Morning with Ebenezer

DO NOT BE AFRAID

One night the Lord spoke to Paul in vision: "Do not be afraid; keep on speaking, do not be silent. For I am with you, and no one is going to attack and harm you, because I have many people in this city." So Paul stayed for a year and a half, teaching them the word of God.

Acts 18:9-11 NIV

Paul had seen the Lord in a resurrection body at his conversion (Acts 9:4-6, 1 Cor 15:8); and in the temple at Jerusalem in a dream (Acts 22:17-18). Now here he sees him in a vision, and the Lord started by encouraging him that He shouldn't be afraid.

In Acts 23:11 the Bible says the Lord stood near to Paul, and said to him, "Take courage". As you have testified about me in Jerusalem, so you must also testify in Rome. This shows that God talked with Paul in different ways including the small still voice in his spirit (the voice of Holy Spirit); that gave Him instructions on what He suppose to do in his personal life and ministry as a whole. (Acts 16:6-7)

Paul was facing many threats from Jews who did not believe in the Gospel of Jesus Christ; but the Lord always showed up on time to encourage him in everything. You may not be a minister of the Gospel as Paul was; but you are a good and faithful Christian. Maybe you have been facing different threats from the enemy in different ways. Some people have dreamed several times that they have died; and some live in fear because they are afraid they will be witched or suffer certain deadly diseases. 

This morning, the Lord has sent me to tell you that you shouldn't be afraid. He wants you to know that He is with you; He wants you to know that the enemy won't succeed in any evil plans that he has cleverly crafted against you. I want to encourage you to keep doing the work of God in your area of ministry without being afraid of the devil. 

Take courage and continue standing in the will of God even if you see the whole world going against Him. Maybe you have asked for a sign from the Lord, a dream or a prophetic word from Him. I'm here to tell you that if you are reading this; then you need to have peace that God has spoken to you through this media. Do not be afraid of anything, trust God in everything and wait patiently for His visitation in your life.

Pray this prayer with me by faith and God is going to answer your prayer....

Dear Heavenly Father, I come before You by the blood of Jesus. Lord I rebuke every kind of fear within me in the name of Jesus. Lord I rebuke the fear of death in the Mighty Name of Jesus. I rebuke the fear of sickness and diseases, poverty and every kind of demonic attacks in the Name of Jesus. Thank You for being Lord and Savior of my life, In Jesus' Name, Amen.
