Morning with Ebenezer

THE SON OF GOD

The Son is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. For in him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things have been created through him and for him.  He is before all things, and in him all things hold together. And he is the head of the body, the church; he is the beginning and the firstborn from among the dead, so that in everything he might have the supremacy.

Colossians 1:15-18 NIV

Jesus changed the history of this world. You can just take a moment and imagine the world without Jesus. Just imagine if He wouldn't come and die there on the old rugged cross. How the world would looks like until now?

There would be no Christians and we would be still under the bondage of sin up to this day. But thanks are to God who in the fullness of time sent Jesus to die for my sins, your sins and the sins of the rest of the world. He brought to us the law of love that transformed the understanding of mere man up to this day.

Many scholars have called Jesus different names and put Him in different positions that they thought would be comfortable for them. The Bible calls Him the Son of God and God. The Bible says all things have been given to Him by the Father; all things have been created through him and for him. He is before all things, and in Him all things hold together. Whoa!

This morning, I want you to take a moment and magnify the name of Jesus with me; let us exalt His name together for He is worthy to be praised. Thank Him for all what He has done in your life. Thank Him for the gift of the Holy Spirit that He left to us when He ascended to the Father. Thank Him for the blood of Jesus that cleanses us, protects us and gives us peace. (Psalm 34:3)

I want to encourage you to seek the Lord, make Him to be the center of your life. The name of the Lord is a strong tower, the righteous run to it and is safe. If you will run to Jesus when you face any situation in your life, then you will be safe. Jesus will give you a blessed consolation in every situation that will come in your way. (Proverbs 18:10)

****Morning Prayer****

Pray this prayer with me by faith and God is going to answer your prayer....

Dear Heavenly Father, I thank You for your Son Jesus. Lord I thank You for sending Him to die for our sins. Lord I praise your name because You are wonderful God and everything that You do is excellent. In Jesus' Name, Amen.

THE DOUBLE PORTION

Then the Lord heard the voice of Elijah; and the soul of the child came back to him, and he revived. And Elijah took the child and brought him down from the upper room into the house, and gave him to his mother. And Elijah said, “See, your son lives!”
Then the woman said to Elijah, “Now by this I know that you are a man of God, and that the word of the Lord in your mouth is the truth.”

1 Kings 17:22-24 NKJV

We read about people who walked with the Lord in the Bible. In the Book of Genesis there was a man called Enoch who walked faithfully with God; then he was no more, because God took him away. We hear again about Enoch in the book of Jude; here Jude tells about how Enoch prophesied about the second coming of Christ and the judgment that will be upon ungodly people. (Genesis 5:24, Jude 1:12-15)

Then we read about Noah, Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Joseph, Moses, Joshua and without forgetting Gedion, Barak, Samson, Jephthah, David, Samuel and the prophets. There are major and minor prophets but in the book of Kings we read about a Prophet named Elijah; who was taken up God by a chariot of fire with horses of fire and Elijah ascended in a wind storm to heaven.

God used Elijah in the mighty way when he was still living on this earth; Elijah did 8 miracles and Elisha his spiritual son did twice of Elijah miracles because he received the spirit of double portion from Elijah. These are the miracles which Elijah did before he was taken to heaven:

1. I Kings 17:1 NO RAIN FOR 3 1/2 YEARS Authority with nature.
2. I Kings 17:14 MEAL AND OIL FAILED NOT Food supply to sustain life.
3. I Kings 17:22 RAISED THE DEAD - WIDOW’S SON. Healing and restoration.
4. I Kings 18:38-40 Mt. CARMEL. CLEANUP OF THE PROPHETS OF BAAL. Religion has to go!
5. I Kings 18:41 RAIN RELEASED After ‘Baal’ cleaned up.
6. II Kings 1:10 ANTI-GOD ARMY - FIRST 50 CONSUMED BY FIRE. False (in spirit) revivals!!!
7. II Kings 1:12, 14 SECOND JUDGMENT OF 50.
8. II Kings 2:8 JORDAN OPENED. Veil split so that all may enter into the land of promise.

