SIN NO MORE

When Jesus had raised Himself up and saw no one but the woman, He said to her,“Woman, where are those accusers of yours? Has no one condemned you?”

She said, “No one, Lord.”And Jesus said to her, “Neither do I condemn you; go and sin no more.”

John 8:10-11 NKJV

The Bible calls Satan as the accuser of our brethren, in the church of today we have some people who play the part of being the accusers of other people in the Body of Christ. In the days of Jesus, there were some Pharisees who brought a woman caught in adultery, in very act to Jesus. They claimed according to the Law of Moses, this lady was to be stoned. (Rev 12:10)

They did this to test Jesus, that they may have something of which to accuse Him. But Jesus stopped down and wrote on the ground with His finger, as though He did not hear. Then He said to them, He who is without sin among you, let him throw a stone at her first.”  When these accusers heard it, they left because they were convicted in their conscience. And Jesus was left alone, and the woman standing in the midst, John 8:1-11.

When we find ourselves fall in sin, it does not mean that we need to continue sinning, but it means we need to repent and continue with the journey of our salvation. The Bible says we have not fight with sin to the point of shading blood, there are some people who went before us fought with sin and costed their lives. But for us, His blood will make us completely clean from the evil we have done. It will give us clear consciences so that we can worship the living God, Heb 9:14.

This morning, God wants you to know that He did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. The mission of Jesus was to save you and me from sin and the nature of sin inside of us. That's why we get the forgiveness of sins through His name, by the name of Jesus we are being forgiven, and by His blood we are being washed from all of our sins and evil which we have done.( John 3:17)

God wants you to go and sin no more. God wants you to go and leave the life of sin which you used to have, God wants you to allow His Spirit to lead you in the way of Holiness. You can stop sinning today, you can make up your mind to overcome that addiction of a certain sin which keeps on coming back daily. In Jesus we have the victory over sins, in Jesus we have the forgiveness over our sins, in Jesus we have the salvation of our souls. God bless you.

Pray this prayer with me and God is going to answer your prayer....

Heavenly Father, I thank You for your Word. Lord I'm asking that You may give me strength not continue living in sin, help me to stop sinning. Give me a victory of sin in my life, that You may be glorified. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
