HAVE TIME FOR GOD

But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Matthew 6:33 NKJV

We are living in a very busy world. Many people have what I call go get it attitude. People are so ambitious to reach their goals and fulfill their dreams in this modern world. I think is not a bad thing to have goals in life and do whatever is in your power to make your dreams reality, but in all things you need to put God first.

Due to our busy schedules and demanding careers many of us have lost that Godly touch in our hearts. I know people who lived in poverty before and for some reasons they were still struggling in life and try to get education that they may liberate themselves. During that time they were faithful in asking God to help them reach where they believed things will be better for them. 

God answered their prayers and they reached their goals in life but they subtract God from their new ways of life. Some were so caught up in their things and forgot about church, reading the Bible and have private time with God. Many still call themselves Christians, but in the reality they have forsaken Christ Jesus long time ago because of their success.

This morning, I'm here to encourage you my friend to have time for God. You need to have your own private time away from all chaos of this world with your Creator. You will never understand the purpose and know the calling of God in your life if you will not sit before His throne and listen to His voice. If you will give Him your full attention and have a special time just for Him; He will also give you full attention and favor you in tremendous ways.

There are a lot of questions that you are asking yourself and you can't get answers from anyone. These kinds of questions about life and your personal life would be answered by now; if you would have your private sessions of prayers before the Lord. People who were used by God in the mighty way in the Bible had their private sessions of prayers before the Lord no wonder their impact was so great. I challenge you to do the same!

Pray this prayer with me by faith and God is going to answer your prayer....

Dear Heavenly Father, forgive me for putting other things first in my life. From this day forward I will put You first and acknowledge You in all my ways. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
