SEEK FIRST HIS KINGDOM

But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.

               

Matthew 6:33 NIV

The number one priority of any Christian is to seek the Kingdom of God and be right with God. Jesus promised us that if we seek His kingdom and walk right with Him; He will give us all things that we desire in this life. In other words true prosperity in life is found in Christ Jesus our Lord and Savior.

Seeking the Kingdom involves reading the sacred Scriptures that have unique principles that will help you in each stage of your life. There is a word for every hour and situation in the Scriptures; I have learned that true wisdom is found in the word of God. If you desire to be wise in this life then you need to make the word of God a part and parcel of your life.

Some of us are struggling how to pay our bills, provide for our families and achieve certain goals in life. The secret is in seeking the Kingdom of God, when you start seeking His face; He will come and give you the answers of your questions and solutions to your problem. He will bring peace to your family and healing to all members of your family.

This morning, I want to encourage you to put God first in everything you do in this life. Paul says that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose, Romans 8:28. Maybe you are experiencing some hardships in life right now and God seems to be million miles away keep trusting Him.

Everything happen for a reason and every life experience has its purpose. You need to know that problems won't last forever and in every temptation there is a way to escape that you may be able to bear it. Don't give up on God and say to yourself let others seek Him and I will wait to receive from them. Instead start seeking God also that we may receive from you too; there is something unique in you and God wants you to share it with the church. You won't be able to discover your position in God unless you start seeking His face.

Pray this prayer with me by faith and God is going to answer you prayer....

Dear Heavenly Father, I will seek your face and put you first before everything in my life. Help me to walk in the light of your Son Jesus Christ, that I may be able to show others where to find the light. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
