Morning with Ebenezer

SPIRITUAL WILDNESS

For we live by faith, not by sight.

2 Corinthians 5:7 NIV

Have you ever find yourself like walking in spiritual desert? A place where you feel like sometimes you experience spiritual thirst and hunger that cannot be fulfilled by your own efforts. There are those times you feel like God is so far from you and there is no spiritual connection with the Godhead.

These times you may try to repent every kind of sin that you can possibly remember; but sometimes it seems like this doesn't help that much. You may be asking yourself million of questions what you have done wrong to find yourself in that kind of spiritual dryness. But you still don't get enough explanations to help you understand the period that you are in.

The Bible teaches us to live by faith; it says that my righteous one will live by faith. In these moments most of us desire to see something or some sign from heaven; but most of the time God doesn't say a word. If you are new in the faith you may feel like you have lost your salvation; but this is only one of the many seasons that God allows that you may learn to live by faith and not only what you see. (Romans 10:38)

This morning, God wants you to live by faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, not by what you see. Maybe when you turn on every side of your life you see problems; but you need to know that in every problem there is a blessed consolation from God. Everything is happening for a reason in your life and nothing is by accident; and God will be there for you until you overcome all that you are facing right now.

Learn to trust in the Lord in the all seasons of your life. Learn to trust Him even if you are in the middle of hot desert right now. He promised us in Isaiah these powerful words: When you go through deep waters and great trouble, I will be with you. When you go through rivers of difficulty, you will not drown! When you walk through the fire of oppression, you will not be burned up—the flames will not consume you, Isaiah 43:2, TLB. I pray that God may help on whatsoever you are facing right now in life; I pray that He may help you to live by faith, and not by sight no matter what will come in your way.

****Morning Prayer****

Pray this prayer with me by faith and God is going to answer your prayer....

Dear Father, help me to live by faith, and not by sight. Help me to trust You even to the point when no one trust You in my circle of influence. Help me to put my faith in the name of your Son Jesus, knowing it is the only name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
