Morning with Ebenezer

WE HAVE JESUS

Seeing then that we have a great High Priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our confession. For we do not have a High Priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but was in all points tempted as we are, yet without sin. Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.

Hebrews 4:14-16 NKJV

Jesus was in all point tempted as we are, He did not sin. He lived the same world that all of us are living and faced the same kind of hardships that we all face. This Jesus not only studied and understood the nature of human being; but also felt it from Himself because He was also a man.

He came with the mission and fulfilled His mission with triumph by defeating Satan and save the whole humanity from the bondage of sin. When He rose from dead, He told His disciples to wait to the promise of the Father. This promise was the Holy Spirit of God, who will come to be the Helper, Counselor, and Advocate; and to stay with the Church of Jesus Christ forever

He did not leave us orphans; He left the Helper to help us to live our Christian life. He knew that we wouldn't make by ourselves in this life; He knew that we have the nature of weakness and we needed something to encourage us along the way. He did not live a man behind but instead He left the Third of Personal of Godhead to be with us forever.

This morning, I want to encourage you to go to Jesus that you may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need. If you have any need in your life right now; you need to take that need to Jesus Himself and not to people. Maybe you have those who you trust and you think that they will come to rescue in the day of your need; but only Jesus will understand the width and length and depth and height of your need.

No matter what takes in your life you need to know that You have Jesus. And Jesus is not a man, that He should lie, or a son of man, that He should change His mind towards you. If you go to Him by faith and ask Him about your needs; He will provide them according to His riches and glory. He will act according to His word that He may fulfill all what He has said in the Scriptures towards His glorious Church in this world.

Pray this prayer with me by faith and God is going to answer your prayer....

Dear Heavenly Father, I thank You for your Son, thank You for your Spirit; thank You for saving me from sin and thank You for the gift of this life. Lord I commit all my needs into your hands; I'm asking that You may meet them according to your riches and glory in Christ Jesus my Lord. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