This morning, I want to prophecy to you that you may receive a double portion anointing from God in your life that came down from Elijah. May the LORD God bless you in the field, and bless you in the city. May He sustain you and your loved ones with enough food to eat; may He heals you and your family and restore all what the enemy has stolen in your lives.

May He break the chains of religion in your family that your loved ones may receive Jesus as the Lord and Savior of their lives. May He deliver everyone in your circle of influence who is still possessed by demons and oppressed by the devil. May He cast away every kind of false beliefs in your family line and make you to see His glory in this life and the life to come.

****Morning Prayer****

Pray this prayer with me by faith and God is going to answer your prayer....

Dear Heavenly Father, I thank You for your word. Lord I receive the double portion anointing in my life by faith in your Son Jesus Christ. Lord I pray that the anointing may break every yoke and loose every chain in my life. In Jesus' Name, Amen.

Morning with Ebenezer

IT WAS THE GRACE

At that time Jesus, full of joy through the Holy Spirit, said, “I praise you, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because you have hidden these things from the wise and learned, and revealed them to little children. Yes, Father, for this is what you were pleased to do.

Luke 10:21 NIV

Maybe you were raised in the family that knew the Lord and guided you in the way of the Lord. There are some of us who came from religious backgrounds; we did not understand the whole truth; but at least we had a surface picture when it comes to the things of God.

It didn't take much for us to shift from our religions to understand the Gospel of truth when God revealed His amazing grace to us. We hear some Christians who were highly tempted; because they came from parts of the world that didn't believe in Jesus. Some came from families that worshiped idols or had been involving themselves in satanic worships.

You may take for granted the knowledge that you got through the Holy Scriptures and the freedom that you have in Christ. There are many people who wished they could get what you are getting; but they don't have the same access as you. If you look around the world no all people understand the word of God; many are doing things that you may have been said to yourself that you will never do. The difference between you and people who don't know God is the revelation that you have been given in Christ Jesus.

This morning, I want you to know that it was the grace of God that saved you from your corrupted life which you once had. This is the grace which made Jesus to rejoice in the Holy Spirit, praising the Father, Lord heaven and earth, because He has hidden these things from the wise and learned, and revealed them to little children like you and I.

I have seen many intelligent men and women who don't want to hear anything about Jesus. I wonder how in the world their intelligence doesn't help them to understand that there is life after this life. Many believe there is no more life after death, and those who believe there is life; they believe in different false doctrines about afterlife.

I want you to take a moment to thank God for what He has revealed to you in Christ Jesus our Lord and Savior. Thank Him for His loving-kindness and that He has given assurance through His Son Jesus Christ that even if you will die today; you will go to be with the Lord in heaven.

****Morning Prayer****

Pray this prayer with me by faith and God is going to answer your prayer....

Dear Heavenly Father, I thank You for the message of the cross that have changed my life. I know it is your grace that has brought me this far. Lord I'm asking that You may help me to continue walking in the faithfulness; while I'm patiently waiting for the Second Advent of your Son Jesus Christ. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

Morning with Ebenezer

ARE YOU TOUCHED?

Jesus was indignant. He reached out his hand and touched the man. “I am willing,” he said. “Be clean!”  Immediately the leprosy left him and he was cleansed.

Mark 1:41-42 NIV

People who have been touched with Spirit of God do things that natural man can't understand. We hear testimonies of people who left their professional careers and went to serve the Lord by faith.

There are people who crucified their egos and went into the streets to preach the Gospel. Others gave their fortunes for the work of ministry; and they didn't care how people thought of them. We have many in the body of Christ who give their tithes and offerings that the work of ministry may continue.

If I wasn't been touched by the Spirit of God it would be very difficult for me to understand many things of God. I was asking myself how in the world people in the Spirit filled Churches cry while praying. I didn't understand why they need to shout from bottom of their lungs when they pray. I was asking myself why tears came out their eyes during worship services.

This morning, I want to ask you if you are touched. Do you still have questions when it comes to the things of God? Do you still walk in your parents religious values and deny the salvation which is found in Christ Jesus our Lord?

If you haven't been touched yet; then ask Jesus to touch your soul today. Ask Him to send His living to flow over your soul; ask Him to let His Holy Spirit take control over your life. You will never understand how it feels to walk in the Spirit until you experience it yourself. I pray that the Lord may touch you in mighty way in your life.

