KEEP PRAYING

If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.

2 Chronicles 7:14 NIV

One of the secret to victory in Christian life is to live the life of prayer. Prayer is the main media that connects us to the super natural world. If you will not pray then you will not understand what is taking place in the spiritual realm.

Prayer unlocks closed doors and set us free from known and unknown bondage. It gives us confidence that if we ask forgiveness in prayers then God will forgive us. It gives us strength to overcome our weaknesses; live the life of peace and get the miracles we need in life.

God told these words to King Solomon; if my people, who are called by my name, here God was talking about the nation of Israel, but it also applies to the Church of Jesus Christ in this world. Will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways; God wanted us to humble ourselves and pray and seek His face through reading Scriptures and stop living the life of sin. Then God will hear from heaven, and He will forgive our sin and heal our land.

This morning, I just want you to know that there is power in the prayer of the believer. If you believe in the Lordship of Jesus Christ, and you have given your life to Christ then you need to know that there is power released through your prayers. Then you need to continue praying because something is happening because of your prayers.

James says the prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective, James 5:16b. This means that there are many things that take place when a righteous person prays. I am here to encourage you to continue praying for whatever you are praying for; God is listening and changes are coming. The devil will discourage you that there is nothing you will get out of your prayers but you need to know that prayers work. Don't give up, keep praying.

Pray this prayer with me by faith and God is going to answer your prayer....

Dear Heavenly Father, help me to continue living the life of prayer. Give me strength to continue praying until I get my answers from You. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
