Morning with Ebenezer

WALK IN LOVE

Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass away.

1 Corinthians 13:8 NIV

We read in the Scriptures that God is love. Apostle John say God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life, John 3:16. His love was manifested when He sent His only begotten son to die for our sins.

He shows us the proper way of solving conflicts and problems we have in our different relationships in life. There was hostility between the lost man and our loving God. Man had sinned against God and he was cast away from His presence. A man was fall short of glory of God, but the love of God brought him back.

Whenever love is applied it never fails. It always come up with blessed solution which bring forth healing and peace to all. As Christians we required to walk by love, we are needed to love each other in all seasons of life. We should not love with words or speech but with actions and in truth. Our love should be genuine without having any hidden agenda in us.

This morning, I want to remind you to walk in love. Your Christian life should be filled with love; you should learn to answer every person who comes in your life. You should learn to handle everyone who is in your circle of influence with love and be patient with their weaknesses.

Apostle Paul says: The commandments, “You shall not commit adultery,” “You shall not murder,” “You shall not steal,” “You shall not covet,” and whatever other command there may be, are summed up in this one command: “Love your neighbor as yourself.” Love does no harm to a neighbor. Therefore love is the fulfillment of the law, Romans 13:9-10. If you love your neighbor as yourself, then you will be fulfilling the requirements of God's law.

****Morning Prayer****

Pray this prayer with me by faith and God is going to answer your prayer....

Dear Father, help me to love my neighbor as yourself that I may fulfill your law. In Jesus' Name, Amen.

VICTORY OVER SIN

But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

Since we have now been justified by his blood, how much more shall we be saved from God’s wrath through him! For if, while we were God’s enemies, we were reconciled to him through the death of his Son, how much more, having been reconciled, shall we be saved through his life!

Romans 5:8-10 NIV

Christ died for us while we were still sinners. He died that we may not perish but have everlasting life. His love towards us broke the curse of sin, and reconciled us with God. When Jesus died on the cross, He had you and me in His mind. He wanted to see us walking in freedom and overcome sin once and for all.

Many prophets, men of God, kings and priests came who directed people in the way of God; but none of them was able to deliver a lost man from sin. Some were given the ability to heal, perform miracles and preach the message of repentance; but none of them was able to set the whole world free from sin.

Sin was deadly incurable diseases that had no cure; but Jesus came with the cure. His death and resurrection from the grave brought forth the permanent solution for sin. He died in weakness but rose up in victory; He overcome sin and death altogether. Now we can bold sings the songs of victory because our Lord has conquered sin.

This morning, I want you to know that in Christ there is a victory over sin. If you are still struggling with sin in your life then you need to go to Jesus that you may have the victory over it. He still forgives sin, heals the sick, delivers people from the bondage of the enemy and give eternal life to as many as who accept Him in their lives.

If you are in Christ right now, then you need to know that He has the responsibility to take care of you and your household. He has the responsibility to help you overcome every temptation of this life and protect you from the evil one. Don't be afraid of the devil, he won't even lay a finger on you if you will totally surrender your life to Christ. If you are in Christ your business, becomes His business; and your battles become His. He will never let you walk alone in all the days of your life.

****Morning Prayer****
Pray this prayer with me by faith and God is going to answer your prayer....

Dear Father, I'm asking that You may continue giving me victory over sin. Help me to overcome every kind of temptations that will come in my way. In Jesus' Name, Amen.

Morning with Ebenezer

HE WILL NEVER LEAVE YOU

I was young and now I am old,
yet I have never seen the righteous forsaken
    or their children begging bread.
They are always generous and lend freely;
their children will be a blessing.

Psalm 37:25-26 NIV

The Bible says that the eyes of the LORD are on the righteous, and his ears are attentive to their cry, Psalm 34:15. It says again the righteous may have many troubles, but the Lord delivers him from them all, Psalm 34:19.

