LEARN
TO UNDERSTAND
Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit, but in humility
consider others better than yourselves. Each of you should look not only to
your own interests, but also the interest of others. Your attitude should the
same as that of Christ Jesus.
Philippians 2:3-5 NIV
The world need people who will
understand them, they are a lot of people who have been misunderstood for years
and now are longing to be understood. You need to learn to understand your
spouse, parents, children, friends, relatives and most of all to understand God.
The church needs to understand
people and needs to start fulfilling the purpose of her existence instead of
focusing on herself. Christ created a selfless church, the one that will think
more of other than thinking for herself.
Christ promised He will take cares
of the church if the church takes care of the lost. No wonder many churches are
struggling financially; and there are some corrupt ministers force people to
give their money by using deceptive ways because they have left their original
goal and concentrate on other goals that are not God’s.
This morning, you need to ask
the Lord to help you understand people. Many folks are tired with people with
negative attitude, people who do stuffs for their own advantage and use
everything including others to climb higher in life. People need the church to
step up and start showing the Jesus like attitude to them.
Someone once say people will
not care how much you know until they know how much you care. It doesn’t matter
how much you think you know God; if you will not learn to understand people in
their struggles then your knowledge won’t matter to them. Love must start first
and everything will be build upon it; and if the church will learn to love the lost
then she will win many by love rather than knowledge.
****Morning
Prayer****
Pray
this prayer with me by faith and God is going to answer your prayer….
Dear Father, I’m asking that
You may help me to understand people and treat them with respect. Help me to
have a Christ like attitude towards all people who you allow to come in my
life. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
