GOD IS LOVE
Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love.
1 John 4:8 NIV
Love is one of the fruit of the Holy Spirit; the Bible in Galatians 5:22-23, But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law. These fruits of the Spirit has been described as the character of God.
The outstanding characteristic of God is that He is love. His love is expressed in the extravagant gift of His Son as the sacrifice for our sin. Romans 5:8 says that God's love was extended to us while we were sinners.
If God loved us this much while we were separated from Him, how can we, having received this life-changing love, withhold it from others in our words and actions? (Outpouring 50 promises & purposes of the Holy Spirit, Rod Parsley)
This morning, I just want to remind you that we are commanded to love one another. The Bible says in 1 John 4:21, And he has given us this command: Anyone who loves God must also love their brother and sister. If you claim you love then you need to start making peace with your neighbors.
There is no need of you claiming that you are a strong believer if you are not walking in love. There is no need to say you walk in the steps of Christ if you still have the list of people who you so call haters in your heart. Start loving the unloved today; learn to forgive and let go all those who wronged you somewhere in your life.

Dear Heavenly Father, I'm asking that You may help me to love like Jesus. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
