Morning with Ebenezer

JUDGEMENT

And just as it is destined that men die only once, and after that comes judgment,

Our lives in this world are limited by time. The author of the book of Ecclesiastes says: To everything there is a season, A time for every purpose under heaven:, Eccl 3:1. Everything is bound by time, whether failures or success all of them are bound by time.

We see God created the world for six days and on the seventh day He rested. But when the right time came, God sent his Son, born of a woman, subject to the law. When the right time came, you were born of a woman in this world. Many things have taken place in your life but nothing real will last forever. Sometimes we face difficulties that seem to be forever but in real sense they are also bound by time. (Genesis 1, Galatians 4:4)

The day will come when you will breathe the last and your soul will go back to the one who created it. No one knows the date or hour; but the Bible gives us assurance that men are destined to die only once. Life doesn't end after death; the Bible speaks a lot about judgment that will follow after the death of each one of us. 

This morning, I just want you to know that the judgment day is coming. Apostle Paul says the following in 2 Corinthians 5:10, For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, so that each of us may receive what is due us for the things done while in the body, whether good or bad. God will not show partiality, He will judge each one of us according to what we did in this life.

I just want to encourage you who have put your trust in the Lord Jesus Christ that you are in a right path. I encourage you to continue living the life of faith and do the will of God in your life. The world is moving very fast and people are inverting new ways of sinning before God but you child of God don't be like them. Obey the word of life that you may have eternal life because you chose Jesus in this life.
