Morning with Ebenezer

EYES OF FAITH

Faith assures us of things we expect and convinces us of the existence of things we cannot see.  God accepted our ancestors because of their faith.

Hebrews 11:1-2 GW

Spiritual eyes can see things that natural eyes can't perceive. These are what I call eyes of faith, the eyes that can only be found inside the people who have been filled with the Spirit of Jesus in their hearts.

These eyes of faith give you the ability to see your end before the beginning. It gives you the ability to see where you will be ten years from now if you will continue being faithful before the Lord. These are the eyes that will help you to focus in your final destination rather than stuck in your present situation.

The writer of the Book of Hebrews says faith assures us of things we expect and convinces us of the existence of things we cannot see. Faith makes us to believe about our miracles, breakthroughs and promotions in life; the eyes of faith make us  see these things and hence we get the strength to continue waiting and focus on them knowing one day they will appear before our carnal eyes.

This morning, you need to ask the Lord Jesus to uncover the veil in your eyes of faith that you may start seeing what He has in store for you. Maybe you have been walking blindly; not knowing the plan and purpose of God in your life. You have been wondering back and fro asking and seeking what God wants to do with you and through you. It's about time to ask Him to take the veil off that you may see for yourself.

I know that God has prepared something for you; there is something special just for you. Maybe it's a calling to go and serve Him in a certain way that no one did before. Maybe there is a certain gift in you that hasn't yet been relieved; this is the time for you to pray that you may get to understand the plan and purpose of God for your life.

****Morning Prayer****

Pray this prayer with me by faith and God is going to answer your prayer....

Dear Heavenly Father, I'm asking that You may take the veil that has been covering me from seeing things from You. Help me to see your plan and purpose of my life and understand it; help me to see things yet to come in my life that I may be prepared for them. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
