Morning with Ebenezer

THE SON OF GOD

The Son is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. For in him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things have been created through him and for him.  He is before all things, and in him all things hold together. And he is the head of the body, the church; he is the beginning and the firstborn from among the dead, so that in everything he might have the supremacy.

Colossians 1:15-18 NIV

Jesus changed the history of this world. You can just take a moment and imagine the world without Jesus. Just imagine if He wouldn't come and die there on the old rugged cross. How the world would looks like until now?

There would be no Christians and we would be still under the bondage of sin up to this day. But thanks are to God who in the fullness of time sent Jesus to die for my sins, your sins and the sins of the rest of the world. He brought to us the law of love that transformed the understanding of mere man up to this day.

Many scholars have called Jesus different names and put Him in different positions that they thought would be comfortable for them. The Bible calls Him the Son of God and God. The Bible says all things have been given to Him by the Father; all things have been created through him and for him. He is before all things, and in Him all things hold together. Whoa!

This morning, I want you to take a moment and magnify the name of Jesus with me; let us exalt His name together for He is worthy to be praised. Thank Him for all what He has done in your life. Thank Him for the gift of the Holy Spirit that He left to us when He ascended to the Father. Thank Him for the blood of Jesus that cleanses us, protects us and gives us peace. (Psalm 34:3)

I want to encourage you to seek the Lord, make Him to be the center of your life. The name of the Lord is a strong tower, the righteous run to it and is safe. If you will run to Jesus when you face any situation in your life, then you will be safe. Jesus will give you a blessed consolation in every situation that will come in your way. (Proverbs 18:10)

****Morning Prayer****

Pray this prayer with me by faith and God is going to answer your prayer....

Dear Heavenly Father, I thank You for your Son Jesus. Lord I thank You for sending Him to die for our sins. Lord I praise your name because You are wonderful God and everything that You do is excellent. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
