EVERYDAY FAITH

It was by their faith that people of ancient times won God's approval.

Hebrews 11:2 GNT

We have been hearing about the faith which moves the mountains, faith that do wonders and miracles. Men and women of God have talked about faith as one of vital things in the life of a believer. The Bible is clear that without faith we can not please God, because he who goes to God must believe that He exists and that He rewards those who earnestly seek Him.(Hebrews 11:6)

We have read that through this faith people of the old got their recommendation. They lived a life of faith, they did not only have faith to do mighty things which they did; but they had what I call everyday faith. I have met believers who claims they know God and help other understand His word; but they lack this daily faith and hence they live in doubts and fear of what will come next!

People of the old got a good testimony and were approved by God because they had all times faith in God. They did not have faith the hour they went to worship or among the fellow brethren; but they had it even by themselves in the valleys of shadow of death. They trusted God with their lives, they knew that God would provide for them even during famine in their lands, and they were rewarded by God.

This morning, God wants to train yourself to believe Him in everything. There are some things which we face in our daily lives, that most of the time we tend to put God aside and think that we can deal with them. Some sounds small but we end up loosing everything even what we once had.

The devil will always trick you to think that you can do small things for yourself faster than waiting for the busy God who have to take care the whole universe. If you will believe God is going to take care you and your family even if you will be out of work; you will never be tempted to do illegal things to help yourself in the time of need.

God is responsible for every single detail of your life, that's why even the very hairs of your head are numbered. This means even what seems so insignificance in our eyes is important to God. If God can number your hair each one of them, how much more He will provide for your daily needs? Stop being the audience of devil's lies, start having faith on God everyday starting from today.

Pray this prayer with me by faith and God is going to answer your prayer....

Dear Heavenly Father, I thank You for your Word. I know most of the time I thought I will be able to take care some of the things in my life without your help. Now I know I was wrong, if you can number each of my hair, I believe you will take care everything including what seems too small. Help me to trust You in small and big things knowing You will help me in both. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
