SEED OF THE WOMAN

And I will put enmity

Between you and the woman,

And between your seed and her Seed;

He shall bruise your head,

And you shall bruise His heel.”

Genesis 3:15 NKJV

Jesus is seen in the book of Genesis as the seed of the woman. The Lord God said He would put enmity between a snake and a woman. The descendants of a snake and the descendants of the woman will be enemies. One of the descendants of a woman will crush the head of the snake, and the snake will bite his heel.

The Lord God was talking about Jesus Christ the seed of the woman who will come to crush the head of serpent Satan himself. This Jesus who crushed the head of a serpent and gain the total victory over sin and death; He did all of that for you and me. 

He came that we may have victory over sin, victory over sickness and diseases, victory over demonic forces of the world of darkness and be filled with the joy of salvation. The work of Jesus did not end on that ugly rugged wooden cross but it spread to the whole world through the Apostles of Jesus Christ and men and women who committed their lives to spread the Gospel.

This morning, I just want you to know that through Jesus we have the victory. There is power in the name of Jesus to break every chain; there is power to set people free from the bondage of the enemy. There is power to overcome sin and stay away from evil.

Jesus is still in the saving business, He is the friend of the sinners and He invites everyone to come to Him. If you feel like the devil is giving you hard time in your life, stop fighting him alone. Go to Jesus today and ask Him to help you overcome your battles. He will fight for you and the devil that has been defeating you all this time will never defeat you again.

Pray this prayer with me by faith and God is going to answer your prayer....

Heavenly Father, I surrender my battles into your hands. Help me to overcome each one of them. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
