FOCUS ON THE SPIRIT
To focus our minds on the human
nature leads to death, but to focus our minds on the Spirit leads to life and peace.
Romans 8:6 NIV
Someone once said, “It always
seems impossible until it's done”. We all know that this saying is true for
someone who starts something new or engage himself in new environment that
requires him to get out of his comfort zone.
We have many Christian in the
church who wants to live a holy life in Christ Jesus. These Christians struggle
daily to do the will of God and become more like Jesus every day.
We have another group of
Christians who have been in the church for a while and who think like they have
done all that is needed to be done. These people think that they have grown
enough to even turn themselves to be the judges of young Christians who still
seek to mature more in our Lord Jesus Christ.
This morning, I want you to
focus your mind on the Spirit of God who leads to life and peace. You may be
still weak, falling down every now and then; and still struggles in your walk
with the Lord. But God knows your heart, and if your heart is right with Him;
then know that He has got your back.
People can say words and make
comments that may end up hurting your soul. You need to remember that these
people are not Jesus regardless of their experience of the things of God.
Whoever is mature enough will come to you in love and teach you what God
commands us to do in the spirit of love; and if you have sinned the Spirit of
God will convict you to repent and straighten your ways.
****Morning Prayer****
Pray this prayer with me by
faith and God is going to answer your prayer....

my mind on your will in my life. Help me to walk right before You that I may be
counted worth to inherit that coming kingdom of your Son Jesus Christ. In
Jesus' Name Amen.