 ****Morning Prayer****

Pray this prayer with me by faith and God is going to answer your prayer....

Dear Father, I'm asking that You may touch my heart. Rekindle the fire within me ooh Lord. Help me to walk in victory and power of your Holy Spirit. In Jesus' Name, Amen.

Morning with Ebenezer

LOOKING UNTO JESUS

looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.

Hebrews 12:2 NKJV

The Psalmist David says; some nations boast of armies and of weaponry, but our boast is in the Lord our God, 20:7. David knew the Lord; he knew He is the only one who would bring true victory to nation of Israel over her enemies. While other were boasting for their vast armies and advanced weapons of that day; David fixed his eyes unto the Lord.

Later the author of the book of Hebrews taught us to keep our eyes on Jesus; the leader and instructor of our faith. This Jesus who was willing to die a shameful death on the cross because of the joy he knew would be his afterwards; and now he sits in the place of honor by the throne of God. This Jesus sacrificed His life that He may save my life and your life. He died there on the cross that He may take away the sin of this world.

When we keep our eyes on Jesus, we get the opportunity to learn His ways. One of the noticeable things is His character; the way He loved His people unconditionally and treat everyone equally. He was not a respecter of a person; He healed, delivered and forgave all who went to Him by faith regardless their classes in the society. He led by example and when He taught about love; He taught something that was manifested through His personal life and His message was powerful and forever it will be.

This morning, I want to encourage you fix your eyes on Jesus. You may be an educated person, successful in your career and have already achieved many goals of your life. You may sometimes feel like everything is fine and there is no need for you to be more religious because you are already a good person. I'm here to tell you that you need Jesus more than anything regardless of your success in life.

All those things that make you proud may vanish in a second; and all that network of people you have in your life may disappear within a minute. But our Lord Jesus will be with you in every stage of your life until the end if you will put your trust in Him. We all need Jesus, there is life after this life; and Jesus is the only one who has a ticket for the afterlife. If you have Him in your life, then you will be guaranteed the immortal life while you are still in this mortal body.

****Morning Prayer****

Pray this prayer with me by faith and God is going to answer your prayer....

Dear Heavenly Father, I will fix my eyes on your Son Jesus Christ. Lord help me to live like the way He lived in this world. Help me to love like the way He loved us and be willing to sacrifices His life for sake of the lost world. In Jesus' Name, Amen.

GOSSIP

Create in me a clean heart, O God,
And renew a steadfast spirit within me.
Do not cast me away from Your presence,
And do not take Your Holy Spirit from me.
Restore to me the joy of Your salvation,
And uphold me by Your generous Spirit.

Psalm 51:10-12 NKJV

Many of the times we like to point fingers to others; telling about their weaknesses and mistakes in life. Even in the body of Christ the sin of gossip is widespread; we like to talk about others people faults more than the way we like to talk about things of God.

There are those small groups in the church that tend to discuss brother so and so or sister so and so stuffs. When they are done they tend to pretend like they will pray for them while knowing that won't happen. One day someone said, gossip is like a secret craving. We say we don’t like it, but when it’s within reach, we almost can’t resist it. We get a sudden appetite to know what we don’t know… about somebody else.

The writer of the Book of Proverbs says; People love to hear gossip. It is like tasty food on its way to the stomach, Prov 18:8. Gossip does not only involve sharing the dirty details about a person's life just for fun; but it involves listening as well. The Bible says; Wrongdoers eagerly listen to gossip; liars pay close attention to slander, Proverbs 17:4.

This morning, ask God to create in you a clean heart, and renew a faithful spirit within you. Ask the Lord to help you in your weaknesses and struggles in life. Focus on your faults instead of looking other people faults and pass your judgment on them.

If you have sinned against the Lord, then God before Him asking for His forgiveness. Ask Him to give you strength to overcome whatsoever you are facing right now in life. Ask the Lord to deliver you and set you free from every kind of satanic bondage in your life.

****Morning Prayer****

Pray this prayer with me by faith and God is going to answer your prayer....

