The Lord our God said to us at Horeb, “You have stayed long enough at this mountain.
See, I have given you this land. Go in and take possession of the land the Lord swore he would give to your fathers—to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob—and to their descendants after them.”
Deuteronomy 1:6,8 NIV
The children of Israel stayed in the desert for 40 years. During this time God showed Himself faithful to them by giving Manna, meat and water. God taught them all what they needed to know before possessing the land which He swore he would give to their fathers- Abraham, Isaac and Jacob and to their descendants after them.
Though God was faithful and merciful, the Children of Israel were rebellious. The whole generation which came out from Egypt did not see the promise land because of their rebellion against the Lord; but only two people Joshua and Caleb who were faithful in the eyes of the Lord led the Children of Israel to possess the land.
In our generation of believers, there are some of us who have stayed at the same mountain long enough. Years come and years go, but still we are at the same spiritual level. Other advance from low, get to know the Lord and go before us but we are still stagnant in the same old position. The Lord gave us vision on what He wants us to accomplish in life but we are still living in our spiritual desert, where we fight with the same snakes and scorpions in our daily basis.
This morning, God wants you to know that you have stayed long enough at the same spiritual position. You need to go in and take possession of what God has bestowed for you in the spiritual realm. You have been fighting long enough with the same devils, now is the time for you to overcome and go higher in the Spirit that you may know God in higher dimension.
You need to refuse continuing stay in the desert, if there is any rebellion in you, repent of it and ask God to give you the direction you need to reach where He wants you to be. Make sure to obey all what the Lord will instruct you, keep on track what the Spirit of the Lord will be directing you to do everyday. Victory won't come in a single night but surely there is a day of victory for you.

Pray this prayer with me by faith and God is going to answer your prayer....
Heavenly Father, I thank You for your Word. Lord I'm asking that You may give me strength to move from this stagnant position to where you want me to be and become according to your purpose in my life. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
