PRAY
Pray without
ceasing.
1 Thessalonians 5:17 KJV
Jesus told His disciples that they should
pray that they may not enter into temptations. In other words when we pray we
get the grace we need to prevent us entering into different temptations. These
temptations maybe things that caused you to error before you knew the Lord.
Maybe you had some weakness when it comes
to women, and you found yourself falling into sin every now and then. The only
thing that will sustain you in the present and prevent you from repeating the
same mistakes you made before you knew the Lord is prayers. If you pray without
ceasing then the devil will not have a chance to dominate you on that weakness.
It doesn't matter if you were drinking
until you lose your conscience or fighting with your spouse and reject every
good advice from people. Prayer will help you to live a righteous life before
the Lord and prevent you to return into your old self that committed sin before
the Lord.
This morning, I just want to encourage you
to pray. You need to pray always if you want to live a victorious life in
Christ Jesus. You will overcome sin, walk above your fears and get the victory
you need in the hour of temptations.
Learn to solve your problems on your
knees, when you pray and tell God about your problems. He is faithful; He will
answer you and get you out from anything that makes you uncomfortable in life.
Prayer works, if you want to see the hand of God in your life then you need to
be a man or woman of prayer.

Dear Heavenly Father, I pray that I may
live the life of prayers in all the days of my life. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
