Morning with Ebenezer

YOU DON'T HAVE TO KEEP YOUR DISTANCE

The Lord does not delay and is not tardy or slow about what He promises, according to some people’s conception of slowness, but He is long-suffering (extraordinarily patient) toward you, not desiring that any should perish, but that all should turn to repentance.

2 Peter 3:9 AMP

God is the God of love, but the devil rule by fear. People who are in the kingdom of God are free; but people who are in the kingdom of darkness are in bondage. Serving the Lord brings forth freedom in our spirits but serving the enemy cause us to live in the slavery.

Most of the time when we find ourselves fall in sin we tend to keep our distance away from God. We tend to stay away with everything that remind us that we did something wrong and that we need to repent. Some of us repent but still continue staying away from the light of Christ.

God sent Jesus while were still sinner and He came to die for us. He knew that we will never win the battle over sin by our own strength; that's why God sent His Son Jesus to give us the strength we need to overcome. He was made weak there on the Cross that we may get strength here to overcome. He died in weakness that we may live in strength of the Son of God.

This morning, I just want to encourage you to go near to God. If you know that you have been avoiding God because of your sins; this is the call of invitation to you that you need to go back to Him. You need to repent if you haven't and if you did repent and still feeling guilty then you need to forgive yourself and let it go in your heart.

I'm here to tell you that God loves you. He doesn't want you to perish but you should reach repentance in Christ Jesus. You don't have to keep your distance; you don't need to stay far from Him. Give yourself to Him today, ask Him that He may give you strength to overcome sin and live the victorious life from this day forward until His the day He comes to take us back to our father.

****Morning Prayer****

Pray this prayer with me by faith and God is going to answer your prayer....

Dear Heavenly Father, I come to You by the blood of Jesus. I'm asking that You may forgive me for running away from You. I want to have a close relationship with You; help me to live the life worth of my calling in Christ Jesus my Lord. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
