ABIDE IN LOVE
This is My commandment, that you love one another as I have loved
you. Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down one’s life for
his friends. You are My friends if you do whatever I command you.
John 15:12-14 NKJV
It is easy to teach things
that yourself you don't even live them. We have many religious leaders and
inspirational speakers who teach great things to the multitudes; but they don't
live those things. If you examine the personal lives of these men; you will discover
that they are contrary to their teachings.
Jesus came as a humble man, a
Rabbi from Nazareth who lived a simple life like everyone else during His days.
He waited 30 years to start His earthly ministry; He lived among us and
experienced all what normal people do. He paid taxes and worked hard as a
carpenter to meet His daily needs while helping His family in day to day
activities.
Jesus was a responsible man
and He made sure that He lives according to the laws that were put in His days.
One day He gave us His commandment, He said we should love one another as He
has loved us. He showed His love for us that's why He commanded us to do what
He has showed us. He wanted us to give ourselves for others and be our brothers’
keepers.
This morning, I want to
remind you to continue abiding in love. We live in a time where the Church is
much focused in material prosperity; and other things that make people to shine
more than what real matters in our walk with God. It is possible to be very
rich and get all the attention you need in this life; but if you will not walk
in love, you will end up losing your soul.
You need to know that we have
a duty to love one another; we have a duty to treat each other in love. There are
enough possibilities that there are people who hate you for their no reasons;
but you are not supposed to hate anybody or build enmity with anyone. Read the
four books of the Gospel and look the life of Jesus; try to examine His style
of living and kneel down ask Him to help you live like Him.
****Morning Prayer***
Pray this prayer with me by
faith and God is going to answer your prayer....
Dear Heavenly Father, I pray
that You may help me to love my neighbor as I love myself. In Jesus' Name,
Amen.