David says once he was young and while he was writing chapter 37 of the book of Psalms he was an old man. In all those years he never saw the righteous forsaken or their children begging bread. These people they are always kind and generous and their children are blessed.

All these Scriptures encourage us who have been given our lives to the Lord. It teaches us that the eyes of the LORD are upon us, and His ears are attentive to our cries. It says also we may face many troubles in life, but the Lord Jesus will deliver us from them all.

This morning, I want you to know that God will never leave you nor forsake you. He will make sure that you live your life comfortably if you will walk in His will. They may be problems here and there but God will take care of you and your loved ones if you will totally surrender your life to Him.

God will take care your children even when you are gone. He will bless the work of your hands and keep you safe. Keep on trusting in Him and all things will work together for your own good according to His purpose and plan in your life.

****Morning Prayer****

Pray this prayer with me by faith and God is going to answer your prayer....

Dear Father, I'm asking that You may help me to walk in your will in all the days of my life. In Jesus' Name, Amen.

Morning with Ebenezer

YOUR PRAYERS MATTER

Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves, not looking to your own interests but each of you to the interests of the others.

Philippians 2:3-4 NIV

We read in the Books of the Gospels how Jesus cared and prayed for His disciples and other people who came to Him. He prayed for everyone who had needs and prayed for the future of His disciples; and the Church as the whole. The Bible tells us that He is before the Father right now praying for us.

We are being encouraged to follow the example of our Lord Jesus Christ, to love like Him, live like Him and walk in His ways. He was the perfect example on how our lives should be as His followers. In our lives we have different people who have different needs. We have people who struggle in many things and who could use our love and prayers.

Sometimes we find ourselves being so selfish and forget completely about others. We have Christians who pray those bless me, bless me kinds of prayers. These Christians want to have all and they mainly forget to pray for others who are truly in need. It is not possible to help everyone in your life; but you can pray for every person who is in your life.

This morning, I want to remind you to pray for other people who are in your life. We are called to pray for things to change and not to complain about everything. The enemy is still at work; he still causes chaos in this world and infects fear in the hearts of many. Many people of this world live without hope; we need to give them hope because we have known Christ who is the source of our hope.

We need to encourage others with the same encouragement that we receive in Christ. Your prayers can make the huge difference in the lives of many people. God will honor your prayers and save many from destruction. I want to encourage you to continue praying for your family, relatives, friends, and the Church as a whole. Know that your prayer matters and God is listening to them.

****Morning Prayer****

Pray this prayer with me by faith and God is going to answer your prayer....

Dear Father, help me to pray for others. Give me the heart of loving others, understanding their pain and be willing to help them. In Jesus' Name, Amen.

LIVING FOR GOD

For this reason, since the day we heard about you, we have not stopped praying for you. We continually ask God to fill you with the knowledge of his will through all the wisdom and understanding that the Spirit gives, so that you may live a life worthy of the Lord and please him in every way: bearing fruit in every good work, growing in the knowledge of God, being strengthened with all power according to his glorious might so that you may have great endurance and patience,

Colossians 1:9-11 NIV

There is a life God intended us to live after we have received Him; new life in Christ Jesus which is different from the life of this world. The life that is worthy of the Lord in which we will please Him in every way. This life involves saying no to sin and accepting the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ in our lives.

It is the life which involves our total dependence on the Holy Spirit. The life where we surrender our will and desire to Him who gave His life for us. This life is where we learn to forgive, receive forgiveness; and letting go our past no matter how much pain we experienced in it.

It is the life where we live by faith and trusting God for our tomorrow regardless how things look like today. The life that we learn to be patient with everyone, love our enemies and pray for those who persecute us. It is the life that we overcome sin, cast out demons and break every curse that the devil has put in our lives.

This morning, I want to encourage you to continue living for God. I know that sometimes Christian life can be challenging; and you may be tempted to simplify it by living like anyone else out there. I want you to know that soon very soon we are going to see the King. It won't be long till we'll be leaving here, It won't be long we'll be going home.

