Morning with Ebenezer

MORE THAN CONQUERORS

Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword?  As it is written:
“For your sake we face death all day long;we are considered as sheep to be slaughtered.” No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us.

Romans 8:35-37 NIV

When the Bible says we are more than conquerors in Christ, we can understand it by using this illustration. A boxer fought hard and won a prize in a boxing match. He went home and gave the prize to his wife. His wife was the "more than conqueror" - she got all the benefits and did none of the painful work. It was the same with Jesus, who came in the flesh, then suffered, died and resurrected for our redemption.

It cost Jesus everything to give us the victory which we have, and it cost us nothing. The love which made Him to leave everything for the sake of you and me; it is the same which makes us to be more than conquerors in this present age. For this reason we know that we can overcome everything in advance which will come in our way not because of ourselves but Jesus.

There are times in life when we may lack direction, having no support from those who we hoped they would give us one. There are times when the devil can cause within conflicts starting from family level until the place of your work. There are those hours which we feel like giving up, forsake everything and go far away. During these times, is when the Bible says against all odds nothing can separate us from the love of God.

This morning, God wants you to know that you are more than a conquerors. It was finished there on the cross, and you have nothing to worry about your life. The Lord is your shepherd, you shall not want. You shall not want finances, you shall not want love, you shall not want friends, you shall not want health, because the sacrifice which Jesus made had all those needs in its package.

The Bible instructs us that, ''Until now you have not asked for anything in my name. Ask and you will receive, and your joy will be complete, John 16:24." In the name of Jesus, you can change your darkest night to be your brightest day, your greatest failure to be your all time victory. You can change your lowest valley be your highest mountain, and your heaviest day to be your greatest turn around to your everlasting joy.

****Morning Prayer****

Pray this prayer with me by faith and God is going to answer your prayer....

Heavenly Father, I thank You for your Word. Lord Jesus I know by your name I have the victory. I'm more than a conqueror because of You. Now I claim that conquest to be seen in all areas of my life in the Name of Jesus. I declare and decree that I will walk in divine favor, everlasting peace, lacking nothing and I will get double for my trouble. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
