Morning with Ebenezer

DEMONSTRATING LOVE

Owe no one anything except to love one another, for he who loves another has fulfilled the law. For the commandments, “You shall not commit adultery,” “You shall not murder,” “You shall not steal,” “You shall not bear false witness,” “You shall not covet,” and if there is any other commandment, are all summed up in this saying, namely, “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.”Love does no harm to a neighbor; therefore love is the fulfillment of the law.

Romans 13:8-10 NKJV

We get lots of opportunities for demonstrating love. Every now and then God brings people in our lives that we may show them love, the love of Christ which He has bestowed in us through the Holy Spirit which he gave us when we were born again, Romans 5:5. This love encourage us to show it to someone out there, this love gives us reason to treat all people as the way we need to be treated.

The Bible says we should not owe no one anything except to love one another, for he who loves another has fulfilled the law. Many times in our lives we fail to walk in love, we normally says things which hurt the feelings of others, we use some sharp tones in our conversion which destroy most of our precious relationships. When we start walking in love, we will be able to fulfill God's commandments, when we fulfill His commandments, we will have that peace which surpass all understanding.

The time you will decide to love someone as the way Christ commanded, the judgement against that person will change. What used to offend you in Him, will be one of your prayer point every time you says your prayer for him. It will no longer be an offence as before, but it will be one of your challenge which needs both of you to overcome. Love looks beyond personal weaknesses and imperfections, love goes to the future and give the picture of how things will look like to that particular person if you will love and help him to become what God wants him to be.

This morning, God wants you to be the tool of demonstrating love in your circle of influence. Love teaches us to overlook our neighbors faults, love teaches us to overcome the fear of pain which they made experience before. Love gives us power and desire to trust again those who wounded us before, love gives us the ability to love again even if we said we will not love again.

You need to be a tool of demonstrating love to someone out there. You need to use those magic words that you may change the day of someone who had a bad morning, to give someone a smile who came late to work because he got stuck on traffic jams somewhere out there. When you love, you represent God in the person of Jesus Christ. Love someone today, share Christ love with someone in your circle of influence, and God will bless you.

****Morning Prayer****

Pray this prayer with me by faith and God is going to answer your prayer....

Heavenly Father, I thank You for your Word. Lord I'm asking that You may make me be a tool to demonstrate love to someone in my world. Help me to love like you Jesus, and to be bold to show it out as your Word commands. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