When we go there, we shall be like Him. We will look just like our Lord Jesus Christ. He will wipe all of our tears and give us an eternal rest. I want to encourage you my friend to continue trusting Him. Don't give room to the devil that he may destroy your life through the deception of sin. Live the life that you have been taught in Christ Jesus and the Lord will never leave you or forsake you.

****Morning Prayer****

Pray this prayer with me by faith and God is going to answer your prayer....

Dear Father, I'm asking that You may help me to live according to your word. Lord give me strength to overcome sin and the deception that comes with it. Help me to be faithful to you until death that I may inherit your Kingdom in Christ Jesus. In Jesus' Name, Amen.

DREAMS

He may speak in a dream, or in a vision at night,
when people are in a deep sleep lying in their beds.
He may whisper something in their ear,
and they are frightened when they hear his warnings.
God warns people to stop them from doing wrong
and to keep them from becoming proud.
He does this to save them from death.
He wants to keep them from being destroyed.

Job 33:15-18 ERV

Many times in my walk with the Lord, God has spoken to me through dreams and visions. I had some dreams which came to pass and others were warnings for my own good. I have heard many testimonies from people who received messages from the Lord through dreams and visions.

The Bible says that God may speak in a dream, or in a vision at night when people are in a deep sleep lying in their beds. This teaches us that some of the dreams that we dream at night are from God. He speaks to us through those night dreams and visions; and seal instructions in our hearts.

We tend to ignore many messages that we receive at night; because maybe we know how to interpret many of those dreams, or we don't believe in them. When I read the Bible I find many areas where God spoke to people through dreams and visions. I believe God is still speaking until this day, what we need is an ear to listen to His voice; and people to help us understand the message behind those deep sleep dreams.

This morning, I want to encourage you to ask the Lord to help you understand the dreams that you dream at night. Ask the Spirit of God to help you interpret whatever God has been speaking to you in your dreams. Ask God to send to you people who will help you interpret your dreams; and help you differentiate which dreams are from God and which are not.

If God has given you several warnings in the past; make sure you follow them. Make sure you obey His voice if you want to be successful in life. God wants to stop you from doing wrong and keep you from becoming proud. He wants to save from death that is caused by life of sin that you may not be destroyed. Obey His voice today, and you will live a life full of joy.

****Morning Prayer****

Pray this prayer with me by faith and God is going to answer your prayer....

Dear Father, I'm asking that You may help me to obey your voice. Help me to understand You when You speak with me in my dreams that I may be able walk in your will. In Jesus' Name, Amen.

Morning with Ebenezer

TAKE A MOMENT TO PRAISE HIM

And my tongue shall speak of Your righteousness
And of Your praise all the day long.

Psalm 35:28 NKJV

We praise God for what He has done in our lives. We thank Him for all His goodness and mercies towards us. It is easy to do this when all things are well and nothing seems to lack in our lives. When all members of our families are fine and our plans go as we hoped.

It is not easy to put the same praise on when things are not okay. When bills are not paid on time, when children keep on acting up. When your spouse cheats on you or when your in-laws hate you for no reason. Here it is difficult for most of us to praise God and remembers His goodness in our lives.

I don't know what you are going through right now in life but I want to encourage you to live the life of praise. Learn to praise God in both times of happiness and sorrow. Learn to praise God when you have something and when you don't have anything. Learn to praise God when things are okay or are in the mess.

This morning, take a moment and praise God for all the good things that He has done in your life. Maybe your financial situation is not God for now but God has blessed you with other good things in your life that you can be thankful for. Maybe some of the people who you once love and trust have betrayed you; but I believe that still God has put some people who still love you in your life.

I want to encourage you to stop focusing on what is broken and damaged in your life. Start looking on what has grown and flourished in your life. Stop living in the past by thinking about things and people who hurt you; but learn to forgive them and let them go. Look into Jesus who is the author and finisher of our faith; and in that way you will be able to praise Him with everything within you.

