THE NAME OF JESUS
Then Peter
said, “Silver or gold I do not have, but what I do have I give you. In the name
of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, walk.”
Acts 3:6 NIV
When Jesus went back to the
Father, He left His name and His Spirit to the church. Whenever the name of
Jesus mentioned by faith; the Spirit of God came to confirm it by miracles,
signs and wonders. Apostles of Jesus used the name of Jesus to perform miracles,
healings and cast out devils.
Jesus Himself before He
ascended to the Father said these words: And these signs will accompany
those who believe: In my name they will drive out demons; they will speak in
new tongues; they will pick up snakes with their hands; and when they drink
deadly poison, it will not hurt them at all; they will place their hands on
sick people, and they will get well.”(Mark 16:17-18)
This authority of the name of
Jesus has been passed down from generation to generation of believers in the
body of Christ. Whoever believed in the name of Jesus; saw the miracle working
power that came with it. The name of Jesus has been changing the lives of
millions of people throughout the history; and it's changing now, and it will
continue changing people until the end of the age.
This morning, I want to
encourage you to pray in the name of Jesus. If you have any kind of needs in
your life or any kind of problems right now; then that will be a good
opportunity for you to use the name of Jesus to pray for that particular needs
or problems. If your day has just started then use the name of Jesus to pray
for the blessings and strength for this wonderful day.
Use the name of Jesus to pray
for your family and loved ones; use the name of Jesus to pray for your personal
struggles and weaknesses. If you feel like things of this life are depressing
you and you don't know what to do; then it's about time to pray in the name of
Jesus and fight against spirit of depression that kept you down for quite some
time now. May the Lord help you to remember to use His name whenever necessary
it needed to be used.

Pray this prayer with me by
faith and God is going to answer your prayer....
Dear Father, I come before
You by the blood of Jesus. I'm asking that You may meet my personal needs and
help me to overcome my personal struggles in life. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
