THE LORD OF PEACE

Now may the Lord of peace Himself give you peace always in every way. The Lord be with you all.

2 Thessalonians 3:16 NKJV

The world is seeking peace through different methods; some believe that peace will be obtained only by a sword. Many countries are investing billions of dollars to improve their armies and conquer weaker States. They think that they will obtain peace and order in the world this way and the history has proved itself over and over again that using force cannot guarantee permanent peace.

This struggle of peace goes down to a personal level these people who endorse the use of force to obtain overall peace in this world have their personal struggles when it comes in having peace with themselves. Many walk with great guilty in their hearts and they don't know how they can come to get the peace that they desperately need.

Some thought if they will have money, fame, and things of this world they could get peace from them. They later came to discover that peace is not obtained in material things or beautiful women can't give them the peace they have been seeking in their lives. Then there have to be a way that would bring permanent peace to those folks who tried to find it in the things of this world.

This morning, I just want you to know that true peace is found in Christ Jesus our Lord. The Bible calls Jesus the Prince of peace, and Paul calls Him the Lord of peace. He is the one who can give you a true peace that you are seeking in your life. That peace will start flowing in you the day you will know that you are forgiven and your name is written in the Book of life.

If you haven't given your life to Jesus then you need to do it quickly because is the only way you will come to peace with yourself. If you gave your life to Christ but have backslidden then this is the hour to make things right with the Lord and ask Him to lead you in a right direction. Go to Jesus today and you will be filled with peace in your heart.

Pray this prayer with me by faith and God is going to answer your prayer....

Dear Heavenly Father, I'm asking that You may forgive my sins and feel my heart with your peace. Help me to live according to your word that I may abide in your peace in all the days of my life. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