****Morning Prayer****

Pray this prayer with me by faith and God is going to answer your prayer...

Dear Father, I praise You for my life. Lord I thank You for all good things in my life. Help me to continue loving You in all the days of my life. In Jesus' Name, Amen.

WISDOM

If you need wisdom, ask our generous God, and he will give it to you. He will not rebuke you for asking.

James 1:5 NLT

I have made some bad decisions in the past that I later came to regret for making them. I have learnt that in our normal life we need the wisdom of God to direct us in the right paths. Many of the bad decisions that I have made in my life is because I lacked the wisdom to make the right ones.

It's true that with age comes wisdom. As we grow older, experiences teach us to be wise and think twice before we do anything. In the mean time that no matter what age you are right now; God can give you wisdom to help you manage your present life effectively.

King Solomon was not the oldest person in Israel but when he asked God for wisdom. God gave him more wisdom than all people in His land. He had wisdom more than any ruler who ever ruled ancient Israel. God granted to him extraordinary wisdom that still amazes us up to this day. This is the evidence that God can give me and you wisdom too; if we will go faithful before Him and ask Him for it.

This morning, I want to encourage you to ask for God's wisdom in your life. Maybe you have made many bad decisions and there are some decisions before even now. You are afraid that you may make wrong decisions as you made in the past. Fear not, if you ask for wisdom of God. He will help you in the whole process of making the wise decision that will bring positive impact in your life.

The Church as the whole needs the wisdom of God. Ministers of the Gospel need the wisdom of God; they need to ask God to help them know what they are supposed to say and what they don't. They need wisdom of interpreting Scriptures literally as it was intended by God himself. Let's ask God for wisdom today!

****Morning Prayer****

Pray this prayer with me by faith and God is going to answer your prayer....

Dear Father, I'm asking that You may grant me with wisdom through the power of your Holy Spirit. Help me to make wise decisions that I may not come regret in the future. In Jesus' Name, Amen.

NOTHING IS TOO HARD

“I am the Lord, the God of all mankind. Is anything too hard for me?

Jeremiah 32:27 NIV

In our daily life we meet with situations that seem to be impossible before our eyes. In our families we encounter different problems; we may have some members of the family who are suffering from a certain deadly diseases.

We face different challenges that demand money and sometimes we may run short of them and find ourselves in dilemmas. We face different challenges in our relationships; those who are in marriage have their share of problems. There are some families that don't talk to each other; because of the certain things that they can't agree among themselves.

We have people who are looking for better jobs for years. They are trying to work hard that at least they can get promotion where they work; but it doesn't seem to work. Some people are struggling with a certain sin, they try their best to overcome it; but it just seems they can't resist temptations that led them to commit that sin.

This morning, I want you to know that nothing is too hard to God. Whatever you are going through now in life, there is a solution for it in Christ Jesus. Our God is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us. (Ephesians 3:20)

Do not be afraid; trust our Lord Jesus Christ with your life. If there is anything that gives you trouble then go and surrender it to Him. Ask Him to meet all of your needs and have faith that He will come and do the impossible. He is the Lord of impossible; He will do a miracle for you if you will believe.

****Morning Prayer****

Pray this prayer with me by faith and God is going to answer your prayer....

Dear Father, I believe that all things are possible with You. Lord I'm asking for miracles in my life, I'm asking that You may meet all of my needs. Help me to solve all of my problems according to your riches in glory by Christ Jesus. In Jesus' Name, Amen.

LIVE FOR CHRIST

And so, dear brothers and sisters, I plead with you to give your bodies to God because of all he has done for you. Let them be a living and holy sacrifice—the kind he will find acceptable. This is truly the way to worship him. Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God’s will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect.

Romans 12:1-2 NLT

We are called to live a holy life in Christ Jesus. We should ask ourselves if our lives reflect that holiness that we have been called to walk in. Do we live like the people of this world, or we truly follow the commandments of God and our Lord Jesus Christ.

