receive it; but now you have reached a point where you have given up hope that you will receive that thing again. Abram departed from his family when he was seventy-five years old. In other words he lived the first 74 years old being prepared to fulfill his purpose that started when he was 75.

We have sisters in the Church who kept themselves and waited for a good man to come around. They believed God in the first year, second, third, seventh, and at the result some of them now are in the tenth year and that brother hasn't come yet. These sisters used to speak those words of faith, like, “next year I will get married just wait and see”. Some even bought weeding gowns as the sign of faith before they even got the husband.

We have brothers who have been looking for good jobs that they may support their families. They went to school and they have good certificates; but they ended up settling for low paying jobs that they may make the ends meet. As time goes by you continue to be frustrated because it seems like God has forgotten you completely.

This morning, hear the word of the Lord, "God hasn't forgotten you". He will never leave you nor forsake you. He was with Abraham in his old age; He will be with you in all season of your life. If you have faith in Him, then the husband you have been waiting for will come. If you have faith in Him, that job you have believed God for, will come.

It doesn't matter how long you have been waiting for God to answer your prayers. I'm here to encourage you that soon very soon you will receive the answers to your prayers. God has heard your cries and He will come down to wipe away your tears. Do not give up on God, because He will not give up on you. He is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us. We are going to continue with this Faith Series tomorrow by continue exploring the life of the Father of Faith, Abraham.

****Morning Prayer****

Pray this prayer with me by faith and God is going to answer your prayer....

Dear Heavenly Father, I thank You for your word. Lord I'm asking that you may help me to wait on You. Wait for your promise knowing that You are faithful God; soon you will come to fulfill all what You have spoken over my life. In Jesus' Name, Amen.

BREEDING GROUND

The Lord had said to Abram, “Go from your country, your people and your father’s household to the land I will show you.

“I will make you into a great nation,
    and I will bless you;
I will make your name great,
and you will be a blessing.
I will bless those who bless you,
    and whoever curses you I will curse;
and all peoples on earth
    will be blessed through you.”

Genesis 12:1-3 NIV

Yesterday we saw how Abraham obeyed God by leaving his home country; and go where God wanted him to go. After he obeyed the voice of the Lord; God started giving him promises and directions. He told him his life purpose and the blessings that will follow him along the way.

We see in the verse two of the book of Genesis God says the following, “I will make you into a great nation, and I will bless you; I will make your name great, and you will be a blessing. I will bless those who bless you, and whoever curses you I will curse; and all peoples on earth will be blessed through you.”

God said He would make Abraham a great nation, then He would bless him; make his name great, and he would be a blessing. He then said he would bless those who bless him, and whoever curses him, God would curse; and all peoples on earth will be blessed through Abraham. Here God was talking about the Nation of Israel that came from Abraham. The nation of Israel has blessed the world in many different ways throughout the history and the savior of the world came from her. Then he warned whoever curse the seed of Abraham, will be cursed. In other words whoever curses Israel regardless how close he thinks he is to God. He will be cursed, but whoever blesses Israel, he will be blessed too.

This morning, I want you to know faith is the breeding ground for promises of God to be fulfilled in your life. Abraham believed God, he had faith in Him; and in due time God fulfilled all what He said about him and his descendants. God said through Abraham all peoples on earth including you and I will be blessed. This promise has been fulfilled in Christ Jesus; His death on the Cross and resurrection from the dead brought us forth salvation that is obtained by faith in Him.

Jesus, who is the seed of Abraham, came to save all humanity. Now salvation is obtained freely to all of those who believe. Morning with Ebenezer

FAITHFUL ABRAHAM

By faith Abraham obeyed when he was called to go out to the place which he would receive as an inheritance. And he went out, not knowing where he was going.

Hebrews 11:8 NKJV

Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, and the evidence of things not seen. We have been looking this subject of faith for a while now. I haven't written about it for quite some time now, because of some things that were beyond my reach; but I thank God now we will continue with our daily Morning with Ebenezer messages.

Last time I said we will continue with this subject of faith by exploring the life of Abraham. We see in the Genesis 12 God calls Abraham, in that time his was still Abram before God changed it to Abraham in chapter 17 of the Book of Genesis. The Lord said, “Go away from your country, and from your relatives and from your father’s house. To the land which I will show you. (Genesis 12:1)

In those days there were no maps, GPS or the internet that you can go and Google a certain country. Maybe get some information about it and even see some parts of its landscape. Abraham put his faith to God who knew the country that he was going; God asked him to forsake all what he ever knew and his whole of his father's house and go where God will make him a great nation. So Abraham came out of Ur of the Chaldeans that is the present day Iraq, and he headed to Canaan that is parts of Lebanon, Syria, Jordan and Israel.

This morning, I want to encourage you to obey the voice of the Lord by faith. Maybe you are in a certain relationship and you feel like the Lord is directing you to leave that person and move on with your life. You may fear to do so because you think you may end up alone. I want to encourage you to obey the voice of the Lord and leave whatever you think is so important to you knowing that God has better things for you.

Maybe God called you in the ministry, if He spoke with you that it’s time for you to start a family.  Maybe God wants you to leave your local Church behind and start going to another one. You don't need to fight with the voice of the Lord; you just obey it and let the Lord do the rest. We are going to continue with this Faith Series tomorrow by continue exploring the life of the Father of Faith, Abraham.

****Morning Prayer****

Pray this prayer with me by faith and God is going to answer your prayer....

Dear Heavenly Father, help me to obey You in all seasons of my life even if you are asking me to do things that will take me out of my comfort zone. In Jesus' Name, Amen.

Morning with Ebenezer

SPEAK FAITH

(As it is written [in Scripture], “I have made you a father of many nations”) in the sight of Him in whom he believed, that is, God who gives life to the dead and calls into being that which does not exist.

Romans 4:17 AMP

One of the strong weapons that will help you to undo your default settings is your words. The Bible says, "The tongue can bring death or life; those who love to talk will reap the consequences."If you have been affected by the things your fore fathers or parents did in the past; then you need to set yourself free from those things by using your words.

Through our mouth we can speak life or death, and whenever we speak we need to be careful to speak life and give no room to death. You need to learn to speak against your situation by faith, when you go before God in prayers you need to speak what you want to see in your life in near future. We are serving the God who gives life to the dead, including all dead things, dreams, goals, situations and purposes in life.

God then calls into being that which does not exist as though they did. God wants you to call that future you have seen in your vision into life. He wants you to refuse being the victim of the default settings of your family, tribe or nation. He wants you to go beyond your comfort zone and breakthrough the limitations of your word.

This morning, I want to encourage you to speak the words of faith over your life. You are not a looser! I'm saying this daily and I will always say that there is a place for you in this world. You have the mind of Christ and you can do anything that you see anybody out there is doing. You need to believe in the abilities that God has given you in Christ Jesus; believe that you were born to make a difference and add something unique in this world.

I see a great person in you, I see someone who will change this world. I see someone who will write a new story of your family. God is going to use you to bring deliverance that is desperately needed by your family members. Start making those changes today by faith and God is going to answer your prayers. We are going to continue with this Faith Series tomorrow by start exploring the life of the Father of Faith, Abraham.

****Morning Prayer****

Pray this prayer with by faith and God is going to answer your prayer....