Dear Father, forgive me for gossiping. Lord I'm asking that You may help me to focus on You and how I will be able to obey your commandments in my life. Help me to seek your face more and more everyday instead of seeking others people things that won't profit me at all. In Jesus' Name, Amen.

Morning with Ebenezer

ONCE SAVED ALWAYS SAVED

“But when a righteous man turns away from his righteousness and commits iniquity, and does according to all the abominations that the wicked man does, shall he live? All the righteousness which he has done shall not be remembered; because of the unfaithfulness of which he is guilty and the sin which he has committed, because of them he shall die.

Ezekiel 18:24 NKJV

There are people who believe in the doctrine which says; once someone is saved, he will always remain saved. Shortly is known as once saved always saved; they believe that the grace of God is so powerful to allow the people who were saved by Jesus to lose their salvation.

These teachers encourage people to live their lives and even if they will commit things which are against the word of life; they will receive pardon from God because He will never let them die in sin. I believe in the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, I believe that there is a forgiveness of sin; and that we receive salvation freely by faith but I also believe that each one of us can lose that salvation.

The Bible says, if a righteous man turns away from his righteousness and commits iniquity, and does according to all the abominations that the wicked man does, and then it asks, shall he live? Here the Bible gives us the picture of a born again believer, who received Jesus and walked in His ways. Later this believer changed and started doing things that are not God's. Shall he inherit the kingdom of God?

Then the Bible answers by saying; all the righteousness which he has done shall not be remembered; because of the unfaithfulness of which he is guilty and the sin which he has committed, because of them he shall die. This means that even if you received Jesus, filled by the Holy Ghost and do the work of ministry; if you will not hold what the Lord has given you until the end. You will find yourself loosing it all and end up in the hell of fire.

This morning, I want you to know that you can lose your salvation if you will not be faithful until the end. If you want to be counted worth to inherit that coming Kingdom of our Lord Jesus Christ then be faithful in all of your ways. Don't be that servant who said in his heart, ‘My master is delaying his coming,’ and begins to beat the male and female servants, and to eat and drink and be drunk, Luke 12:45.

Jesus continues by saying: the master of that servant will come on a day when he is not looking for him, and at an hour when he is not aware, and will cut him in two and appoint him his portion with the unbelievers, Luke 12:46. If you want to inherit the kingdom of heaven; then you need to continue staying faithful in all of your doings waiting the Lord to come and take you in His Father's house.

****Morning Prayer****

Pray this prayer with me by faith and God is going to answer your prayer....

Dear Father, I have learnt that there is possibility of losing my salvation if I will not be faithful until the end. Lord I'm asking that You may help me to walk in faithfulness everyday; help me to grow in the Lord Jesus Christ while keeping the word of truth in my heart. In Jesus' Name, Amen.

Morning with Ebenezer

FEAR THE LORD

For God is not unjust so as to forget your work and the love which you have shown toward His name, in having ministered and in still ministering to the saints.

Hebrews 6:10 NASB

Serving the Lord may be considered as wasting of time by others. Many do evil things and still continue to live without a problem. We see people who don't know God succeed in many areas of life; and still ignore God and do things according to the dictate of their own hearts.

Sometimes even Christians have asked themselves what advantage they get when they worship God. What do they gain crying like people at a funeral to show they are sorry for their sins? They think wicked people are happy and they do evil things to test God's patience, and God does not punish them.

Prophet Malachi says there were people who doubted to worship God in his days. They envied wicked people success and thought God forget about them. In the mean time there was another group who feared and worshiped God and the Bible says the following about them. Then those who feared and loved the Lord spoke often of him to each other. And he had a Book of Remembrance drawn up in which he recorded the names of those who feared him and loved to think about him. (Malachi 3:16)

This morning, I want to encourage you to continue fearing the Lord. I want to encourage you to continue worshiping the true God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob; and the Father of Jesus Christ. Jesus is coming soon, keep hold on to the faith you have, so that no one can take away your crown. The eyes of the Lord watch over those who do right, and His ears are open to their prayers.