Scriptures says that we will be judged by our deeds, according to what we have do while in the body, whether good or bad. For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; and the Bible teaches us that after death is judgment. We will not have any time to prepare ourselves on how we supposed to answer our God; but He will directly ask us to give our accounts before Him. (2 Corinthians 5:10, Hebrews 9:27)

Maybe you have been Christian for a while now. Things of God have been normal to you; and you have lost that fire which burnt inside of you in those early days when you knew the Lord. I'm here to encourage you to keep the fire burning inside of you. You need to know that sin is not your friend, and the devil will always be your enemy. The payment for sin is death, but the gift that God freely gives is everlasting life found in Christ Jesus our Lord. (Romans 6:23)

This morning, I want to encourage you to ask the Lord to rekindle the fire within you. I ask the Lord to transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Give yourself to Him, stop copying the behavior and customs of this world; but let the Spirit of God control your body, mind and soul.

Christians need to be the salt and light of this world. We need to let our good deeds shine out for all to see, so that everyone will praise our heavenly Father. You have a part to play in the body of Christ, if you will live according to the word of God; the name of the Lord will be praised. People will be drawn by your good deeds and they will desire to know the Lord who you serve.

****Morning Prayer****

Pray this prayer with me by faith and God is going to answer your prayer....

Dear Father, I'm asking that You may rekindle the fire of your Spirit within me. I want to live for you and walk in you. Help me to be a good example of how a Christian should be before those who are outside. I want to be a salt and light of the world as you have commanded me. In Jesus' Name, Amen.

Morning with Ebenezer

BE PATIENT

So be truly glad. There is wonderful joy ahead, even though you must endure many trials for a little while.

1 Peter 1:6 NLT

In Christ we are called to be patient, the Bible teaches that patience is the fruit of the Spirit, Galatians 5:22. Patience is not developed overnight; it takes a while for Christian to develop that virtue. When we are tested is where we need to be patient knowing that the Lord will come for our rescue.

Patience is needed when our children start to act up, when your boss start to treat you unfairly; and your in-laws start to despise you with no good reason. You need to be patient even with your coworkers who don't agree with your faith. You need to learn to be patient with your significant other when he/she does things against your expectations.

We need to be patient with the Lord, waiting for His promises. Sometimes the promises of the Lord seem to take forever to come to pass. We may fail to wait for Him and start seeking other alternatives. We hear stories of young women who believed God for husbands in the Church; and when those husbands seemed to take long time to come to them. They decided to accept any men who came to them even those who didn't know the Lord. As the result the marriage life become a snare for them.

This morning, I want to remind you to be patient. Be patient with those who mistreat you, don't try to jump and get your revenge; remember the vengeance is not ours but the Lord's. If your children are acting up and doing things that you didn't teach them when they are growing. Then know that there is something behind them that make them be that way. Then start dealing with that thing which without question is in the mission to destroy them and you will see them change.

If it happens that your boss starts to treat you unfairly, and does all kind of things to make your life a living hell at the office. Don't bother to fight with him/her in the flesh, but commit him/her to the boss of bosses Jesus Christ who will make sure you are being treated right. God has ability to replace your boss if he/she mistreats you. What you need is to do your work, and let the good Lord take cares of your boss; and anyone who pick a fight against you.

****Morning Prayer****

Pray this prayer with me by faith and God is going to answer your prayer....

Dear Father, I'm asking that You may help me to be patience with all people in my circle of influence. Give me wisdom to deal with people who annoy and mistreat me purposely; and strength to pray for them that they may change their behaviors. In Jesus' Name, Amen.

Morning with Ebenezer

OVER-SHARING

Even fools are thought wise when they keep silent; with their mouths shut, they seem intelligent.

Proverbs 17:28 NLT

In life we come across with many different people. There are those people who come in our lives and add something on it. There are others who come to take whatever we have and destroy whatever beauty we posses inside of us.

