WITH HIS HELP
Give us aid
against the enemy,
for human help is worthless.
With God we
will gain the victory,
and he will trample down our enemies.
Psalm
108:12-13 NIV
David was
the man after God's own heart that did all the will of the Father. This man was
God fearing and he did not do anything without asking the direction from the
Lord. He let the Lord to guide his steps and direct his ways. When you read his
book of Psalm you will see the wonderful relationship he had with his Creator
through those wonderful anointed words from his own mouth.
In Psalm
18:29 David says the following: With your help I can attack an army. With God’s
help I can jump over a wall. David was one of the greatest warrior even lived in
the history of ancient Israel. He fought against might kings and conquered them
without forgetting the greatest victory that he had after killing Goliath; who
was a Philistine giant measuring over nine feet tall.
David gained
all these victories with the Lord's help. One thing to learn from the life of
David is this; we need the Lord to help us overcome all of our enemies in this
life. When I say enemies I don't particular mean people but it may be diseases,
poverty, ignorance, spiritual backwardness, a certain sin such as lying,
fornication, corruption or even certain curses which keep on following you in
life.
This
morning, I just want you to know that with God's help, you will gain the
victory, and He will trample down your enemies. Don't continue fighting your
battles alone; ask Jesus to come and help you to overcome whatever demon that
has been making your life a living hell. Know that you are not alone; the Lord
God is with you all the time.
Do not put
your trust in men, because their help is worthless. They may promise to help
you but end up to disappoint you; but if you will put your trust in Jesus, He
will never let you down. Go to Him today by faith, and He will indeed answer
your prayers.
****Morning
