Morning with Ebenezer

TIME HEALS

He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.

Psalm 147:3 NIV

I believe in the healing that is found in Christ Jesus our Lord. But I came to learn that healing takes time and is a gradually process depending on the power of God that works in you. Many people want to get instant healing on the things that took years to develop inside of them. God is able to permit that instantaneous healing to take place inside of us; but sometimes He allows us to get that healing step by step.

Our Spiritual stability is one of the factors that promote early healing. If we are stable in the spirit then it would be easy for God to work day and night that we may start operating in our full potential. Many fail to see permanent healing of their wounds; because they can't wait on God to complete His healing work in them.

Many are struggling with their wounds inside; they still feel rage and resentment towards people who mistreated them and took them for granted. Some of the sharp wounds that many people experience including good Christians come from love relationships. Many have been hurt with the people who they once trust and give themselves to them. These people proved to be fake and caused these precious people to have trust issues when it comes to love.

This morning, I want you to know that God heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds. Covering your past wounds with work, new relationships and food won't change the fact that you are broken and you are desperately in need of healing. You need to learn to avail yourself before the Lord and ask for His healing power to touch you and set you free.

Healing takes time, in other words time heals. Don't get tired asking for the same healing from God daily; because there is power in the persistent prayers and great things happen when patience finish its work inside of you. Healing is for people who patiently wait for the Lord to binds up their wounds; and strengthen them that they may go get other new wounds while they are still healing from the past ones. I want to encourage you to wait for the Lord; be strong and take heart and wait for the Lord. Psalm 27:14

****Morning Prayer****

Pray this prayer with me by faith and God is going to answer....

Dear Heavenly Father,  I'm asking that You may touch my heart and heal my wounds. Lord I'm asking for your total healing in me; I believe that by your stripes I'm healed and made whole. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