These people may come as friends, distant relatives, colleagues, fellow brethren and the like. These people may come with pure heart and some may come with hidden agendas. There are some who come to spy us and take away the freedom we have in Christ Jesus. They want to enslave us and force us to follow their religious regulations.

As Christians we need to ask God to help us discern the agendas of people who come in our lives. We need to be able to understand what they want from us before we gave them any access in our lives. There are some people who we gave them too much access and they used it against us. They ended up hurting us by spreading what we told them in confidence to other people.

This morning, ask our Heavenly Father to give you wisdom on how to interact with every person who comes in your life. We won't be able to understand the agendas of all people who come in our lives; but we can depend on Holy Spirit to lead us on how we can to share our information with people. We have Christians who have the problem of over-sharing; they tend to tell other people including strangers about what they are going through in life.

If you have a problem of over-sharing especially on Social Media sites; then it's about time you ask the Lord to give you a self control. You need to know that no one is interested with your personal life; so you might as well stop sharing it with the public. If you will learn to distinguish between your personal life and public life; then you won't end up embarrassing yourself every now and then by sharing too much to people who you don't even know.

****Morning Prayer****

Pray this prayer with me by faith and God is going to answer your prayer....

Dear Father, I'm asking that You may give me wisdom that I may know how I'm supposed to interact with people. I'm asking that You may grant me the fruit of self control through your power of Holy Spirit that I may know when I'm supposed to talk and when I'm needed to keep quiet. In Jesus' Name, Amen.

SUFFERING AS A CHRISTIAN

However, if you suffer as a Christian, do not be ashamed, but praise God that you bear that name.

1 Peter 4:16 NIV

We hear stories of Christians who are being persecuted throughout the world because of their faith. Not long ago we watched on the TV some of the faithful Christians from one country in North Africa who were killed on the live TV; because they refused to denounce their faith in Christ Jesus. It breaks my heart to see while the world claims it has developed in many areas; but still people are being killed because of their faith.

I think for most of us who live in the countries where there is freedom of worship to see it and forget about it. We don't know exactly what those precious saints go through in their countries so we need to pray for them every time we get a chance.

Jesus said these powerful words in the John 16:1-2: “These things I have spoken to you, that you should not be made to stumble. They will put you out of the synagogues; yes, the time is coming that whoever kills you will think that he offers God service.” Jesus saw these times in His days. He saw people who will kill innocent people including Christians and claim that they are offering a service to God. He then concluded that, And these things they will do to you because they have not known the Father nor Me.

This morning, I want to remind you to pray for those who are persecuted for because of their faith in Christ Jesus throughout the world. I know you may be planning to go to Church this Sunday; and you are excited to hear the word of God and fellowship with your fellow believers. There are some people in some parts of this world who worship in secret and they don't have the freedom to worship as you do.

Use the chance that God has given you right now to know Him more; and share with other the Good News of salvation. In the mean time continue praying for those saints who don't have the freedom to worship; that God can give them strength and patient in the time of trials. Pray for the Church of Jesus Christ and the peace of Jerusalem.

****Morning Prayer****

Pray this prayer with me by faith and God is going to answer your prayer....

Dear Father, I pray for all of those who suffer because they are Christians. Lord I'm asking that You may give them strength to overcome whatever temptations they are facing in daily basis. May You be their comfort in the time of trouble, and remind them that their work is not in vain; and they shall receive inheritance as their reward. In Jesus' Name, Amen.

HIS WILL FOR YOUR LIFE

Teach me to do your will,
    for you are my God;
may your good Spirit
    lead me on level ground.

Psalm 143:10 NIV

We read in the Scriptures that the steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord, and He delights in his way. In other words all good things that we see people of God do in this life are from God. He is the one who He establishes their steps and lead them in the right paths.

David the King asked God to teach him to do His will. He knew without God teaching him on how he is supposed to walk before Him. He would always make mistakes and fall short from what God wanted of him. He asked that God may let His Spirit to lead him on level ground; where he will work without stumbling.

