Morning with Ebenezer

MOTHERS

Strength and honor are her clothing;
She shall rejoice in time to come.
She opens her mouth with wisdom,
And on her tongue is the law of kindness.
She watches over the ways of her household,
And does not eat the bread of idleness.
 Her children rise up and call her blessed;
Her husband also, and he praises her:

Proverbs 31:25-28 NKJV

As we celebrate the Mother's day all around the world today. Let take a moment thanking God for our Christians mothers. There are some of us who were blessed to be born in Christian’s homes; within those homes there were mothers who kept the faith of our Lord Jesus Christ and made sure that faith is being impacted into us.

Mothers have been the backbone of our Christians families; there have been there during out tender ages and stood by us in all stages of our development. They have been there to teach us wisdom, encourage us and protect us from things that would harm us.

These mothers prayed for us, some taught us the word of God and helped us to make wise choices in life. They have endured our stupidity and loved us unconditional. They were given divine wisdom and foresee life calamities before they happened and arrange ways to overcome them.

This morning, I just want to ask you to take time to thank God for your mother. Maybe your childhood was not perfect and you did not get along with your mother as other did. Still you need to thank God for your mother because God used her to give you life and that is the great gift that no one can give you.

If your mother is no longer around then you need to thank God for her life and treasure every moment that you shared with her. If you are a mother, this is the time to show your children and your family love and make sure that they reach where God wants them to be one day.

****Morning Prayer****

Pray this prayer with me by faith and God is going to answer your prayer....

Dear Heavenly Father, I thank You for my mother. Thank You for giving such a wonderful mother who has been there for me since the day I was born. Lord I'm asking that You reward her for her good work in this life and in the afterlife. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
