Morning with Ebenezer

The reward of humility and the fear of the Lord
Are riches, honor and life.

Proverbs 22:4 NASB

Serving the Lord is one of the most important things someone can do in this life. The Bible calls us to serve the Lord in every way possible. Jesus said if anyone serves Him, He must follow Him; and where Jesus will be, there His servant will be also; if anyone serves Jesus, the Father will honor Him. (John 12:26)

God has done great things in our lives; He has taken us from the kingdom of darkness to the kingdom of the Son of His love. He has delivered us from the power of darkness and set us free from the curse of sin. This Jesus is the one who gives us strength day to day to live according to the will of God; and lift us up every time we fall back in sin.

There is great need of servants of God in this world right now. The world need people who will help them to know things of God. It needs people who will show them the love of God; and spread the Good News of Jesus Christ. The world needs people who will encourage those who are broken and tell them that there is still hope in God.

This morning, I want to encourage you to be a servant of God in your area of influence. Serve the Lord with all what you have in your disposal. Do your best to serve the Lord with all of your heart, with all of your strength and with your entire mind. Serve Him knowing that you will get your reward one day in heaven; God will reward all your sweat and pay you for every good thing that you did for His kingdom.

If you will walk in humility and fear the Lord in all things; the Lord will reward you with riches, honor and give you abundant life. He will meet your personal needs, and resurrect all things have died in your life. Start serving the Lord today!

****Morning Prayer****

Pray this prayer with me by faith and God is going to answer your prayer....

Dear Father, I'm asking that You may give me the wisdom I need that I may serve You around those who are in my circle of my influence. Help me to know how I can tell them about You; that they may understand and come to believe that salvation is only found in Christ Jesus. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