I don't know about you, but I have learnt that I won't be able to know the will of God in different things in my life until I ask Him. There were times that I asked myself a lot of questions concerning my life. I struggled to understand the will of God in some areas of my life; but the only thing I found working was prayers. When I sat down and prayed, I got the direction that I needed and understand what God needed me to do.

This morning, I want to encourage you to pray if you want to know the will of God in your life. If you are not sure if that person is the one for you, don't go and ask people; but go and ask God. God knows that person more than his/her parents; remember He created him/her.

If you are not sure what you want to do with your life, go and pray. Ask God what He wants you to do and what is His will for your life. He may not come down and tell you face-face; but I'm sure He will create environment, send people or situations that will help you understand His plan for your life. Don't be a Christian by name, start practicing the principles of Christianity; start walking by faith and you will see God reveal Himself to you in the mighty way.

****Morning Prayer****

Pray this prayer with me by faith and God is going to answer your prayer....

Dear Heavenly Father, I thank You for your word. Lord I want to know your will in my life; I pray that You may show me what is your perfect will. Help me to understand what is required of me in your kingdom that I may fulfill your purpose in my life. In Jesus' Name, Amen.

THERE IS A COST TO PAY

For which of you, desiring to build a tower, does not first sit down and count the cost, whether he has enough to complete it? Otherwise, when he has laid a foundation and is not able to finish, all who see it begin to mock him, saying, ‘This man began to build and was not able to finish.’

Luke 14:28-31 ESV

Success in life doesn't come in a single night. It's true that miracles of God can take place within a second but there is a process when comes to true success. Each one of us has his own definition of success depending on what we were made to believe success is.

One thing that all successful people have in common is that they work hard to reach where they desire to be in life. People who are successful in their careers, relationships, ministries or anything in life; they have worked hard to reach where they are right now. They sacrificed a lot and gave up some pleasures that they may reach certain goals in life.

I don't know where you see yourself five years from now; but I believe you want to have better life than what you have right now. Maybe you believe God for more success in your life, but one thing you need to understand is that there is a price to pay. Success won't come cheap, there is your part to play no matter how spiritual you maybe; but still you need to work hard for it.

This morning, I want you to know that there is a cost to pay for everything you want to achieve in life. If you have the dreams of becoming the C.E.O of your company then you need to know that there is a lot of work to do. If you desire to manage your own company or business then you need to know that there are a lot of sacrifices that you will make along the way.

If you are in the ministry, then you need to set yourself apart that you may be used by God. You need to make sure you understand the Scriptures, live the life of prayers and follow the lead of the Spirit of God. If you are in a marital relationship or any kind of relationship, you need to know that there are sacrifices you need to make to make your relationship success. I pray that God may help you to succeed on whatever thing you put your mind into it.

****Morning Prayer****

Pray this prayer with me by faith and God is going to answer your prayer....

Dear Father, I desire to have good success in life. I know that there is a price to pay to reach where I desire to be in life. I'm asking that You may give me wisdom and strength to achieve my goals in life. In Jesus' Name, Amen.

Morning with Ebenezer

HE WILL REWARD YOU

But you should be strong. Don’t give up, because you will get a reward for your good work.

2 Chronicles 15:7 NCV

Have you ever had a job which had no pay? Have you ever worked long hours far away from your family and end up with nothing at the end of the day? Well, maybe you have done some charity works that had no pay in the past. We don't count charity works as jobs because many people do it by volunteering.

We have many people in the body of Christ who do the work of God. We have apostles who plant churches in different parts of the world. Prophets, who strengthen, encourage and comfort the church. Evangelists who proclaim the message of salvation that obtained through repentance throughout the world. We have pastors who take care the flock of God and teachers who feed the church with the knowledge of truth.

All of these ministries are there to equip his people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ.( Ephesians 4:11-13)

This morning, I want you to know that you will get a reward from God for your good work. Maybe you don't operate in any of those five-fold ministries that I have mentioned above. I believe there is something you are doing for the body of Christ that edifies the whole body even if no one seems to recognize your contribution.

