COUNTRY OF THE FREE

But as it is, they desire a better country, that is, a heavenly one. Therefore God is not ashamed to be called their God, for he has prepared for them a city.

Every day when I switch on Television and read news online, there is a huge increase of injustice in this world which we are living. There are people who are so cruel and they don't respect the elders or have compassion on the nursing babies. The number of people who die for famine and war is increasing day to day.

People are asking themselves questions, when will this cruelty stop? I have seen some areas which are in war for years; many great leaders even existed tried to resolve those conflicts but without any success. People who are living in these zones, live with fear and are longing for better country, they wish that one day they will live in the country of the free.

Ancient saints desire this country of the free, they wanted to live in the country which they will be free from sin and every kind of Satanic bondage. This freedom was still pending because Jesus was not yet glorified. Jesus came and died, and in the third day He rose up and took all the saints with Him to heaven. Their dreams came to pass and hence they saw the gates of heaven.

This morning, God wants you to start desiring for a better country, that is, a heavenly one. There will be no tears, death shall be no more, neither there be mourning, nor crying, no pain anymore, for the former things have passed away, Revelation 21:4. This is the country of the free, the home of victories who overcame sin by the blood of Jesus and the word of their testimony.

John the Apostle of love says in 1 John 3:3, 'All who have this hope in him purify themselves, just as he is pure.'' If you have hope of going to heaven, you will continue purifying yourself daily. You need to know that the day will come and you will be needed to leave this world and  go home. Start your day by purifying yourself and continue doing so that you may be worth to enter that country when the time comes.

Pray this prayer with me by faith and God is going to answer your prayer....

Dear Heavenly Father, I thank You for your Word. Lord I purify myself by your blood from every unrighteous and sin in my life. I'm looking forward to enter to heaven help me to live the life worth that one day You may call my name among many who will enter in your rest. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
