CAN YOU BE TRUSTED?

Peter asked, “Lord, are you telling this parable to us, or to everyone?”

The Lord answered, “Who then is the faithful and wise manager, whom the master puts in charge of his servants to give them their food allowance at the proper time? It will be good for that servant whom the master finds doing so when he returns.  Truly I tell you, he will put him in charge of all his possessions.

Luke 12:41-44 NIV

We are living in a generation that many want to be the servants of God but not all of them understand fully the price to pay. Many think that it takes a single night to be well known minister and a day to be a mega church Pastor. Those who closely follow prosperity gospel think that a short way to be successful in life is to become a Christian minister.

That's why we have huge waves of so called ministers of the Gospel but secretly defend the interests of their own stomachs. The Church has been turned into money making machine a place where everyone can be successful in just a single night. Many Preachers make promises to their followers of good life and prosperity which they can't real deliver and at the end many get offended.

I believe that it is the will of God to prosper us in all things and be in health, just as our soul prospers. I believe our prosperity should start in our spirits and be manifested outwardly. I believe that God needs to trust you before giving you to stand for His Name in this world. There is a time that the Lord will come back and evaluate your work; and reward you according to what you have done if it is good or bad.

This morning, I just want you to know that faithfulness is the key to win the heart of the Master. If each one of us will be faithful and do what the Lord has commanded him to do in his area of ministry; without removing or adding anything to what He commands us in His word. He will rewarded by the Master when He comes back. The Master who is Jesus himself will put him in charge of all his possessions.

If the Lord called you in the ministry make sure you minister with pure heart while following what His word says. If the Lord promised you a big ministry or that you be the leader of Mega Church; be patient in His time He will make all what He has showed you in the night to come to pass in the light of a day. Stay focused; know that the Lord one day will need you to give the account of your work in this life.

Dear Heavenly Father, I thank You for loving me. Help me to be faithful in all my ways before You. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