I want you to know that God sees and knows your work and contribution in the body of believers. God will one day recognized what you did in the background before His angels in heaven and His saints. Keep up the good work, know that whatever you are going through now in life is the preparing you to experience God in higher dimensions in life.

****Morning Prayer****

Pray this prayer with me by faith and God is going to answer your prayer....

Dear Father, I'm asking that You may continue to strengthen me that I may used in your kingdom according to your will. In Jesus' Name, Amen.

EVIL THOUGHTS

We do live in the world, but we do not fight in the same way the world fights. We fight with weapons that are different from those the world uses. Our weapons have power from God that can destroy the enemy’s strong places. We destroy people’s arguments and every proud thing that raises itself against the knowledge of God. We capture every thought and make it give up and obey Christ. We are ready to punish anyone there who does not obey, but first we want you to obey fully.

2 Corinthians 10:3-6 NCV

One of the weapons that the enemy is using against us is our own thoughts. He sends attacks in our minds that we may entertain bad thoughts. Our minds are battlefields where all the mind battles are being fought.

Our brains produce as many as 50,000 per day, this means between 35 and 48 thoughts per minute per person. In all these thoughts there are many of them that are from the enemy. These are like the thoughts of revenge, suicide, fornications, adulteries, hate, thefts, false witness, and blasphemies.

Paul teaches us that though we live in the world, but we do not fight in the same way the world fights. Our weapons have power from God that can destroy the enemy's strong places. We destroy people's arguments and every proud thing that raises itself against the knowledge of God. We capture every thought and make it give up and obey Christ.

This morning, I want to challenge you to capture and destroy every argument and every proud thing that raises itself against the knowledge of God inside of you. Make sure you capture every evil thought and make it give up and obey Christ.

Don't give a room for any evil thoughts to control your mind, make sure you allow the Spirit of God to come and take control over your thoughts. Rebuke every kind of demonic thoughts that are bombing your mind. Let the Lord Jesus through the power of His precious Spirit to have His way in you today and take control over your mind.

****Morning Prayer****

Pray this prayer with me by faith and God is going to answer your prayer....

Dear Father, I thank You for your word. Lord I'm asking that You may take control over my thoughts. I rebuke every kind of evil thought inside of me; and I invite your precious Spirit to have His way inside of my mind. In Jesus' Name, Amen.

ASK FOR DIRECTION

Thus says the Lord,
The Holy One of Israel, and his Maker:
“Ask Me of things to come concerning My sons;
And concerning the work of My hands, you command Me.

Isaiah 45:11 NKJV

We are living in the world that people can access information easily as never before. Many folks go to Google whenever they have questions concerning different topics in life. People are asking questions on the internet every second and there are billions of questions that are being answered.

Due to the increase of knowledge people depend on different sources for information. The internet has been a major source of information for many. Any advice or answer to your questions is one click away or one tap away if you are using your phone.

These things may cause even devoted Christian to forget that they are supposed to ask the Lord for direction in life. Sometimes we read articles from different people and watch different videos but we forget about the Bible. We spend a lot of time seeking information in wrong places that's why we end up making bad choices in life.

This morning, I want to remind you to ask the Lord for direction in life. If you have reached a point where you cannot see even one step ahead of you; do not be afraid, ask the Lord to show you. God speaks to us in Isaiah that we should ask Him for the things to come, things that will happen to us in the future.

As Christians we need to practice to go before God daily asking for direction in different things in life. In this life you won't succeed as the way God intended you to be if you won't ask God to give you directions in life. Don't depend on the internet to tell you what you are supposed to live but depend on the Spirit of God to show you the way.

****Morning Prayer****

Pray this prayer with me by faith and God is going to answer your prayer....

Dear Heavenly Father, I'm asking You through the power of your Holy Spirit to give me direction on what I'm supposed to do in life. Help me to know how I'm supposed to live that I may fulfill your will in my life. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
