CHURCH ATTENDANCE

And let us not neglect our meeting together, as some people do, but encourage one another, especially now that the day of his return is drawing near.

Hebrews 10:25 NLT

Many Christians don't want to go to church because of the bad experiences they had in their local churches. They have bitterness inside of them that was caused by few people who don't really care about the flock of Jesus Christ inside the Church.

Some don't go to church because many ministers ask about their incomes and how much they make and this has caused many to be offended. There are ministers who create every kind of offering that they may take money from people and this has caused some to stop going to church.

Another reason is many controversial teachings and the behaviors of some ministers to build their small kingdom alongside the Kingdom of God. Many ministers demand to be feared and respected and they can't stand criticism. They tend to force people to do things and commit themselves in some things against many wills; they tend to bad mouth all whoever goes against them and think that they are superior than all ministers in their areas.

This morning, I just want to encourage you to go to church. The Bible encourages us not to neglect our meeting together, as some people do; but to keep encouraging one especially now that the day of his return is drawing near. In our local churches is where you will be able to grow and mature in the Lord; don't stop going to church because some members offended you or you don't like the way a certain minister is conducting his services.

We as the members of the body of Christ belong to each other; we need each other to learn how to love, serve others and get the encouragement we need to continue in our journey of salvation. In our local churches is where we get our blessings, being covered by prayers of others and shown the love of Christ. I want to encourage you to find a Spirit filled church in your near area and go into it. God will direct you to a church that will help you know Him more and more.

Pray this prayer with me by faith and God is going to answer your prayer....

Jehovah God, I come to You by the blood of Jesus. Lord I'm asking that You may forgive me where I thought that they is no need for me to go to church. Lord I'm asking that You may direct me to a church that will help me to grow and know you in a deeper levels. Lord help me to participate in all activities of my local church for the growth of your Kingdom. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