You need to know that if you will cry before God, He will hear you and answer your prayers. He will write your name in His Book of Remembrance which He recorded the names of those who feared Him and loved to think about Him. If you serve and love the Lord, then know that your labor is not in vain; God is not unjust so as to forget your work and the love which you have shown toward His name. In His time, He will lift you up from garbage dump and sets you among princes, placing you in seats of honor.

****Morning Prayer****

Pray this prayer with me by faith and God is going to answer your prayer....

Dear Father, I thank You for your word. Lord I will continue walking in the truth of your word; keep me true Lord Jesus that I may be able to live a spotless and blameless life before You. In Jesus' Name, Amen.

PRAY FOR YOUR FAMILY

But if you refuse to serve the Lord, then choose today whom you will serve. Would you prefer the gods your ancestors served beyond the Euphrates? Or will it be the gods of the Amorites in whose land you now live? But as for me and my family, we will serve the Lord.”

Joshua 24:15 NLT

The area of a family is where the devil fights hard to get control over it. We all face different problems in our families; we have things that bother us in every angle of our families. Many times we remember to pray for many things; but we tend to forget praying for our families.

Many members of our families don't know God. Some believe in witchcraft, consult mediums and wizards; and sacrifices their sons and daughters to the demons. We have many members of our families who are bound by religious spirits; and don't want to hear anything about Jesus.

There are those who don't believe about salvation which is found in our Lord Jesus Christ. They believe that you cannot be saved in this world; you need to die first that you may be saved. This is the lie that the devil has been spreading in religious system but in the reality the Bible says: And just as each person is destined to die once and after that comes judgment, Hebrews 9:27.

This morning, I want to encourage you to pray for your family. If you real love your family and you want to see nothing but best in them; then you need to spend enough time in prayers praying for their salvation. It will be wonderful in heaven if all members of your family will be there with you.

If you will not pray for them and share with them the word of God; then they may end up in hell of fire. God has placed you in that particular family that you may be a light and salt among them. If you have Jesus in you; then ask Him to give you wisdom to share with them the word of God that they may believe what you believe.

****Morning Prayer****

Pray this prayer with me by faith and God is going to answer your prayer....

Dear Heavenly Father, I'm asking that You may give me strength to pray for my family. Lord I'm asking that You may save each member of my family. Grant them the salvation that is found in Christ Jesus our Lord and Savior. In Jesus' Name, Amen.

Morning with Ebenezer

HE WATCHES OVER YOU

I look up to the mountains—
does my help come from there?
My help comes from the Lord,
    who made heaven and earth!
He will not let you stumble;
the one who watches over you will not slumber.
Indeed, he who watches over Israel
    never slumbers or sleeps.

Psalm 121:1-4 NLT

The Bible assures us that God in heaven is watching over us. Just imagine His eye is on your every step that you are making, decisions, places that you go; and thoughts that you think. He watches over your current affairs and He knows all that will take place in your future.

When the Psalmist David looked up to the mountains, he saw no help from there. Then he realized that his help comes from the Lord who made heaven and earth. He never slumbers or sleeps, the prophet Isaiah puts this way:  Have you never heard? Have you never understood? The Lord is the everlasting God, the Creator of all the earth. He never grows weak or weary. No one can measure the depths of his understanding. (Isaiah 40:28)

Our Lord Jesus Christ said; “What is the price of five sparrows—two copper coins? Yet God does not forget a single one of them.  And the very hairs on your head are all numbered. So don’t be afraid; you are more valuable to God than a whole flock of sparrows. If His eye is on the sparrow (small birds), then you need to be sure that He watches over you. The very hairs of your head are all numbered; so don't be afraid know that God is up there watching over you.

This morning, I want to encourage you to encourage yourself that God will be with you until the end of your life. I don't know the state of your life right now; I don't know your biggest obstacles in life. I don't know what things are bothering your mind right now; but I know that our God is more than willing to help you in whatsoever you are facing in life.

Put your trust in God, put your faith in God; He is the only true friend for you and He will never let you down. God will never disappoint you, if you will firmly trust Him with your life. There is still hope in Christ Jesus, fasten your seat belt, it's time to fly into your destiny. God will take you where He intended you to go since the foundations of this earth. He will set you before Kings and Queens if you will surrender you whole life to Him.

