Morning with Ebenezer

THE GOD OF THIS GENERATION

One generation shall praise Your works to another,

And shall declare Your mighty acts.

Psalm 145:4 NKJV

God had a purpose for each generation before us, He has a purpose for our generation and there is a purpose for all generations that will come after us. In each generation He raised men and women who stood for His purpose and made sure His interests stands in that particular generation.

He raised prophets in Ancient Israel, Kings and judges who stood for His purpose and recorded the events of their lives in the sacred Scriptures. He raised Apostles, prophets, teachers, pastors and teachers in the New Testament that they may extend His kingdom to the ends of the earth.

This God has a purpose for our generation; He has a purpose for each one of us individually. He wants to use you, I and they that His kingdom dominion may be reach to all nations and people who don't know God. If you will be willing to obey His voice, then He will use whatsoever that is in your disposal to extend His kingdom; from your house to all other houses out there that are ready to hear the message of the Gospel.

This morning, I want to encourage you to be excited to serve the Lord at this time of your life. Whatever you are doing for the Kingdom it has its impact even if you don't see it. Your prayers, financial contributions and time that you give to serve others in the body of Christ help in extending the kingdom of God.

Don't stop doing anything that you have been doing in your local church. Ask the Lord to give you more opportunities of ministering in different ways that you may help in fulfilling the purpose of God for this generation. God is waiting for you to be obedient and spread the Gospel of Christ by every means possible; so you need to fulfill that great commission with all of your strength that the name of the Lord may be lifted high and praised by this generation.

Pray this prayer with me by faith and God is going to answer your prayer....

Dear Father, I'm asking that You may use me to bring glory to You in this generation. Give me strength to tell people of my generation about You; that they may forsake their bad ways and surrender their lives totally into You. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
