AVOID ENVIRONMENTS

Don’t team up with those who are unbelievers. How can righteousness be a partner with wickedness? How can light live with darkness? What harmony can there be between Christ and the devil? How can a believer be a partner with an unbeliever?

                                             

2 Corinthians 6:14-15 NLT

There are people who ask themselves a question why they continue committing the same sins over and over again. Why do they continue doing the same mistakes everyday and facing the same dilemmas in life. Some of these folks are Christians; but they kept on falling on the same traps of the enemy over and over again.

The Bible says that we should not unequally yoked together with unbelievers. This means that we should not team up with those who do not believe. One of the reasons that make many Christians to continue committing the same kind of sins; is the tendency of mingling with the same people who influenced them to commit those sins at the first place.

This include friends who do not know God, environments that caused you to fall in sin at the first place; and living the same life style that once lived before you knew God. Many people found themselves repeating the same sin over and over again; because they continue living in the same environment that caused them to error.

This morning, I want to ask you to avoid any kind of environments that may cause you to sin against God. If you have an ex-boyfriend or girlfriend who does not serve the same God who you now serve; then you need to avoid any environments that can cause you to fall in his sin with him or her.

You need to avoid hanging out with the same friends who convinced you to drink and live a luxurious life that is against the will of God. If you want to live for Jesus then you need to stop conforming yourself to the standards of this world, but let God transform you inwardly by a complete change of your mind. Then you will be able to know the will of God-what is good and is pleasing to Him and is perfect. (Romans 12:2)

Pray this prayer with me by faith and God is going to answer your prayer....

Dear Heavenly Father, I pray that You may help me to stop conforming with the standards of this world. Transform my inwardly by a complete change of my mind, that I may be able to know the will of God-what is good and is pleasing to Him and is perfect. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
