Morning with Ebenezer

DO NOT LOVE THE WORLD

Stop loving this evil world and all that it offers you, for when you love these things you show that you do not really love God; for all these worldly things, these evil desires—the craze for sex, the ambition to buy everything that appeals to you, and the pride that comes from wealth and importance—these are not from God. They are from this evil world itself. And this world is fading away, and these evil, forbidden things will go with it, but whoever keeps doing the will of God will live forever.

1 John 2:15-17 TLB

There are some of us who were born again in our tender ages and raised in the church.

We have been walking with the Lord since our childhood and we have seen the hand of the Lord taking us glory to glory in each new day of our lives.

If someone comes and ask us; we have many testimonies to tell about the goodness and faithfulness of God in our lives. As days go by we find ourselves in a pressure of trying to taste some things of the world that we have been missing for years. Sometimes we meet people who don't believe in the God of Jesus Christ; and who may convince us to try new way of life or do things that against with what we have been taught.

In the mean time there are maybe a certain kind of curiosity inside of us of trying to do things that we know for sure are against the will of God in our lives. The devil will keep fighting that he may at least tempt us to do some things that they may take us away from that straight line we have been following for years.

This morning, I'm here to ask you to stop loving this evil world and all that it offers you. The world can offer you a lot of things that they may seem to be good in appearance but you will end up in pain and regrets. If Jesus saved you from sin long time ago; then you need to continue walking in Him and stop looking on the people and things of this world.

People of this world they may portray happiness and show off their successes but this doesn't prove that they are right. Your walk with the Lord maybe slow and sometimes not that excited like the way of this world. But you need to understand at the end of the day you will end up in safe side; while all who denied Jesus in this life will perish forever. Love God and stay away from evil; this world will pass and everything in it but if you will do the will of the Lord you will live forever.

****Morning Prayer****

Pray this prayer with me by faith and God is going to answer your prayer....

Dear Heavenly Father, I'm coming before You asking that You may give me strength to love You more and more in my life. Stay away from evil and keep myself from being polluted by the world. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
