Morning with Ebenezer

GOD IS GOD

How great is the goodness you have stored up for those who fear you.
You lavish it on those who come to you for protection, blessing them before the watching world.

Psalms 31:19 NLT

God is good all the time. The Bible says He has stored up His goodness for those who fear Him. He lavishes it (present something in generous or extravagant quantities upon) on those who go to Him for protection and blessing them openly before the eyes of the whole world.

I have learnt that when God decides to bless you, He will do it alone without asking for advice from anyone. He will do it openly in order that everyone can see that it was Him who did it. He told prophet Amos these words; For the Lord God does nothing without revealing his secret to his servants the prophets, Amos 3:7.

The Lord reveals what is going to do for you first because when the time comes and those words come to pass, then you will glorify Him because He said it before it happens. This proves the omniscience nature of God, the capacity to know everything that there is to know. He is the Alpha and Omega, First and the Last, the Beginning and the End.

This morning, I pray that God reveal His goodness in your life. I pray that He may open all unlocked doors that the enemy has been locking in your life. I pray that God may bless you in everything you touch and decided to do in life. I pray that God may show Himself strong for you in the areas that you are weak right now.

May God satisfy the hunger of your heart; may He give your heart to rest in Him and enjoy all the good things that He has prepared for you. Remember He is good even if you are seeing bad things happening to you right now; that will never change the fact that He is still too awesome. Continue to trust Him, and know that all things will work together for good to you.

****Morning Prayer****

Pray this prayer with me by faith and God is going to answer your prayer....

Dear Heavenly Father, I'm asking that You may bless me according to your riches and glory in Christ Jesus. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
