Morning with Ebenezer

 RECONCILIATION

“Therefore, if you are offering your gift at the altar and there remember that your brother or sister has something against you,  leave your gift there in front of the altar. First go and be reconciled to them; then come and offer your gift.

Matthew 5:23-24 NIV

Some folks in the body of Christ are living in enmity with one another. In our choirs, prayers groups, ushers and in the decision making bodies, we have divisions and within misunderstandings. These people call themselves Christians, but most of the time they find themselves doing what is contrary to the Bible teachings.

Some Preachers are in long time conflicts with other Preachers. There are those who spent the great deal of time without talking or even communicating due to some political or social differences. The enemy is using what we call divide and rule principle, He tries to divide the church that he may rule her people but the devil is the liar, he will never succeed in his plans.

The Bible says, if you are offering your gift at the altar and there you remember your brother has something against you, leave your gift there in front of the altar. First go and be reconciled to him; then come and offer your gift. Here the Bible was talking about the importance of the reconciliation ministry in the body of Christ. That we need to live in harmony with one another before planing doing or offering anything to the Kingdom.

This morning, God wants you to go and reconcile with anyone who you remember has something against you. There are some dimension which God will not allow you to reach in the spirit, if you will not live with peace with all people in your circle of influence. If there is anyone who has accused you for anything even if you think it is false accusation; go and make peace with him, that You may be the Child of Most High God.

Reconciliation restores relationships, it open the door for love to manifest its perfect work among people who were once entangled. It invites God to come and heal whatsoever was broken, to deliver all that was taken away and to establish new beginning. May God give you  a   humble heart to be able to accept your mistakes and failures, that you may have the guts of  asking for forgiveness and receive it. Shalom!

****Morning Prayer****

Pray this prayer with me by faith and God is going to answer your prayer....

Heavenly Father, I thank You for your Word. Lord I'm asking that You may give me a humble heart that I may accept my mistakes, to ask for forgiveness and be able to accept it when it will be given to me. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
