Morning with Ebenezer

These things I have spoken to you, that you should not be made to stumble. They will put you out of the synagogues; yes, the time is coming that whoever kills you will think that he offers God service. And these things they will do to you because they have not known the Father nor Me. But these things I have told you, that when the time comes, you may remember that I told you of them.

And these things I did not say to you at the beginning, because I was with you.

John 16:1-4 NKJV

We hear in the news throughout the world Christians are being persecuted and neglected because of their faith. Even those countries which once known as Christian countries; they are starting slowly neglecting the word of God and focus on the things which are not godly.

Christians who live in the countries that have large number of people of other religions are facing many difficulties when comes to the matter of worshiping God. We hear militants and people who just hate Christians and don't believe in Jehovah God; kill Christians and destroy everything that is related to them.

If you are living in a country where there is a freedom of worship; it is very easy to take that freedom of yours for granted. Sometimes you may not even be moved by what other fellow believers are going through around the world. You may tend to forget that we are all the children of Most High God; and He loves us equally regardless of our facial appearances and places of origin.

This morning, I want to ask you to take a moment and pray for our persecuted brothers and sisters around the world. Jesus said it will come a time whoever kills those who believe in Him; he will think that he offers God service. There are many people around the world who are killing for the name of God; they don't want to see Christians on the face of this world so they use sword to make sure they reach their goal.

Jesus said these people will do all those things because they don't know the Father or Him. These people don't know our Heavenly Father or our Lord Jesus Christ. We need to pray that they may get to know the truth; and pray for our fellow believers to continue being faithful unto death knowing that their reward is waiting them in heaven.

****Morning Prayer****

Pray this prayer with me by faith and God is going to answer your prayer....

Dear Father, I pray for my brothers and sisters who are facing persecution for the sake of your name. Lord I pray that you may strengthen them and comfort them all the time. Lord help them to continue being faithful to You; help them to know that their work is not in vain and that You will reward them in heaven. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
