Morning with Ebenezer

WALK IN LOVE

Owe nothing to anyone except to love one another; for he who loves his neighbor has fulfilled the law. For this, "YOU SHALL NOT COMMIT ADULTERY, YOU SHALL NOT MURDER, YOU SHALL NOT STEAL, YOU SHALL NOT COVET," and if there is any other commandment, it is summed up in this saying, "YOU SHALL LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOR AS YOURSELF." Love does no wrong to a neighbor; therefore love is the fulfillment of the law.

 Romans 13:8-10 NASB

The Bible talks about love as the fulfillment of the law. All Ten Commandments are combined in two great commandments that Jesus gave us. Apostle Paul says that we should not owe anything to anyone expects to love one another, for who loves his neighbor has fulfilled the law.

Jesus said the first commandment is “‘YOU SHALL LOVE THE LORD YOUR G OD WITH ALL YOUR HEART, AND WITH ALL YOUR SOUL, AND WITH ALL YOUR MIND.'(Matthew 22:37 NASB). Then He continued with the second commandment which is: The second is like it, 'YOU SHALL LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOR AS YOURSELF.' (Matthew 22:39 NASB)

We hear these commandments everyday and no wonder when you starting reading this and met them you were like here we go with the love thing. But the question that you need to ask yourself is that are you living according to these commandments? Do you real love God with all your heart, and with all of your soul, and with all of your mind? Do you live for God in your life? Or you are full of your own agendas?

This morning, I want to ask if you are still walk in love. Do you love your neighbor as yourself? Do you put other people first in your life or you are just living a selfish life? Do you help and pray for those who don't have the life the God has blessed you with? Do you love like the way our lord commanded is to love?

Ask The Lord to help you to remember your first love, ask Him to help you love your neighbor as you love yourself. And always remember to do all things in love knowing that God is love.

****Morning Prayer****

Pray this prayer with me by faith and God is going to answer your prayer....

Dear Heavenly Father, forgive me for living a selfish life. Now I'm asking that You may help me to live a selfless life for your own glory. In Jesus Name, Amen.