****Morning Prayer****

Pray this prayer with me by faith and God is going to answer your prayer....

Dear Father, I thank You for your Word. Lord I give myself away so that your will may be done in my life. My life is not my own to You I belong; may your will be done in my life. In Jesus' Name, Amen.

Morning with Ebenezer

LIVE FOR JESUS

In your relationships with one another, have the same mindset as Christ Jesus:
Who, being in very nature God, did not consider equality with God something to be used to his own advantage; rather, he made himself nothing by taking the very nature of a servant, being made in human likeness. And being found in appearance as a man, he humbled himself by becoming obedient to death—even death on a cross!

Philippians 2:5-8 NIV

We have many people who call themselves Christian but live against what the word of God says. These people pray, go to churches every week and participate in every religious activity; but their lives don't reflect what they believe.

These people treat others harshly and ignore the need of those who don't profit them anything. They like to be recognized as Christians and talk about Jesus; but their lives reflect another Gospel that is not God's. Being a Christian does not only consist having a Christian name, going to church and say to people that you are a believer.

Being a Christian involves living the life that Jesus commanded us to live. It involves loving our neighbor as the way we love ourselves. It involves our daily commitment to the Lord by living the life worth of our calling in Christ Jesus. This involves forgiving those who have wronged us and letting them go; and asking for forgiveness when we do harm to others intentionally or unintentionally.

This morning, I just want to encourage you to live for Jesus. You need to learn to preach Jesus both through your words and actions. Your personal life should reflect Jesus the crucified; you should live a true Gospel of Jesus through your actions. You need to set a good example to the new believers and those who are young in the faith of our Lord Jesus Christ.

People want to see the Jesus in you through your actions and not through your words alone. Even if you sing, preach, pray or used by God in mighty way; if you have a bad attitude then it's like buying white bed sheets while you are still sleeping in a charcoal bed. Your attitude should be the same with what was in Christ Jesus, who humbled Himself, became obedient to the point of death, even the death of the cross.

****Morning Prayer****

Pray this prayer with me by faith and God is going to answer your prayer....

Dear Father, I'm asking for forgiveness for treating others in the way that is not right before You. Lord I'm asking that You may help me to treat everyone right; as your word commands me to do. In Jesus' Name, Amen.

Morning with Ebenezer

HE IS THE LIAR

You are of your father the devil, and the desires of your father you want to do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaks a lie, he speaks from his own resources, for he is a liar and the father of it.

John 8:44 NKJV

Many times we allow our past to determine our future. We believe what people said about us and what people think about us rather than considering what God says about us. We allow to be affected by the opinions by other people which make us sad and unsure about ourselves.

We wait others to define us and believe what they say about us. Some have called us losers, and we believed them; and starting seeing ourselves as losers. Some have called us poor and we believed them; as the result we don't work hard to get ourselves better lives.

In the mean time the devil keeps on whispering lies in our ears. He says that we are not good enough, we are sinners and we will die in sin. He says that we won't mount up for anything good in our lives; and that we will continue with our struggles for the rest of our lives and God will not be able to help us.

This morning, I just want to remind you that the devil is the liar. He uses people to pass through his lies to us; and when those lies are being repeated over and over again we tend to believe them. These people tell us things and we end up believing them and live in them.

That's why God commanded us to these words in Joshua 1:8; This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success. If you meditate the word of God day and night, you will get to understand who you are in Christ; and the full will of God over your life and the lies of the devil will have no room in your mind.

****Morning Prayer****

Pray this prayer with me by faith and God is going to answer your prayer....

Dear Heavenly Father, I'm asking that You may help me to identify the lies of the enemy in my life and stand against them. Lord I will be according to what your word says I will be and do all what your word says I will do; according to your plan and purpose over my life. In Jesus' Name, Amen.

TRUST HIM MORE

Those who know your name trust in you, for you, O Lord, do not abandon those who search for you.

