LIVING FOR GOD

The end of all things is near. Therefore be clear minded and self-controlled so that you can pray. Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins. Offer hospitality to one another without grumbling.

1 Peter 4:7-9 NIV

We are living in the world that has lot of distractions; there are many things that they can keep us away from the presence of God. Christians don't spend much time before the Lord as they used to do twenty years ago. There are many things in our disposal that they can quickly change our focus; and cause us to look on things that they are have no life in them.

Due to many things that take place during a day many believers found themselves reducing hours of prayers or don't pray at all. Digital devices such as our smart phones, tablets and laptops take most of our time and leave nothing to the Lord. At the end of the day we find ourselves tired and unable to concentrate in prayers and we end up in bed.

This world seems like is going to last forever; every day it gives us reason to continue enjoying life by simplifying our way of living due to the huge advancement in science and technology. In the reality this world will end so soon than most of us hoped. Some people chose to live sinfully life thinking that they will continue doing so and no trouble will come in their way because God seems like is not looking on them. They think God is going to be patient forever and He will not even bring them to judgement; but the truth is that judgement is ahead of each one of us.

This morning, you need to ask the Lord to help you clear your mind and that you may control yourself from things that they may cause you error. You need to have a time for prayers, time to read the word of God and meditate it that you may grow in the Lord. Then you need to learn to love others deeply because love covers over a multitude of sins.

You will not succeed in forgiving others, and letting go those who hurt you in the past if you will not learn to love them first. Love will teach to understand them and not judge them; pray for them and remember they did what they did to you out of their weaknesses and to let God be the judge. Prayers will help you to put down heavy burdens that you have been carrying in you and surrender your will to the Lord. Start today and God will give you strength in each new day to continue living for Him.

Pray this prayer with me by faith and God is going to answer your prayer....

Dear Father, I come before with my heart open. Lord You know the way I have been struggling to live according to your will. There are many times I’m falling down but because of your unfailing love I get up. Lord I'm asking that You may teach to love my neighbors deeply, learn to understand them and pray for their weaknesses. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
