THE KINGDOM OF HEAVEN

Since the days of John the Baptist, the kingdom of heaven has been advancing with force. And forceful people are taking hold of it.

Matthew 11:12 NIRV

Being a Christian and living a life worth of our calling in Christ Jesus is not easy as many think. There is a constant battle between our bodies and Spirit of God in us; and the battle between our spirits and the devil. There are many things that may come to take us away from the will of God; and without the help of God we may not even make it at the end.

We live in this life now but as Christians we have the hope of inheriting the kingdom of heaven. If you will be a Christian in this life and at the end of the day failed to inherit that kingdom; then you will counted as a person who wasted precious opportunity that was laid before you. It is the will of God that no one should perish but all reach the repentance in Christ Jesus.

The Bible says since the days of John the Baptist, the kingdom of heaven has been advancing with force. The devil has been using all devices in his disposal to destroy the work of God; and to prevent the spreading of the Gospel from the beginning of it. It then continues by saying forceful people are taking hold of it. These are people who decided with all of their hearts to follow the Lord at any cost who did not love their lives so much even when they faced death.

This morning, I want to encourage you to be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. Paul teaches us that we do not fighting against flesh-and-blood enemies, but against evil rulers and authorities of the unseen world, against mighty powers in this dark world, and against evil spirits in the heavenly places. (Ephesians 6:12)

I want to encourage you to fight the good fight of the true faith. Hold tightly to the eternal life to which God has called you, Jesus is coming soon so make sure that no one will take away your crown. God will be with you all the way if you will be faithful to Him; and do exactly what the word of God commands us to do.

Pray this prayer with me by faith and God is going to answer your prayer....

Dear Heavenly Father, I’m asking that You may help me to fight the good fight of the true faith. Help to stand in the truth of your word; help me to preserve the eternal life that You have been given in Christ Jesus. I want to inherit your heavenly kingdom; I desire to be among those who will see the new heaven and a new earth, and New Jerusalem that will descend out of heaven from You. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
