HE WILL PROTECT YOU

But the Lord is faithful, and he will strengthen and protect you from the evil one.

2 Thessalonians 3:3 NIV

There are some people who were raised in the societies that feared the devil more than they way they feared God. They lived among witches and mediums that did miracles of the darkness and hurt all who were against them.

There are some parts of the world where Christianity was not popular like other religions which worshiped idols, familiar spirits, marine spirits and demons that paused as their late family members. Some of these people who later came to be converted into Christianity; and accepted Jesus as the Lord and Savior of their lives found themselves still struggling with fear.

They feared the devil, they feared witches, and they feared demons because they saw what they could do to people in the past. One thing that most people of this background forget is that our God is All-Powerful. They forget that God power is unlimited, and He is able to do whatever He wills to His people; and nothing will stop Him including the devil and all his wicked armies.

This morning, I want you to know that we serve the omnipotent God. The word omnipotent comes from omni- meaning “all” and potent meaning “power.” He has all power over all things at all times and in all ways. The Bible says that Satan is now the “god of this age”, 2 Corinthians 4:4. Even though Satan is now the god of this age, it belongs to him only because Almighty God has granted it to Him. Satan said these words to Jesus in the wilderness; “And the devil said to Him, ‘All this authority [over all the kingdoms of this world] I will give You, and their glory; for this has been delivered to me, and I give it to whomever I wish’” (Luke 4:6)

Satan himself admitted that whatsoever authority that he has in this world was granted to Him by God the Father. In other words when time comes the Father will take away all the access that the devil now enjoys. So you don't need to fear the devil because our God is so powerful and He is able to protect you from the evil one in all the days of your life. 

****Morning Prayer****

Pray this prayer with me by faith and God is going to answer your prayer....

Dear Heavenly Father, I'm asking that You may protect me from every snares of the evil one. Help me to live in peace knowing that Satan will never hurt me because You are with me. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