Psalm 9:10 NLT

Do you have Jesus in your heart? Do you trust Him? Do you know that He can do exceedingly and abundantly above all what we ask or think according to the power that works in us? Do you know that His thoughts are not your thoughts; neither your ways His ways? (Ephesians 3:20, Isaiah 55:8)

He loved you so much, that’s why He sent His only begotten Son to die for you there on the old rugged cross. He can do all things including those seemed to be impossible to you; and to the people who surrounds you. (John 3:16, Luke 1:37, Matthew 19:26)

The Scriptures tell us that we are being transformed into the same image of Jesus from glory to glory, which is from the Lord, who is the Spirit. This God works hard every day through the work of His Spirit inside of us to make sure that we walk according to His plan and purpose in our lives. When we go astray, He reminds us to repent and continue in His ways. (2 Corinthians 3:18, John 16:5-16)

This morning, I’m here to encourage you to trust Jesus more and more in your life. I know maybe somewhere in your life you have dared to trust somebody or a certain group of people. Maybe it was worth to trust that particular person or you end up in disappointment; and even regretted your decision to trust him/her. I’m here to tell you that if you will trust Jesus in your life; there is a guarantee of having no regrets in the future.

You need to learn to take His word in your heart, and rest upon His promise. He is going to fulfill every promise to you, if you will not give up on Him; because He won’t give up on you. Trust Him with your family, relatives and friends; trust Him with your future and know that He will make all things to work for your good if you will continue to love Him.

****Morning Prayer****

Pray this prayer with me by faith and God is going to answer your prayer….

Dear Father, I’m asking that You may help me to know your Son Jesus more and more in my life. Let your Holy Spirit come and take control in every situation that troubles my mind. I lay all my cares and burdens into You; help me to understand your will in my life. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

DO YOU PRAY?

Now when Daniel knew the document was signed, he entered his house (now in his roof chamber he had windows open toward Jerusalem); and he continued kneeling on his knees  three times a day, praying and giving thanks before his God, as he had been doing previously.

Daniel 6:10 NASB

King Darius signed a document that made praying to Go to be against the law. This document was put into effect and anyone who would disobey it will be punished by being cast in the den of lions.

Daniel had been loyal to king Darius. But he had a higher loyalty to God. That’s why he continued praying even if it was against the law by kneeling on his knees three times a day, praying, and gave thanks before his God, as he did before.

Many Christians like to be prayed for rather than to pray for themselves. You will see all of them busy in the Sunday services praying; but when they get out of those services they don’t get to pray until next Sunday. That’s why many of us are weak and we don’t have power to fight against sin and the things of this world.

This morning, I want to encourage you to pray. Daniel prayed three times a day, and he made a good example for us that we ought to pray to see the results we want in life. We have Christians who are oppressed by the demons and struggles with many bad behaviors. These folks don’t pray enough that they may get out of their problems; and we as a Church don’t put much efforts into praying for them and hence they continue to struggle.

Apostles of Jesus left a praying Church, that’s why the Church prayed until the Angel broke out Peter from prison in Acts 12:1-19. We need that kind of Church that will pray and break her members out of different prisons in life. We need Christians who will pray for their families, relatives and friends that all may inherit the coming Kingdom of God.

****Morning Prayer****

Pray this prayer with me by faith and God is going to answer your prayer….

Dear Heavenly Father, I thank You for your word. Lord I’m asking that You may teach and help me to pray. I’m asking that your Holy Spirit may keep on reminding me to pray every day that I’ m may live a victorious life in Christ Jesus my Lord. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

Morning with Ebenezer

ARE YOU FORGIVEN?

How blessed is he whose transgression is forgiven, Whose sin is covered.

Psalms 32:1 NASB

One of the questions that you need to ask yourself is: Are my sins forgiven? We have many good Christians who have been going to church since their childhood; but they are not sure if they have been forgiven.

These people practice religion, they do every charity work around; and many of them think they can earn salvation through their good works. One day Hal Lindsey said: The Ten Commandments were never intended to be used to work our way to God. The commandments were primarily given to show us how perfect we would have to be in order to earn acceptance with God by our own good deeds.

This is why God says to us, “Whoever keeps the whole law and yet stumbles in one point, he has become guilty of all” (James 2:10 NASB). It is easy to see in the light of this why the Bible says, “. . . by the works of the Law no flesh (man) will be justified in His (God’s) sight” (Romans 3:20 NASB). The law was given to show mankind why it needed a “suffering Messiah” who alone could make man acceptable to God.

