GOD AND TECHNOLOGY
But you, Daniel, keep this prophecy a secret; seal
up the book until the time of the end, when many will rush here and there, and
knowledge will increase.”
Daniel 12:4 NLT
We are seeing the huge
advancement of science and technology in our world right now. Technology is
trying to solve many of our struggles and make our lives to be easy in each
day. There are many things that science and technology cannot solve until today.
There are things that remain to be a puzzle even in science community that only
God can solve them.
One of the things is the evil
nature of human beings. This evil nature is the one that causes man to sin and
do things that are against the will of God. There is no medicine in the medical
field that can cure sin or stop people from sinning. This has been the
permanent problem since first Adam and it is only second Adam who is Jesus
Christ can solve it.
Another thing is sufferings.
People suffer all over the world and technology seems to lack enough solutions
to solve all the sufferings in this world. There are questions like why bad
things happen to good people. Why some people seems to continue to suffer
regardless their status in life and the wealth they possess; no man has the
answer to all of these questions but God have the answer in each of our
unanswerable questions in life.
Another puzzle that has been
troubling the heads of the wise for centuries is death. The author of the book
of Ecclesiastes says; For the wise man, like the fool, will not be long
remembered; in days to come both will be forgotten. Like the fool, the wise man
too must die, Eccl 2:16. There is no scientific ways that can prevent death
when it comes; and Jesus alone has ability to prevent the second death after this
first death that is destined to each one of us.
This morning, I just want to
encourage you to submit all to God. He is the only one who has answers to all
of your questions in this life. He can take you out of your sufferings and save
you from the second death. He is able to give you strength to overcome sin and
evil of this world; if you put your trust in Him, you will never be put into
shame.

Pray this prayer with me by
faith and God is going to answer your prayer....
Dear Father, I submit my life
into your hands. Lord I'm asking that You may help to live for you for the rest
of my life. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
