PRAYING FOR EACH OTHER

And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people.

Ephesians 6:18 NIV

I have seen the power of prayer in my own life, it has changed many things which were not in order and put them in proper order. I have seen prayers changing the life of people who had no hope, people who thought they will never reach any where in life. Prayers have healed many broken relationships, restore marriages and bring peace among two people who where in discord.

Apostle Paul in His letters expressed his attitude of prayers, in most of his letters he told his recipients on how he remember them in prayers. Apostle Paul did this with joy knowing that the body of Christ is strengthen through prayers. He knew prayer was a tool which will bring encourage to people who are far away from his sight. 

He instructed the Church in Ephesus to pray in the Holy Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. But he reminded them to not forget to pray for all the Lord's people, meaning the church of Jesus Christ. People who have put their trust in the Living God, people who have been chosen to inherit the kingdom which will never be shaken. People who have forsaken the dark ways and opt to walk in the marvelous light of the Son of God.

This morning, I want to remind you to never forget praying for your fellow brethren in the body of Christ. There are some people who without notice started acting strange, doing things in improper way, forgetting what God had for them and went with the way of the world. Most of us find ourselves blaming and condemning them without knowing it was the work of the enemy.

The enemy comes to steal, kill and destroy but Jesus came that we may have life and have it more abundantly. Prayer will restore anyone who have fallen in sin, prayer will enlight his eyes that he may be able to see and understand the truth once again. Pray will take the spirit of condemnation against our neighbor inside of us. When you pray in the Spirit of God, He will help you to interpret matters according to God's perspective and hence instead of hatred toward anyone who had done you wrong; the love of God will cover the multitude of sin.

Pray this prayer with me by faith and God is going to answer your prayer....

Heavenly Father, I thank You for your Word. Lord please forgive me for judging others, help me to pray for them, to seek your face that You may come and heal them. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