This morning, I just want you to know that you need the forgiveness of Jesus in order to inherit the kingdom of God. If you will not repent your sins and give your whole life to the Lord; you will end up feeling good for doing your good deeds but none of them will earn you acceptance before God.

Jesus died that He may connect us to the Father. He is the way, and the truth, and the life; no one goes to the Father but through Him. If you want to see the Father someday; then Jesus is your only ticket to Him. Give your life to Him and He will give you a right to be a child of God and inherit His coming kingdom.

****Morning Prayer****

Pray this prayer with me by faith and God is going to answer your prayer….

Dear Heavenly Father, I thank You for giving us your only begotten Son, that He may die for us. Lord I’m asking that You may give me strength to walk in this way of salvation; Lord I want see you one day. Help me to overcome every sin and obstacles that prevent me from living a holy life in Christ Jesus my Lord and my Savior. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

Morning with Ebenezer

DO NOT JUDGE

“Do not judge so that you will not be judged. For in the way you judge, you will be judged; and by your standard of measure, it will be measured to you.

Matthew 7:1-2 NASB

We are living in the world that people tend to judge others without knowing all the facts. Some judge others by the color of their skin, accent of their languages or a place of their origin. Sometimes we judge people based on their religious beliefs and the societies that they came from.

In my personal life I have judged many people wrongly and end up feeling bad while repenting for my snap judgments. I have learned that most of our judgments are not correct; and that’s why Jesus asked us not to judge that we may not be judged. He said for in the way we judge, we will be judged; and by our standard of measure, it will be measured to us.

The world is full of people who judge others on every opportunity they get in life. In the church we have people who have judgmental attitude towards everyone. They put themselves in the perfect position and try to convince everyone that they don’t error; but everyone else does error. This judgmental attitude cause them to be blind when it comes to their weaknesses and shortcomings; because they are busy spending all their time pointing fingers to others.

This morning, I just want to ask you to stop judging. People are tired of being judged and they need people who will understand and encourage them in their walk with the Lord. We have been pushing away many people from the faith of our Lord Jesus Christ; because we spend a lot of time judging them rather than praying for them and teaching them the word of truth.

Most of the time we jump into conclusions of many things that we don’t real understand; we need to ask the Lord to help us in this area of judging. If we will learn to love people, then will stop judging them and starting to see them in the eyes of love. Love will teach us to be patient with everyone around us and offer our help without judging them.

****Morning Prayer****

Pray this prayer with me by faith and God is going to answer your prayer….

Dear Heavenly Father, forgive me for judging others. Help me to be able to love everyone who comes in my life unconditionally that I may live according to the law that You have given me. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

Morning with Ebenezer

YOU ARE NOT ALONE

Teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the
 age.’’

Matthew 28:20 NASB

Sometimes in life you may feel like you are all alone. You be may that good person who does favors to people and help everyone who comes in your way. You may be a brethren who is first to respond when anyone faces trouble in your local congregation.

People who help others a lot do not normally get the same help when they most need it. These people may sometimes feel lonely and depressed; because there is no one who is willing to take an extra step to see how they are doing.

There are some people of God who lives among unbelievers; there are some who live or work in the environments that are full of people who don’t know God. These people may feel lonely and feel like Jesus is so far from them. Some Christians are being persecuted in various parts of the world; and they may somehow feel like Jesus has left them alone in this world.

This morning, I want you to know that Jesus is with you always. No matter how you feel inside and going through outside; you need to know that God is with you. He will not leave you nor forsake you; Jesus will fight for you in each stage of your life and make sure that the will of God in your life stands.

He will help you to overcome all temptations that you will face in life and give you strength to overcome sin. You need to learn to trust Jesus even if you don’t feel like He is around; you need to continue building yourself up in your most holy faith and pray in the Holy Spirit. Keep yourself in God’s love and you wait for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ to bring you to eternal life. (Jude 20-21)

****Morning Prayer****

Pray this prayer with me by faith and God is going to answer your prayer….

Dear Father, I thank You for your Word. I give myself to You Lord; I’m asking that your purpose and will may stand in my life. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
