FEED YOUR MIND

This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success.

Joshua 1:8 NKJV

One thing you need to consider as a Christian is what things you are feeding your mind during the day. We are living in the times where the world is like one village; now we are able to understand different cultures and traditions of people who live in different parts of this world than ever before.

We are spending a lot of time in Social Medias than what we spend in prayers and reading the word of God. Technology allows us to see and hear different things that 20 years ago it was nearly impossible in some parts of the world to have access of them. The enemy is putting His things in these  Social Medias that he may take us away from God.

New Friendships blossom through Social Medias that are not godly that change the attitudes and characters of many. We portray some images online that are total different from who we real are in our normal life. We work hard to live a lie online, sometimes we don't even admit that we are Christians; and that we need to stand on what the word of God says.

This morning, I want to encourage you not to stop feeding your mind with the word of God. The Bible command us to speak the word of God, meditate in it day and night, that we may observe to do all that is written in the Scriptures. True prosperity is found in keeping the word of God in our lives.

Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the by the word of God. If you hear the word of God daily then your faith will automatically increase; but if you hear the misery of this world daily then you will live fearful life. People who read, hear and meditate the world of God daily are as bold as lion. They don't fear about tomorrow or fear death because they know to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. (Romans 10:17, 2 Corinthians 5:8)

Pray this prayer with me by faith and God is going to answer your prayer....

Dear Father, I'm asking that You may help me to read your word, meditate it day and night and that I may observe to do all that is written in it. Cover my mind by the blood of your Son Jesus that it may receive and store only things that are godly and pleasant before You. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
