FEELING ASHAMED?
For whoever is ashamed [here and now] of
Me and My words in this adulterous (unfaithful) and [preeminently] sinful
generation, of him will the Son of Man also be ashamed when He comes in the
glory (splendor and majesty) of His Father with the holy angels.
Mark 8:38 AMP
Many of us call ourselves Christian but we
are ashamed of Jesus and the Gospel before the world. We say we are born again
and Spirit filled Christians but we can't take our time to share the Gospel of
Christ to the lost. We make friends with non-believers and try to compromise
with them on the things which are completely forbidden in the Bible.
Jesus said if someone is ashamed of Him
and His words here and now in this adulterous and sinful generation. He will
also be ashamed of that person when He comes in splendor and majesty of His
Father and the holy angels. He will do what you did before your friends and who
so called respected people; who you did not want to offend them by mention that
you are a believer.
Paul said, “For I am not ashamed of the
gospel, because it is the power of God that brings salvation to everyone who
believes: first to the Jew, then to the Gentile, Romans 1:16’’. If you will
continue being ashamed of what you believe, many people will continue to die
without knowing the truth and end up in hell. But if you will start speaking
and share the Gospel many will be saved from their sins.
This morning, I just want to encourage you
to share the Gospel with someone out there. The Gospel by itself it has the
power of God that brings salvation to everyone who believes. What you are
needed is to share and let the Holy Spirit convict and save people from their
sins.
Just think about how many sinners will be
saved in your arena of influence if you will be willing to open your mouth to
tell them about Jesus. Telling them about salvation, and lead them to
understand Scriptures and the whole plan of God in their lives.
****Morning Prayer****
Pray this prayer with me by faith and God
is going to answer your prayer....
Dear Heavenly Father, forgive me for
feeling ashamed to share the Gospel. Help me to start sharing it with the pure
heart knowing that many will be saved for my testimony. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
